the rollout and that debacle of the system now working? >> richard, i think it is a good start for the obamacare. whether it turns around perceptions, i'm not sure yet. there's a long way go. we don't know the final numbers, obviously. today is the deadline. those are on the cue after the administration said they'll let them keep going. we'll see how many young people are signed up. there's a number of big questions coming. and how the program actually works as people visit their doctors and have the health insurance. i think it is something the administration is trying to ride the new momentum. trying to make sure that people have a more positive feeling about it. i think better than the alternative which is what you saw in the fall. if you saw leading up to this the president and others in the cab innocent were focussed on this in a way they be more or less. >> evidently the celebrity push they had put out there seems to be working at least in term of getting the excitement and as it ticked up. we'll get the numbers in another

week. former president bill clinton was saying no matter the numbers, democrats should embrace whatever happens in this first signup period and where aca is going. where would that approach work given some of the races are pretty tight. >> absolutely. it is easy for the former president to say and makes sense as the democrats to embrace for the president's legacy and 2016. for the midterm, i think the battle lines are set. i think republicans will keep using this especially in the tight senate races where it is not popular in a lot of places. there is uncertainty about the law and lack of education among people about what it does. i think republicans will criticize it about democrats will have to find a way to talk about it if the numbers are higher and young people signed up. that's a positive. i think it is going a struggle for the democrats in places where the law is not terribly popular to be able to talk about it in a way that makes sense.
