boko haram is being blamed for a series of massacres that left 48 people dead. and followed back-to-back car bombs that left 100 people dead. it's vicious attacks on defenseless civil i knows, the president said. and montana is the latest battle ground over marriage equality. the plaintiffs say the ban is unconstitutional since denies them equal protection. voters approved with measure back in 2004. and pennsylvania is not going to be appealing a ruling that overturned the state's ban on marriage equality. republican governor tom corbett says he does not support it, but an appeal would be unsuccessful. tom stooier is going to pump $100 million into states to battle republicans who he claims are climate science deniers.

these are the most critical races, the governors race in pennsylvania and california, and the senate races in iowa and others. and he says that next gen climate comes as mar co rubio says that it's not causing dramatic changes to the climate as scientists have portrayed it. a massive wildfire in flag staff, arizona, and 3,000 people being warned they may have to pack what they can and get out fast. hundreds of homes and businesses evacuated, and a major highway shut down. the wildfire spread from 450 achers to 4500 acres in 24 hours. hundreds of fire fighters are at the scene, including shot crews. strong winds are hampering efforts to contain the blaze. 19 members of a hot shot crew were killed last year. today is mcdonald's annual shareholder meeting, and 130 plus protesters are arrested

after protestering outside the headquarters. they are protesting the treatment and pay. they are calling for $15 an hour and the right to union oiz. they are backed by the international union. and the markets today, the investors watching the jobless claim numbers this morning. the stocks did bounce back from tuesday's fall after the fed's positive sentiments about the economy and the labor market. cnbc's seema mody is live at cnbc headquarters this morning. what is the outlook? the jobless number is going to be big. >> reporter: as you were pointing out, yesterday was a big day for the markets. the markets held the gains after the release of minutes from last month's fed meeting which showed that the central bank members showed how to exit the current monetary policy but gave no timetable for interest rate

hikes. existing home sales, that will be batwatched, and the dow risi 158 points yesterday. the best in five weeks. the nasdaq adding 34. some international news, russia and china signed a $400 billion gas deal on wednesday, a pact in the works for about a decade. for china, it secures a major source of cleaner fuel, for russia, it opens up a new market as the country risks losing european customers over the crisis in ukraine. it's a political triumph for vladimir putin who's been courting asian parents as the u.s. and europe isolated moscow. it comes on an economic summit today in st. petersburg. >> ebay was hacked, what are they recommended that the customers do. >> ebay says hackers attacked the network three months ago, stealing 145 million records from a database in what could be
