she was attacked by three pit bulls while visiting her grand parents in mississippi. earlier this po month, victoria and her family were asked to leave a kfc restaurant in jackson, mississippi. the news went viral after the family took to facebook. the kfc restaurant later apologized online. the restaurant has donated $30,000 to help with victoria's medical bills. a boy scout troop is safe this morning after being rescued from a grand canyon in arizona. some members were able to climb out of the canyon with help from the sheriff's department. but others including a 70-year-old man, had to be attached to harnesses and lifted

out. everybody was said to be just fine. lot of interesting things as a highway patrol troopers. but in utah, they got a very unexpected and fiery wake-up call over the weekend, they blocked off a road to protect motorists from nearby blaze. a propane tank exploded, sending shrapnel flying into the air, a piece weighing 50 pounds, landed by a trooper's car. it was caught on dash cam. it was a lucky dodge for troopers to show how much of a narrow escape that was one of america's most voices is silent today. casey kasem died sunday at the age of 82, a familiar presence in millions of americans' homes as host of america's top 40. he was also the voice of scooby-doo.

sort of help train troops. the question is, in two years, will that have been enough and will afghan forces be strong enough? you see the sectarian violence that divided the country and its leadership. elections are just ending here in afghanistan. as they go forward, to bridge their government and bring different parts of their country together and take over the leadership of the military operations in afghanistan. will that country be string enough to defend its own borders? those are the situations going on. i think it's a lesson for the president and this administration. >> absolutely. so many facets to consider. on the gop and 2016. romney finished his annual policy reteet in utah, what is his role here? is he playing kingmaker here? does he have that kind of influence?

>> two years after he lost, faded away a little bit on the national scene, he's become a bit of a kingmaker. people do in the establishment are interested to some extent of romney running again, but he continues to rule that out. he's likely have enough of that political campaign. but i think there's a lot of interest in some sort of national figure who can galvanize a lot of interest. the other candidates, like rand paul, marco rubio, chris christie, all having potential drawbacks and trouble mounting their own campaigns. i think people would like romney to stay what kind of candidate they would like to see. >> jeb bush was invited not able to attend. but are those in attendance possibly the gop candidate in 2016. >> absolutely. continued talk about a divide in
