who are the hard to capture targets? this is "way too early"! hey, everybody. good morning i'm thomas. the show learning the best angle for the perfect selfie. up high. up high. gravity is our friend. gravity is our friend. we want to start off with what is going on in the middle east. in is what the world has been watching and waiting for. hope, for the best. egypt emerged as broker between the peace deal between israel and hamas. th israel was on board. hope farce ceasefire were dashed when hamas said the group rejected the plan and would not stop fighting. it would have begun this morning with the aim of ending up violence by the end of the day. negotiations between both sides would have followed to ease the border blockade of gaza.

the a sprks going on to record that a senior israeli official said there would be even more strikes against hamas if the group doesn't accept the egyptian lead truce. we'll continue to watch it through the hours today. violence in ukraine is escalating. military transport plane was shot down by the russians in the region. the plane was flying at the height which eliminates the possibility it was shot down by a missile. it said it means a more sophisticated type of missile must have been used to take down the plane. nato officials said russians are rebuilding forces along the board we are about 12,000 troops in the region. germans reached out to set direct talks to end the conflict. elizabeth warren is not running for president. just ask her. she will tell you. yesterday about 75 miles outside of washington in west virginia she rallied a crowd for senate

including those up for re-election in south carolina and all important iowa. senator rand paul is facing more backlash on the foreign policy views. yesterday former vice president dick cheney wife and daughter sat down with politico for a wide ranging discussion. and the family weighed into an issue that is becoming a wedge between governor rick perry and rand paul. two possible 2016 candidates. it's the american foreign policy. and how best to defend the country. >> obviously senator paul leaves something to be desired with national security policy. i have big concerns with paul think we can be home -- >> isolationism is crazy. anybody who went through 9/11 who thinks we can retreat behind our oceans and will be safe and secure is -- i'm sorry. >> in other news the first wave

i think she would throw the case out in a half a second. >> could you imagine judge judy getting in on the action. the response from the house speakers's office was fitting. boehner tweeted the meme with the caption baloney. sergeant bow bergdahl returned to active duty. it's according to military officials. new details are raising questions about his relationship with his immediate family. according to the wall street journal, bergdahl refused to communicate with his parents since he was released from the taliban in may. a decision that caught the military off guard suggesting there's a deeper riff within the family than previously believed. both parents appeared with president obama in the rose garden. bergdahl's father was a vocal advocate for his son even growing a beard and learning the native language. he completed the reintegration process and has been assigned to

a desk job with active duty status. it. means investigators may question him over the circumstances of his disappearance. we jump over the pond where the first time ever women will be allowed to become bishops in the church of england. yesterday's historic vote overturns century of tradition ending one of the longest disputes. the change completes a process started more than 20 years ago when women were allowed to be ordained as priests. now we shift gears to talk about business news. we watch the dow rise above 17,000 once again as well as the three industries closing in the pods territory here. meanwhile later today we'll get a look at several key earnings from the second quarter. steve is live in london. good morning, steve. >> yeah. very good day. it's all about earnings. it kicked off on friday with wells fargo. we had citigroup yesterday.
