good morning and thanks for joining us. another tragic loss for hollywood. silver screen siren lauren becall has died. she sisled in films like the big sleep. off screen she was part of the team bogey and becall. >> reporter: she delivered one of the most memorable lines ever. lauren becall, to humphrey bogart in 1944s to have and have not. just 19 years old, it was her first film, opposite a movie icon who a year later would become her husband. becall would refer to him as my great for the rest of her life. >> i've had so lucky to have him, that life, that romance.

oh, my goodness, flood waters smashing through windows. and in arizona, the nation's reservoir hit an all time low. in 1983 it was 225 feet. the lake is so crucial there, providing drinking water to seven states, so hopefully they can get some kind of rain sometime soon. >> you can see where the waterline should be. that's a lot of water. >> a lot of water in other areas where they don't need it. >> too bad they don't have a better way of shipping storms. >> yesterday, the incredible rainfall totals was baltimore, 6.3 inches of rain. green haven, maryland, had 10.3 inches. the heaviest rain right over

burke in the primary. she will go head to head against scott walker in wisconsin. is senator rand paul in hot water with conservative group family leader? according to the des moines register, he ditched the group's summit this past week saying he had a family commitment, but the new york post reported that at the time of the summit, senator paul was at a fund-raiser in the hamptons. democrats are lashing out as a series of fake websites created by the the republican national committee. they are promoting fake candidate sites like this one attacking congressman john barrow through google search ads. and in alaska, not much love for their former gov.

new poll found that just 36% of alaskaens had a favorable view of sarah palin and only 20% want to see her run for president. and montana democrats, you can forget about asking actor jeff bridges to run for senate. he told howard stern his wife told him don't even think about it once a petition popped up asking him to run. more than 1,400 people have signed that petition. happy wife, happy life, right. that's your morning dish of scrambled politics. i'm joined by ed o'keefe. let's talk about hillary clinton. she may be running for something. she called president obama yesterday to make sure he knows that nothing she said was an attempt to attack him but how can you view her calling approach to syria a failure without getting the feeling that the clinton obama rivalry may be

back? >> if it's not a rivalry, it's at least politics being played by her you got to appear from distancing yourself from an increasingly unpopular president while at the same time not entirely throwing him under the bus because of course he still has strong support really among the loyal democratic voters she's going to need in 2016 especially in the event of a primary challenge from somebody else. she's trying to have it both ways here. clearly, this interview over the weekend, an incredible interview if people haven't read through it, there is a lot in there, this of course being probably the highlight of it, it's a great demonstration that she's clearly thinking -- and she's trying to find subtle ways to distance herself. i think what we saw yesterday was a slight attempt at damage control so this didn't balloon into something bigger. the fact they are hanging out tonight suggests things are -- >> is this just ease the pressure on both sides and make
