proposal under consideration as they mull a rapid response europe for eastern europe and round of sapgss. meanwhile, u.s., u.k., and others send troops to take part in ten days of exercises with the ukrainian military, and in the devicive move, france decided after pressure from the u.s. not to send a 1.7 billion warship to russia. russia's behavior has undermine the security of the continent. back at home, new developments in fergson, missouri over an unarmed shooting of a black teen by an officer. the justice department is expected to announce a civil rights investigation into the city's police department. the doj is investigating last month's shooting of michael brown leading todays of heated and violence protests. however, this investigation looks at the conduct of the

police department over several years. the probe is similar to investigations that looked into alleged profiling and excessive force, and in the past five years, the justice department opened 20 similar investigation of police departments across the country. raising minimum wage is on the arkansas state ballot after a petition received twice the signatured needed. if passed, it raises the minimum wage from $6.25 an hour to $7.50 in 2016, and $8.50 in 2017. it could be a wedge issue in the race, and they embraced the increase in february calling it the right thing to do and signing on to the petition. the opponent, the republican congressman, tom cotton, has yet to take an official position on it. democratic senator, elizabeth warren, criticizes former house majority leader, cantor, to take a multimillion dollar job on wall street being the vice

chairman and managing director of an investment bank earning $300 million in the next two years. in an interview, senator warren says it sends a pretty bad message. >> you know, how wrong can this be that basically what's happening here is that people work in washington and, man, they hit a resvolving door with speed that blinds you and heads straight out into the industry, not because they bring great expertise and insight, but because they are selling excess back into their former colleagues still writing policy and making laws. >> warren was less blunt, however, asked about hillary clinton's relationship with the financial industry. >> i'm curious if you think that hillary clinton is too cozy with wall street? i know you disagreed with her in the past on issues like bankruptcy legislation.

he had. reported by discussing the exit, and now democrats in the state may rally around greg orman, independent who will caucus with whatever party works to fix washington. roberts is seen as a vulnerable candidate getting through an ugly primary. a federal judge upsed louisiana's ban on same-sex marriage. the first state to do this since the supreme court ruled against the defense of marriage act writing, quote, public attitude is diverse, but any right to same-sex marriage is not end trenched to be fundamental. the couples who sue the plan on appealing the decision. a huge first for the new york st. patrick' day parade. the ban is lifted on openly gay groups marching in the parade. now, the parade was under heavy pressure from the mayor who would not march in the parade because of the policy and

bank, and after that jackson hole meeting, there's a lot of pressure on mr. draghi to come up with something new at the ecb to stimulate the eurozone economies. the markets in the u.s., i think, will be watching the lead from that press conference over at the ecb. i'll tell you who will want to see something positive here, and that's apple shareholders. 26 billion dollars wiped off the value of apple in trade yesterday. couple things going on here. this is interesting. you had a good time if you've been in the stock, up 32% over the last six months, and so that's been good, but they are running into problems. one is this naked celebrity story, which has people concern about security of their accounts with apple and the icloud in general, and the other one is there's a pacific crest analyst who put out a sell note yesterday saying maybe it's time to take some profits on apple, and that's exactly what happened. apple share price off over 4% in yes's trade. be interesting to see whether it
