fashionistas worldwide. and after it fixed fast. new guidelines for health care workers. good morning, breaking news, oscar pistorius will not escape jail time. just a a short time ago, he was sentenced to five years in prison for the killing of reeva steenkamp. the fallen olympian wiped away tears as they call it a right sentence. as for the gun charge, he was given a three-year suspended sentence. the question is where will he be jailed and when. the sentencing capped off a seven-month trial. the fashion industry is remembering a true icon this morning. oscar dela ren ta has died at the age of 82. he was diagnosed with cancer in

2006 but his exact cause of death is not clear. the last design was a dress for george clooney's wife. during his career he designed for every first lady dating back to jacqueline kennedy and also jenna bush. laura bush sent her condolences saying he was always the man who made women look and feel beautiful. the clintons says, his singular talent and taste elevated american fashion and his warmth and friendship will be missed by our family and all those whose lives he touch ed in his extraordinary journey. we have more on the man who revolutionized the fashion industry. >> he emerged in 1963. he went to work for designer elizabeth arden. just two years later at the age of 31, he set out on his own starting his own fashion label.

convicted sex offender is behind bars in indiana for strangling to death a 19-year-old woman. now police believe he's guilty of many other murders. right after his arrest, he confessed to killing seven women and led police to abandoned homes were their bodies were found. police are looking for missing persons files to see if there are any connections. the main suspect in the disappearance of hannah graham has been indicted. a grand jury found enough evidence to indict jesse matthew on charges of sexual assault, attempted murder and abduction. and a renewed push to gain control of key locations in iraq. isis militants staged 15 attacks yesterday. it came after the u.s. dropped supplies. during a visit to indonesia, john kerry defended the air drop. >> it would be irresponsible of

"the washington post" is reporting that vance mcalister raised less than $15,000 from july through september and these donations came from just 13 donors. he reportedly had to lend his campaign $795,000.

i would say an election as tight as this, anything can matter, but it's not going to be huge huge. >> polls are showing republicans are moving close to taking the senate. break that down and how likely do you think it is. >> keep your eye on the number six. that's how many they need to sway the senate. most of the polling models say it's more likely to happen than not. the map really is very easy for republicans. but if you're betting, you have to say it's going to happen. there are half a dozen races still up in the air, so you can't claim to know. >> there are a couple that are so close. >> who knows what's going to happen to mitch mcconnell. >> this may not mean a lot for midterm elections, but may mean a lot for hillary clinton. along comes monica lewinsky. she joined twitter yesterday and sent out her first tweet. what's her reappearance mean as far as politics in general and
