this. the interrogation methods used in the bush administration in the wake of the september 11th attacks questions the value of the information obtained but many said the u.s. gained intelligence through torture. the cia often mislead the american public in detailing their operations. dick cheney characterized it as just a crock. redacting it by 15% and pressuring intel committee chair diane feinstein for months. secretary of state john kerry phoned feinstein friday seeking a delay of the report's release, which only deepened democrats resolve. even the president's most loyal lieutenants have their questions. there was no question that he was going to make a clean break

jury's decision to not seek an indictment, the demonstrators stage ad a die-in protest outsi of bar clay's center. hundreds of protesters chanted i can't breathe. they rallied outside the spra entrance of the arena and blocked traffic. another protest took place inside involving nba players. lebron james and several other players wore t-shirts saying i can't breathe during their warm ups. and protesters took to the streets of berkeley, california. they shut down a major freeway for about an hour. meanwhile, president obama is speaking out about the mistrust between minorities and police in his first tv interview since the dparner decision. >> the vast majority of police

officers are doing a really tough job and most of them are doing it well and trying to do the right thing. but a combination of bad training some cases, a combination in some cases of departments that really are not trying to root out biases or tolerate sloppy police work, a combination in some cases of folks just not knowing any better. and in a lot of cases subconscious fear of folks who look different. all of this contributes to a national problem that's going to require a national solution. >> the president also recalled a recent meeting with civil rights activists and how the issue is so personal for him. >> my mind went back to what it was like for me when i was 17, 18, 20. as i told them not only do i hear the pain and frustration of

released. i want to bring you up to speed on the latest of the university of virginia after rolling stone backtracked on its story about an alleged gang rain at a fra tern tee house. the ban in the wake of that explosive story. a letter to parents says the ban will remain in effect through january the 9th. she's moving forward with a series of changes to address sex crimes on campus. two new groups will also be formed. one which will examine what changes are needed and another to be placed putting that plan into action on campus. senate. leader mitch mcconnell says he'd back rand paul if paul makes a run for president. >> i'm a big fan of his.
