guarded the super bowl footballs especially after deflate-gate. the nfl says that it will take custody of the footballs today, will hand them over to officials two hours before kick off. >> we're reviewing our protocol in terms of chain of custody, the officials do have the footballs up until about ten minutes prior to kick off and then they're brought out to the field. so we're reviewing that protocol. >> why not just take the scale, balance it in front of america, bring out the footballs and prove that they're the right game weight in front of america? i think they should do that. we're learning more about katie perry's halftime show according to the ap am missy elliott will be perry's surprise guest. she held a news conference yesterday and it was clear she's been follow the news in the run up to the big game. >> i think i'm probably the only person in super bowl halftime history that will ever bring both a lion and sharks to the

where the heck has he been? he'll be there. 8:00 to 10:00 eastern time. so arizona is coping with a major health concern as tens of thousands of people arrive no phoenix for the super bowl and it's because of a measles outbreak that started last month at disneyland. health officials say they are now close to 100 cases documented, more than in a typical year, nearly 80 cases in california and most linked to disney parks. additional cases are being reported in seven other states including several in the phoenix area. the state is now racing to contain the outbreak amid fears it could be spread by super bowl visitors. health officials say that hundreds of people in arizona may be at risk including about 200 kids. cdc officials believe the outbreak originated overseas and was brought here by either a u.s. citizen who returned home or a foreign tour wrist. the agency says this should serve as a wake-up call to parents to have their children properly vaccinated. south carolina senator lindsay graham has said don't

count him out to run in 2016. now he's showing he's more serious than many had thought, forming a committee called security through strength it could inject foreign policy into a race that's shaping up to be predominantly about the middle class and the economy. he's also ahead of the curve with strategists in his home state of south carolina where the third early primary of the cycle takes place. meanwhile in order to staff up before a potential run jeb bush grabbed a former romney senior adviser who could help him make gains in iowa. if bush goes all in someone on team romney will be on his team. the ap reporting that some former romney donors are starting to line up about jeb saying the things they liked about romney they see in jeb and took romney on his word when he said he would not run again. he is expected to hold a thus conference and call with backers today. and there's senator rand paul

veto. nine democrats joined their republican colleagues in supports of the trans national pipeline. the president ultimately has the final say in whether the project is approved since it crosses international borders. it would be just his third veto used. congressional republicans considering adding this measure on to another future bill to try to get the plan across that line. >> senator john mccain lashed out at protesters who interrupted a committee hearing yesterday calling one man a low life scum. former secretary of state henry kissinger was about to testify but as he walked into the room protesters from the group code pink began chanting and waving signs demanding his arrest watch what happens when mccain thought things were brought under control. >> i've been a member of this committee for many years and i have never seen figure as disgraceful and outrageous and despicable as the last demonstration that just took place about -- you know you're going to have to shut up or i'm going to have you arrested.

the third quarter they posted their biggest loss in about 14 years. maybe the fourth quarter is the start of a turn over. after hours they were higher by 12 frs. very good sales growth in north america, sales were up by 22% in that crucial holiday shopping season. let's talk a little bit about google because the picture wasn't as bright for google. revenue growth in the fourth quarter that was below expectations and its core business, which is surge advertising, that's definitely slowing. and another big theme for the company is the stronger dollar and that's taken a bite out of the top line and the fourth quarter as well. not just for google but a whole host of other companies. and one of the most interesting take a ways for google is google glass that has been underperforming and google is now scaling back its ambitions on that front, but analysts tell us that's good news because at least google is selective in its
