some areas could see up to 6 inches of snow. it could be a slushy morning in new york and d.c. and evening commute. bill karins will fill us in on whether this will be the last blast of winter. a death in mississippi has the fbi searching for answers this morning. they discovered a man's body hanging from a tree in claiborne county. local officers were searching for a person who went missing earlier in the month. the ncaap says the body is otis byrd an african american. now, at this point the sheriff's office has not determined whether the death was a homicide or a suicide. today local police and the fbi are expected to go door to doo conducting interviews in the area. in philadelphia a deadly police shooting turns violent.

ten people were arrested after chairs and punchings were thrown. protesters are upset that two officers were cleared in the death of brandon state brown who was killed during a traffic stop last december. his death sparked weeks of protest. outside the meeting this was the scene, a huge police presence as officers tried to keep things calm. just days after his surprising last minute campaign deck cla ration that there. >> this came the same day netanyahu seemed to backtrack on the comments about a palestinian state. help us break all of this down. what is netanyahu saying now? >> reporter: well he's saying that under certain conditions he would be for a two-state solution which seems to reverse

tsarnaev faces the possibility of the death penalty for the attack. 3 people were killed and more than 260 were injured. nbc station has confirmed fbi agents are looking into the disappearance of two women. robert burst was recently charged with first degree murder in the shooting of susan berman. he is currently in custody in louisiana while waiting to be transferred to l.a. his attorney dismissed reports of the new investigations. fba director james comey wouldn't give details on the widening investigation either. >> i can't say and if i knew i wouldn't say. i know that we are doing a number of things in different field offices to run down leads. that is one of the powers of the fbi. we're everywhere in the united states. if local police need help they will ask us to run out the lead somewhere.

floor from the republicans not putting up loretta lynch was like putting her at the back of the bus. there are several democrats that are raising the issue of race. on the flip side of that republicans have frequently stalled nominations to advance their legislative agenda. the issue here is a human trafficking bill that has bipartisan support by republicans at the last minute attaching more partisan amendment to this bill so a lot of jockeying going on both behind the scenes and also in the senate to see what is going to happen with the nomination. >> it's gotten to the point of frustration. how long can republicans stall this nomination? >> well i think that it depends on the human trafficking bill and so you know democrats are consistently voted against that so they say that democrats are stalling the human trafficking bill. i think this could go on.
