allies at adds. the white house is now re-evaluating its approach after the campaign plan to reject the establishment of a palestinian state. netanyahu has since backtracked on that position. we're talking days after his reelection. it's pretty stunning that he's done it and he did it with our own andrea mitchel. >> i don't want a one-state solution. i want a sustainable two state solution but circumstances have to change. >> but you're reelected on a mandate. your supporters believe you were reelected on a mandate against a two-state solution. that is the way the white house is considering. they're strongly not blocking a vote for a state for palestinian. >> that state would become a terrorism state. we need real security in order to have a realistic two-state

solution. >> all right. he's against a two-state solution but he's for a realistic two-state solution. i'm not sure what that means but the white house is also whacking away at netanyahu for comments that he made about israeli arabs as voters were heading to the polls. >> i think that it is certainly a pretty cynical tactic, and there's no doubt that it's divisive and it is a pretty transparent attempt to marginalize the right to participant in the election. >> this surrounds a potential deal with iran's over the nuclear program, something that netanyahu came to america, came to capitol hill and gave the semi state of the union address to oppose. >> why should president obama trust you when you came to congress to lobby against his negotiations with iran? >> i think there's an unbrokable bond between israel and the united states. we've both said that.

>> what about between you and barack obama? >> we have we can have differences but we have some things that unite us. >> the white house isn't impressed and there are signs president obama is not ready to forgive and forget. and while you were sleeping we heard boehner is going to go next week on a trip on march 31th and that's ten days after the victory of netanyahu. senior israeli officials are telling the paper that other republicans leaders will also join baper for the trip. the partisan side or angle to the relationship between the u.s. and israel goes on. obviously a big concern for a lot of foreign policy types. the final details of this visit were reportedly worked out when netanyahu was here to address congress. speaking of iran officials are trying to arrange a historic

nuclear agreement and there are key sticking points this morning. u.s. and western officials want iran's sanctions to be eliminated in phases but iran says they want them removed immediately and one european official says that iran considers this issue a deal breaker. there's another obstacle and that is what type of limits iran has on developing new centrifuges. the associated press is reporting a draft agreement would limit iran to 6,000 machines but more than the initial u.s. goal of only 500 to 1,000. with a deadline just 1 1 days away, the secretary of state says progress is being made but he admits tough issues still exist. in a video message president obama urged iranians to support the deal. >> a nuclear deal now can help open the door to a brighter future for you, the iranian

attack and said so in a serious of online postings. they called it a den of infidels and vice. five people are suspected of having direct ties of the gunman. others were taken into custody but tunisian authorities say they have no link to isis. the death toll is rising. officials say 23 people were killed when the attackers began firing on a bus full of tourists before running into the museum. the man and his wife were found inside a full day after the attack. the couple says they were too scared to move or try using their cell phones. brit issue prime minister is condemning the attack where a british woman was among the victims. >> this is the latest example of extremists terror, and we have to fight it with everything we have, whether that is taking the

poison out of young minds here in britain, whether it's working with intelligence and policing and security services in other countries around the world or whether it is dealing with areas of the world from which these problems come. in the end, our values freedom of speech democracy, the rule of law, they will win through flood watch. >> that battle continues worldwide. we'll see what happens next. here at home there's an investigation that the fbi is launching this morning in the case of a mississippi man who was found hanging from a tree. according to a source in the justice department, the civil rights decision of the doj is looking into it. investigators spent thursday gathering evidence but they haven't concluded where the death was a suicide or a homicide. the mississippi chapter of the naacp identified the man as 54 54-year-old otis bird missing since march second mchltd he was

last seen when a friend dropped him off earlier this month at a casino. his family filed a missing person's report six days later and his body was found less than a mile from his home. they are interviewing door to door today and others who knew him will be questioned. he was convicted of murdering a woman and spent over 25 years in prison. turning to the university of virginia where there's a growing outrage over the use of force in the arrest of a 20-year-old honor student this week. martese johnson appeared at a press conference but he didn't speak. he issued a statement through his attorney. meanwhile investigation or thes are still trying to figure out exactly what happened on wednesday night that led to the ugly moment captured in this photo. nbc news correspondent is in charlottesville where more for

us. >> the student's attorney stresses he did not provide a fake i'd outside this bar but now there's a criminal investigation underway under what happened. >> his head is bleeding. >> reporter: this video obtained by the student newspaper shows officers arresting martese johnsing outside a pub early wednesday morning. >> i go to uva. i go to uva. >> that's johnson on the ground yelling. >> i go to uva. >> reporter: in virginia the state enforces lickerquor laws and they say johnson was detained after being denied entry to the bar. according to the arrest warrant, johnson was agitated and blij rant and is now charged with obstruction of justice without force and public intoxication. about a thousand students

department of alcohol control has been under scrutiny before. the state last year reached a settlement with a uva student was arrested. >> newly apointed secret service director didn't have a good day on capitol hill yesterday. on the hot seat again. he had to field questions regarding the conduct of his agents. he tried to explain how surveillance tapes of a recent incident that involved two agents were lost. how do you do that? i think that was around the white house too. how did those things disappear? let's bring in our white house correspondent. she's in washington. she has the latest. >> reporter: good morning. secret service director was on capitol hill yesterday to again talk about his agency's budget but all lawmakers wanted to talk about, the latest scandal involving the secret service. senators pressed the secret

service director on whether his agency erased surveillance tapes. he acknowledged there is at least one missing camera angle. >> that camera angle we do not have an we're going to go back and hopefully be able to capture. several lawmakers complained there are only tapes of when two agents drove onto the white house grounds after entringing and interrupting a bomb investigation. >> that tape should be preserved. >> the supervisor allegedly allowed the agents to go home without a breathalyzer. the director was not told of the incident for five days. he said he understands all the suspicious. >> we don't have a system where someone can erase tapes but they are at 72 hours taped over. and i know that's a concern. >> at this intersection where the incident occurred there are at least ten cameras that are
