were injured and about two dozen buildings destroyed after a tornado ripped through the small town of dell mont. all residents have been evacuated until further notice. flash flooding led to rescues in texas. you can see the national guard air lifting people to safety. others were rescued from their front doors and some from their rooftops. if mother's day weekend came with so much lousy weather, why not wrap it up in a beautiful package. this twister with a rainbow. it is for today, 50 million people will remain at risk. bill karins is tracking the storm and we'll have the latest with his weather report. let's go to mississippi where three men and a woman have been charged in the fatal shooting of two police officers during a traffic stop in hattiesburg. officials say that 34-year-old benjamin dean and loirk tate were shot to death after one of

them pulled over a speeding vehicle for a violation. the suspects fled with one allegedly using one of the slain officer's vehicles. the four ranging in age from 22 to 29 were eventually captured in different locations yesterday and are facing charges that include capital murder. in politics jeb bush made waves this weekend shoring up his conservative precredentials and allowing little daylight between him and his mother and hillary clinton. on saturday he served as the commencement speaker at liberty university and said the obama administration uses quote, coercive federal power that harms religious liberty. >> what should be easy calls in favor of religious freedom have become an aggressive stand against its. somebody is being small minded and intolerant. it's not the men and women who

three republicans, bush rubio and paul have all crept inside the margin of error with her. when asked to predict the next president, 27% said they weren't sure. as president obama pushes forward on a landmark trade deal he's finding greater support among republicans than his own party at times. a senate vote is expected as early on tuesday on a so-called fast track portion giving the president greater latitude to take action without congress. it would roll back tariffs and goods and level the trading field in both directions. many are vowing a fight. they are skeptical and are worried it will cost american jobs. the president doesn't mince jobs about one of the most high profile democrats who opposes

suit saying by alleging injury to his good reputation the burden of proof is now on him refusing to answer questions isn't going to work here. i'm not sure how well this will end up for him. kingsman says winston rained her in december of 2012. prosecutors failed to file charges. kingsman is also suing the university. it directed us to a statement to its website from earlier in the year saying the university went to great lengths to protect the rights and integrity of the student conduct code process. florida university does not allow sexual misconduct regardless of the perpetrator. a good day for u.s. stocks friday. today all eyes are on europe as euro zone finance ministers meet to discuss the future of greece. the financial times calling it a possible make or break moment

for the country. we are joined live from london. it seems like this greece story has been going on for the last 18 months or so. is there a real chance of progress here? i first went to grease on this story in 2000. >> it has been going on for half my career as a journalist and is set to go on. we've had soo many meetings. they are trying to negotiate a way through so greece can get new financing. they're having a hard time paying off past deals. they have to pay off $750 million on monday. and $3 billion plus for the ecp in july and august as well. the numbers are quite staggering. i'm a little bit skeptical that this is the make or break. elsewhere the chinese, cutting in straighter. slightly worried about their

muggy morning and the traffic already starting. time now for sports. we begin with round two to los angeles. the clippers blow out the rockets 128-95 in game four of the western conference. jordan led with 26 points. clippers take a 3 1 series lead. the bulls looking to take a lead over the cavaliers but this someone close down to the final horn. tied game. cavs on the inbound with enough time for one more play. >> 1.5 remaining. james for the win. it's good. lebron james at the buzzer. >> oh clutch from the king.

capitals band wagon when it suits me fine. >> you already jumped off. >> i know it's going off a cliff. tell me about the severe weather today. >> today we won't be as bad was tornadoes but it only takes one. unfortunately it looks like we learned that lesson again. it's east of dallas north of interstate 20. the estimate about 30% of the homes were damaged by this tornado. you can imagine the impacts on a small community. they're going door to door. these are some of the pictures from over the weekend. 89 reported tornadoes over the weekend. 53 on saturday. 26 on sunday. and as we go throughout the day today, we'll probably get somewhere between maybe eight to ten or twelve tornados reported during the day today. hopefully they'll be in fields. we had one or two fatalities from the tornadoes. no towns taken out by the twisters but

still a lot of cleanup. severe thunderstorm watch from del rio to austin. we haven't had many tornadoes reported around the little rock or shreveport area. a lot of downpours there and the chances of large hail. north, unbelievable snow storm for this time of year. denver got a couple of inches. rapid city got up to a foot and it's still snowing. on the border of south dakota and north dakota. it's like 80 degrees and humid and then snowing in north dakota. 57 people at risk. wind damage is greatest threat. we could see flash flooding out of this but the greatest concern for tornadoes is southern michigan and northern ohio. and north carolina and south carolina for the last couple of days, it's pouring. it was an ugly weekend for mom
