with counts for allegedly plotting to kill a victim and a witness, the friend who accompanied him the night of the alleged break in and rape. >> it was publicized this conspiracy charge and now all other inmates see it in the newspaper and see it on the news and he becomes more high profile inmate. >> prosecutors say the murder-for-hire plot. patrick o'sullivan wanted to kill both alleged victim and witness and and the 21 year old sought the help of an unidentified inmate who was about to be released. suffolk d.a. provided transcripts of the notes by saying the d.a.'s case against me would lose the power, right? as long as you get that done. o'sullivan sent more traditional letters after the inmate left jail. in one o'sullivan instructed

that the witness's body be buried so he could big dig it up later, cut off the man's head. in the end the plot never materialized. his hitman cut a deal with prosecutors. >> this man dangerous, dangerous man is going to be in jail for a long, long time. >> o'sullivan says other inmates influenced him to come up with the plan. >> at the time i wasn't thinking straight. i was more consumed by fear that if i didn't do something now that i could do 30 years. so i succumbed to peer pressure, went along with it, helped plan it. and i came back to really cause a lot of problems. >> o'sullivan has pled not guilty to new conspiracy charges based partially on assertion that another inmate helped write the letters.

curly tut's stay at the suffolk county jail has been marked by violence. the disciplinary board recently gave tut 20 days on lockdown status for fighting which he said was retaliation for having food stolen from him. >> he can't keep his hands to himself. >> officials say when he initiated another fight they decided to take more drastic steps, 60 days on lockdown,
