a 14-year-old girl lost part of her left arm and could lose her left leg after she was attacked by a shark off the coast of north carolina. a 16-year-old boy was attacked, again taking his left arm. both were rushed to hospitals where their treatment continues. >> both are out of surgery and in stable condition. >> it happened at high tide near ocean crest pier popular destination at the beach, just three days after a 13-year-old was bit by a shark while riding a boogie board about 20 miles up the coast from sunday's attacks. witnesses say the girl received minor injuries to her foot. swimmers were ordered out of the water in oak island. neither beach has been closed at this point. jay gray, nbc news. just when they thought they were zeroing in, this morning authorities are now expanding their search for those two convicted killers on the run for more than a week now. the manhunt is still focused on the woodlands of upstate new york.

welcome back to "first look." good and bad in the gulf of mexico. the rainfall from this system could cause huge problems because the area it's headed to has already had a ton of rain this spring. center of the storm is here. let's fast forward to when it makes its official landfall. it looks like some time during the afternoon on tuesday, somewhere near victoria just south of the houston area. lot of heavy rain of course with a landfalling tropical system. likely tropical storm bill at that time. as we go through tuesday to wednesday, it heads north toward north texas. our computers are estimating along the coastal areas easily widespread four to five-inch rainfall totals. isolated amounts could get close to eight to ten inches. lot of flooding with that much rain is possible. here is the problem. we'll also watch the rain circulating northwards. stalled out frontal system to the jet stream in the north will not push this along. we'll watch moisture training

leagues. >> reporter: this was the last image many of us had of baseball in baltimore. orioles playing in an empty stadium, closed to fans for security reasons two days after riots enveloped this city in the wake of freddy gray's death in police custody. this weekend, baseball here returned to its grass roots. kids playing on a manicured field only blocks from neighborhoods where buildings burned in april. as the riots raged, major league baseball's players association looked for a way to help. it found the james mosur baseball league. >> this is our history. you're talking about a 55-year-old association. using the game to do it. as much as we want to create the next major league player, being able to impact these young men and women on the field and off the field is what this league has been doing for a long time. that's why being here today and being part of what they've been doing behind the scenes and trying to bring it more to the
