can't overdose on them. be careful mixing drugs sdrugs. >> thank you. we have a look at how close we came to a terror attack on the fourth of july weekend. arrests likely prevented the attacks around the holiday. here's justice correspondent pete williams. >> the fbi was making arrests. some rounded up the fbi says were talking about killing people during the holiday. the fbi director said some were carried out to plan add tacks. five arrests came in new york area. two others in boston. investigators say a third man will there originally planned attacks on july 4th.

money. >>incredible. >> it's staggering to look at numbers. what does it say about the power of super pacts? >> it says a lot and about what you need to run a campaign. you saw when we had the delay from jeb bush getting in the race he was going around with donors making the case building the super pact. even on smaller lesser known candidates, she has used super pact as a way to raise more money than her campaign to be able to help with their political strategy. from a voting perspective, that means we're in for a lot of negative attack ads. >> we're going to see a lot period. without big money backing, do other candidates stand a chance? well you know i think there's a potential risk for backlash. we saw this during the 2012

presidential campaign betty with mitt romney. a lot of his critics tried to portray out of touch, too wealthy, too big business. i think there's a chance for someone like senator rubio to potentially gain on former governor bush. i don't think sanders is ever going to beat hillary clinton. if you look at surging in polls and large crowd size he has the opportunity to portray himself as an underdog to see the least. >> absolutely. all right. just again counting the dollars. that's a lot. it's staggering. >> to donald trump it's nothing right? >> true. it's change. thanks for being here. a look back at the best of the week next. ♪ ♪ ♪
