bomb on the beach. he also went by the name on facebook. fbi launched the undercover operation after seeing the page filled with praise for isis. officials say swarez bought two boxes of nails, gave the nails, cell phone and backpack to fbi informant. in a recorded call he allegedly says, quote, i can go to the beach at nighttime, put the thing in the sand. cover it up so the next thing i call and the thing will make a real hard noise from nowhere. >> the attorney says charges are trumped up. >> i've met this young man, talked to this young man. i gauged his demeanor. he is not a violent jihadist. he's not a member of isis. he is a cuban-american kid who maybe troubled may be confused. he is not a terrorist. >> now officials say they monitored swarez months and he

i don't think it would be in the best interest of our party to have someone i don't think would be an effective president to be a nominee. that's why i'm running. now to new york. former prison worker joyce mitchell is pleading guilty for her role helping sweat and matt escape from a prison last month. msnbc is learning more about the relationship with the two men likely to put her behind bars as well. john has the latest. >> with a tearful signature, joyce mitchell submitted a plea deal. she admitted smuggling into the prison for richard matt and david sweat, who the da says used them to escape. >> she's been very anxious, depressed, remorseful for what she did. >> mitchell spoke to investigators 20 hours over four
