be in court today. officials released video from the officer's own body camera shot during the incident two weeks ago. nbc anne thompson has the story. we want to warn you, it may be disturbing for some of our viewers. >> the final moments of 43-year-old sam dubose life captured on body camera of the officer now accused of his murder. university of cincinnati officer ray tinsing stopped dubose for not having a license plate. he doesn't produce his license. the bottle says gin but he suggests it hold nos liquor. several more times he asks for

his license. less than two minutes after the approach, tinsing fires a single shot hiting dubose in the head killing him as the car tarts to move. tinsing chases after the car and another officer arrives. >> he purposely killed him. this the bluntest of terms, dubose's death was called senseless. >> this is the most asnine act i've seen a police officer make. he wasn't dealing with someone wanted for murder okay. he was dealing with someone that didn't have a front license plate. >> the video contradicts tinsing's story he was dragged by the car and had to fire his weapon. tinsing's attorney says a second tape shows his client was on the ground. >> he felt his life was in danger. >> tinsing is 25 been an officer four years. full time with the university of cincinnati since last year.

the stop was made off campus but allowed under mutual agreement with the city. for the dubose family -- >> seeing that video let me know my son did absolutely nothing. >> both the dubose family and city officials are calling for calm to avoid repeat of riots in 2001 when an officer shot and killed an unarmed black man. video tape and indictment to keep focus on justice for sam. >> his family said he had gotten engaged the day before the killing. tinsing is the first police officer to be indicted for murder in the cincinnati area. the university of cincinnati cancelled classes yesterday as precaution. there were protests but demonstrators remained peaceful. investigators are trying to confirm they're stumbling on

their first threw from the missing airliner that went missing a year ago. this piece of debris was found on a remote island in the indian ocean and believe it's a piece of a boeing 777. the only missing 777 is that malaysian airlines flight mh370. >> it's a huge break in the biggest aviation mystery in decades. boeing investigators have looked at photos of the debris cover nds seashells and wash add shore on the remote island in the ocean. it appears to have been in the water for at least a year. >> translator: the investigation has started. we're going to try to investigate who own this is piece of wreckage. >> malaysia flight 370 with 239 on board has been missing since

race knowing one of the drivers will be drunk. that's what prepping for this debate is like. the agency concluded long time taliban leader omar is dead. we're told he died back in 2013 sick and died mysteriously. there are reports he had hepatitis b. rumors of his death have been out there for years but taliban denied claims. a white house spokesperson said officials were aware of omar's death and found them to be quote, credible. yesterday secretary of state john kerry testified in front of the senate. republican lawmakers continued to hammer away at secretary kerry and energy secretary over two side deals between iran and iaea. >> why can't we confirm or deny content of agreements in public? why is this classified?

gear up for school. gear up for great. one time philadelphia congressman has been indictmented on federal racketeering charges and bribery. the 29 count indictment stems from 2007. he's accused of misusing hundreds of thousands in federal grant money charitable and campaign funds to cover loans and debts. he's accused of misusing funds to pay his son's student loan debt. four other associates ss indictmented. here's what the congressman said yesterday. >> this is normal investigation where there are allegations after a long year eight year investigation. >> the congressman denies wrong doing. time for sports.

we begin with latest on deflate gait and nfl's decision to uphold brady's four game suspension. the lawsuit filed against the league yesterday asking the court to vacate roger goodell's decision. it asks for a rule lging by september 4th or injunction allowing brady to play in the season opener. this day comes a day after the management council filed a lawsuit asking a manhattan court to confirm goodell's decision. hours after patriot's owner robert kraft condemned the league for upholding brady's decision. >> the decision handed down by the league yesterday is unmath admissible. i want to apologize to patriots
