you probably can't either. let's turn out west to where 30,000 firefighters are battling wildfires. 200 active duty soldiers will step in to help fire crews battling over 100 fires in 10 western states. one of the fires in washington is where we find nbc's miguel with this report for us. >> reporter: these are conditions firefighters are facing on the front lines. flames shooting closer and closer to homes in washington state. the national guard has moved in bracing for a monster day. winds expected to kick up dramatically. >> there's hundreds and hundreds of houses that could be in the line of fire. >> the air attack key dozens of drops every hour. four held comicopters have been making drops hammering this little with water. the blaze is still on the move.
