this on. this is "way too early" a show that would settle for lunch at the sizzler. good morning. i'm ayman mohyeldin. we begin with third straight day of losses for the chinese stock market. this as wall street remains on edge after a historic drop yesterday. the shanghai plunged 7.6% to reach the lowest point in months. there's fears of losses here after the dow fell 588 points to hit the lowest level many eight months. we saw the dow drop more than 1,000 points during opening minutes of trading before recovering throughout the course of the day. nancy is live in london. what are we expecting to see

this morning? >> well, ayman, looks like a bit of good news this morning. we are looking at u.s. markets to open a bit higher with dow open 300 points. looking for gaining of 2%. on a normal day it's encouraging. given a steep drop of last three sessions, there's a long way to go before we get to near high levels if at all. one thing we should mention, european harmarkets push higher range of 3%. china still a real concern. we did see bit of a relief in the china session earlier. the shanghai composite closed down nearly 8% as you suggested. silver lining is is a lot of analysts claim the chinese central bank should come through with a stimulus. analysts continue to wait for that. that could give a continued boost to markets. for now, the eye is on the fed

as federal reserve hosts the summit in jackson hole later this week. >> name of the game, wait and see. live from london, thank you very much. as you imagine, some presidential candidates were quick to link the market instability on direct result of president obama's policies with chi china. >> i want y'all to consider the real possibility the reason our markets are affected so badly by economic problems in china -- not in the united states but economic problems in china -- is because of policies of this president. remember that when the chinese hold this much of our debt, if the chinese get a cough, we get the flu. and that's what's happening right now in my opinion in our financial markets. >> we're tying ourself so closely to asia in particular to china, this is going to be trouble for our country. not only now have they taken our jobs, base, manufacturing, but

second. >> meanwhile, presidential candidate jeb bush spent the day in a town in texas on the border defending his term of the use of anchor babies last week. he said he may have offended more people in doing so. >> this is ludacris for the clinton campaign and others to suggest somehow i'm using a derogatory term. there's fraud committed with organizeed efforts. frankly it's more related to asian people coming into our country, having children many that organized efforts, taking advantage of a noble concept with birth rights citizenship. i support the 14th amendment. nothing about what hah i said should be viewed as derogatory towards immigrants at all. we need to take a step back and chill out when it comes to political correctness. >> now the rhetoric between bush

and donald trump is getting personal. speaking in english and spanish, he talked about the plan. >> it is unrealistic, would cost hundreds of billions of dollars. it will create friction with third largest trading partner that's not necessary. he's wrong about this. if he was interested in the more comprehensive approach, he may want to read my book i published four years ago. i welcome mr. trump from the debate. he's a serious candidate. he ought to be held to what serious candidates are held to. he needs to be held to account for his views. update. category 1 early sunday morning heading towards the central bahamas. what are computer models tell us. there's a split in what could happen. it could be a weaker storm, interact with the dominican republic and stay a tropical storm and head towards cuba. couple of other computer models have it a stronger tomorrow. it could curve more and be off the southeast coast three or four days. luckily the flow off the coastline, south carolina, georgia and carolinas could keep the storm near the coast or off the coast. doesn't look like much of a chance this could slam in the southeast u.s. it could be close enough to have direct impact for beaches and definitely rip currents and wave action and that sort of stuff. florida and coastline of georgia. not a lot of bad weather out there today. beautiful this great lakes. showers and thunderstorms in new england. looks like this is the storm to watch. >> we'll keep an eye on it.
