it's good to be with you. i'm frances rivera. five people are dead and at least two gunmen are still at large after a mass shooting in wilkins burg, pennsylvania. just outside of pittsburgh. two of the injured are in critical condition. three died at the scene and a fourth was pronounced dead at the hospital. police say there were multiple gunmen. >> there is ballistic evidence that leads us to believe there's at least two people that discharged weapons into a backyard party or a cookout of some sort. looks like they were all fleeing toward the back door of the residence when the second gunman fired from the side of the yard. and they all seemed to get caught on the back porch. >> no motive is known at this time. the gunmen are still out there. police are asking for the public's help. hillary clinton and bernie

sanders face off last night. their fourth one-on-one debate and first since sanders' upset victory in michigan. it was hosted by univision in miami. it centered on immigration and for first time clinton vowed not to deport undocumented immigran immigrants who have not committed crimes. >> i do not have the same policy as the administration does. i not want to support children or fanly members either. of up the un -- of the undocumented people i do not want to see them deported. >> i happen to agree with president obama on many issues. i think he's done a great job as president of the united states. he is wrong on the issue of deportation. i disagree with him on that. to answer your question, no, i will not deport children from the united states of america. >> after the debate, clinton headed to another event in miami

and got a big name introduction from actress eva longoria. >> so we saw two candidates on the stage tonight, but there really is for me and for our community only one candidate who is speaking to us. please help me welcome the future president of the united states, hillary clinton. >> clinton no doubts hopes the support will continue to help in the latino centric florida primary next tuesday. polls show her with a commanding lead in the sunshine state. it's winner takes all delegates. there are 160 up for grabs in ohio as well. clinton has a smaller nine-point advantage there, although she was ahead in michigan polling as well and sanders ended up with the narrow victory. there are 66 delegates on the line for republicans in ohio. kasich still trails trump by six points. in marco rubio's home state of florida, trump is ahead by 23

points. rubio's numbers have been on a downward spiral and he expressed second thoughts about his recent personal attacks against trump. >> in terms of things that have to do with personal stuff, at the end of the day that's not something i'm entirely proud of. my kids were embarrassed by it. and i -- you know, if i had to do it again i wouldn't. >> former candidate jeb bush plans to meet with rubio, cruz and kasich, but not trump. if it's unclear if he will make an endorsement before the primaries. at least three deaths are being blamed on a series of storms battering the gulf coast and the south. 25 million people are under the threat of floods and thousands of people have been evacuated. some of the worst flooding is in louisiana. last night, governor bell edwards declared a state of emergency. and the torrential rain and flooding hasn't stopped drivers from trying to cross flooded out roads. in ada, a section of interstate 20 was closed after powerful floodwaters carried away two

semis. one into the median. one right off the road. and in boser city, louisiana, a bird's-eye view of how widespread the flooding is and what residents are having to go through. >> we're dealing with the potential of up to 25 inches of rain when this is all said and done. we have never seen anything like that. last year's red river event was a totally different animal than this. no one has ever experienced that. but any time when you're dealing with 25 inches of rain over three or four days it's serious. >> meanwhile, in east texas, major flooding has closed all roads in rust county due to rising floodwaters. let's check in with bill karins who has more on the historic flooding and then on the east, these crazy temperatures. some people getting as high as 08. >> it was 82 in newark, new jersey. yeah, this is a very unusual weather pattern. when you get the extreme weather patterns you can get extreme

weather. all of northern louisiana and southern arkansas is where the highest totals have been, from shreveport to interstate 20. this area of gray in here, that's 12 inches of rain. you know, these are the kind of rains you get when you expect a hurricane to linger over the area or a tropical storm. 11 or 12 inches. even greenville had 8 to 10 inches of rain. this morning, we are not done. i mean, we're continuing to see the heavy rain in the area. it will continue on and off during the day. thunderstorms are riding right up through the hard hit areas from yesterday. so still raining. and we have major flooding and record flooding on a little streams and rivers. that's going to continue. now the rain is starting to shoot up into southern illinois. we have about 23 million people under a watch right now. 3 1/2 million under warnings. we are going to potentially add -- this is amazing, francis. this is going to shift to louisiana and mississippi, with

>> i have firefighters missing. >> reporter: followed by an incredible response. >> all members are accounted for. >> i do have two members that have injuries from flying debris. >> reporter: all told, nine firefighters injured but all of them alive. minutes earlier the firefighters had been searching for a gas leak near three businesses. now totally obliterated from a blast that sent debris and a shock wave throughout the entire neighborhood. >> i woke up to a huge boom. >> i looked out the window. and my neighborhood exploded. >> reporter: the call originally came in at 1:00 in the morning after someone reported smelling natural gas. firefighters responded and searching for the leak before the explosion so powerful it registered as an earthquake. the blast caught on this store surveillance video. >> this is a very dangerous job. >> reporter: each year natural gas explosions wreak havoc. in new jersey an explosion levelled this home and injured 15. in 2014, another explosion in harlem killed eight and injured

that's your morning dish of "scrambled politics." all right. delving into now another post debate morning, in washington, i'm joined by roll call columnist and author of hrc, you have both hillary clinton and bernie sanders going big on immigration. clinton breaking from obama and we see every chance -- many, many chances of bernie sanders kind of challenging her record and then the back and forth that happened there. who is going to pay off the most when it comes to florida? >> well, i think if you look at polls right now, hillary clinton is up pretty big, as much as 25 points. that said she was also up as much as 25 points in michigan. which she just lost. i think what we're seeing right now is bernie sanders understanding that his path to the victory, the number of delegates he needs to win between now and the democratic nomination is as he would say huge. and in order to do that, he's

going to sort of full attack on hillary clinton. it's interesting, it's a very different bernie sanders than the one that started the campaign, talking about how he'd never run a negative ad. now you're seeing the contrast efforts in the debate and hillary clinton is responding in kind. we saw her talk about his kind remarks in the past for fidel castro. it was a huge issue in florida among the cuban community there. american community. >> right off the bat, you can't help but notice when hillary clinton was asked if she was going to be indicted about the whole e-mail thing, she was going to drop out, she was like, no no, that's not going to happen. i'm not going to answer that. but there was a moment she showed some humility and vulnerability. you know, do you think that will work in her gaver? >> i do. i think it's something that people forget about her. they expect her to be as charismatic as her husband and barack obama. i think those are high bars to
