officers and disregard of rules and regulations. >> throughout the day he's not a problem. if he feels like he wants to move some where or something is annoying him that's when he acts out. >> he has potentially clog the t toilets and flushing it until it gets full. >> i flooded it again. >> elijah broken several fire sprinkler heads in the cell. of course, once he breaks it, it creates a lot of problems for us because we have to go upstairs to shave the water system down. >> i stop asking sergeant, i just flood and they have to come. >> that's his way of manipulating the system to get what he wants. he wants 15 blankets and three

stand up by themselves just to be seen by my peers. >> sanders was arrested on charges of armed robbery and aggravated assault. sanders was staying with one of the suspects when police raided the home and arrested them both. >> i guess they found the gun in the house. i told them truth. yeah, i knew about guns, i like guns. i have a fetish on it. what about this gun right here. they never showed me about it. yeah, i know about a gun like that. did you touch it? yeah, i touched many guns. just by touching it and i got in this situation. they say the truth set you free well -- not in cheetum county.

he just been moved from the segregation unit to the disciplinary unit, unit 2 d for repeating the cell by stopping up his toilet. it all started with a simple request to change cells. >> i was around the tv and i don't like sports and they leave it on all night and it would be too loud and disturb my sleep so i asked to be moved. >> we relocate him up to room 29 which is the furthest point from the tv. elijah, when i came in and brought up that, he did not want to be in there because it was too noisy. >> once they moved me from downstairs, it was not too loud, it was actually okay. the room was nasty and i did not get a chance to clean and i had hair all over the room so i asked them to move. they would not move me.

>> javier wants what he wants and he makes it impossible. yeah, i want to move now. you cannot be moved right now. if he has a need or concern, we try to address it. if he wants to be moved right now, not right now mr. elijah. we explain it to him on certain terms and he's going to act out. >> and i said well, okay. we'll see to that. i took my sock and i put it in the toilet and i flood it. >> he did more than flooding his cell, he removed the portion in the sink and put it in the sock to be a weapon. his intended target was corporal key. >> why did you want to hurt him? >> he lied to me. he lies too much. he don't deserve to be a corporal and i don't like his ass. >> he put a piece of metal pipe,

he had intended for me. evidently, i was ironing his frustration and anger that day. all depends on who's giving him the attention that he feels that he needs it. it will be somebody else next week perhaps. >> do you consider yourself to be a dangerous person or inmate? >> no, i won't hurt a fly. >> i hurt him because he pissed me off. only if he made me mad. >> i was just aggravated. >> you are not going to hit him? >> but, i got what i wanted, they brought me over here. >> elijah received 15 days of disciplinary lockdown and loss of privileges. he will receive one hour out of his cell for days.

on any given day, there are around 5000 inmates and the jail relies on a select group with them to help get the facility running. non violent inmates with good behaviors becoming trustees and working in a variety of roles including barbers and cooks and janitors. ? we get up so early. >> keeping you being locked up all day. that's what i like about it. >> while the trustees say they like to work, not all the jobs

are pleasant. >> cleaning somebody else's urine and stuff. justin is here to clean water off the floors of the section of the jail known as the bubble. the inmate causing the flood is a familiar face to the clean up face. elijah intentionally floods his toilet and the water fills the cell adjacent to his. officers decided to keep elijah in the cell and make him mop up the water himself. if somebody else does everything for them, they have nothing to

lose. we decided to give him the mop and work with it that way. >> he mops and pushes the door up. >> elijah says he flooded his cell this time because he was upset with the inmates next to it. >> i am all with that problem. that boy calls me too many [ bleep ] and he threatened me. i am going to beat his ass. >> who? >> the alien mixed up. >> the inmate next to elijah has mental health issues and was placed in the bubble because he's been known to cause disruption. >> you can see he yelled elijah. you can see out the window, he will be yelling at everybody. we keep him confined he wakes up

every morning at 2:00. i asked him to be quiet because i may wake up. come on, be quiet. go to sleep, [ bleep ] okay. i cannot get to sleep. now, they got my water cut-off. your water need to be cut-off, too so you are going to smell your own piss too so i got to smell mine [ bleep ]. we took the sock because he likes to flood it. if we have a complaint about anything being nasty, it could not have been that bad because he stuck his arm down the toilet trying to flush it. >> i still didn't finish because i want to beat him up.

>> sergeant says he does not take elijah's threat seriously, he does a lot for show. he talks a lot. it is more of a show and he wants to be in a spotlight >> well, he's probably bored. if you are sitting at 24 hours a day so excitement to make time flies. he causes a problem, three or four hours a day doing this. i can understand him causing the problem killing time in jail. >> we are not here to punish him for the charges. we want to make sure we talk to him and some of them want to find out if they are close to and the respect and trying to listen to him and that's what i try to do. >> sergeant don's efforts are appreciated. >> if he were to say that earlier, we would have a deal.

>> well, he does not have anything to do right now, it is the weekend. it is the weekend. they ain't got to do anything. they don't have to pass out three meals a day, they sit on their ass and talk so he got nothing to do for the weekend. >> i cleaned it up today. >> he's been a victim since a young kid, this is all he knows. there are some that you cannot cure and it is apart of our job. >> elijah is waiting to be transferred to prison to serve his six years in prison.

staffs are doing everything they can to expedite the process to get elijah off the jail. ? it is a good talk to get him out of here. we spoke to his attorney and he's done with his charges here, we got to get them to pick him up. >> you are trying to get him out of the jail. >> yes, i will do anything i can for these guys. >> so they get me away from here, i am going to keep doing it anyway. >> i am going to keep getting them restrained and they can leave me it in or keep me in it. ♪
