of the vast majority will only make the problem worse. he does not mention donald trump by name. this is a difficult moment for biden himself, obviously, he in my ways believe that he would follow president obama's footsteps and he's supporting hillary clinton in some way, it is difficult for him that way. he and president obama is on the same page in defeating donald trump and you will see more of that today. >> all right, katy hunt, thank you very much for that report and your whispering. great job. lets turn now to the vice president. >> by a long shot and the regional world to be the dominate, political, economic and military force of a better part of this next century. the choice the president and i made over the half seven and a half years, they have been choices that required very

failed states,a whole range of things you have heard about and talked about. with a smart sustained stead american leadership, we can seize the american opportunity that are existing and leave a more peaceful prosperous future to our children and grandchildren. i really truly believe that. if we turn inward and undermine our most important relationships or seek sound bite solutions to -- defined by complexity, issues defined by complexities, if we forget who we are and begin to betray our values and embrace intolerance i think we'll squander our hard-earned progress and opportunities that exist for us today. today, i'd like to take a little bit of time to describe the world from where i sit 100 feet from the oval office and the stakes of the choices that lie

ahead. let me start by making a couple things clear. one, the world in which we live today is casualably more complex and interconnected than a quarter century ago when the cold war ended to state the obvious. it is arguably more complex than 15 years ago, after 9/11. at the same time, despite the complexities and proliferation and new challenges by almost any measure the united states is stronger and more secure today than when president obama and i took office january 20th, 2009. we steered the economy in collapse to an arduous recovery and poised for a significant recovery. we're on the verge of again resurgence if we seize the moment. we remain the world's leading economic power and we will for some time.

the next president has tremendous opportunity to finish what was started, to amp up our rate of economic growth and bring economic resurgence home to americans all across the nation. we know how to grow the economy, we've done it before. invest in education, job training, snr. -- infrastructure. it's not magic. it used to be bipartisan c consensus on those things. joe, did you ever think you'd see a day republicans opposed infrastructure, modernization. we're ranked 27th in the world in infrastructure, united states of america. you want to see the eighth wonder of the world, go down and see the two locks on the panama canal yet there's only three ports from the gulf to maine that can accommodate these new super panamamax ships. but a track economy, i'll never insurgent i've been around so
