2:01 am
phelps. it's 5:00 a.m. on the east coast, 2:00 a.m. out west. this is "way too early." good morning, everybody, it's friday, august 12th. donald trump was loud and clear about his message yesterday insisting over and over again that president obama is one of the founders of isis. and not just in a figurative sense. >> last night you said the president was the founder of isis. i know what you meant. you meant that he created the vacuum, he lost the peace -- >> no, i meant he's the founder of isis. i do. he was the most valuable player. i give him the most valuable player award. i give her, too kshs >> but he's not sympathetic to them. he hates them -- >> he was the founder. the way he got out of iraq, that was the founding of isis. >> well that -- >> i call president obama and hillary clinton the founders of isis. they're the founders.
2:02 am
in fact, i think we'll give hillary clinton, you know, if you're a sports team, most valuable player. mvp, you get the mvp award. isis will hand her the most valuable player award. her only competition is barack obama. between the two of them. oh, boy is isis hoping for her. >> they just sat back and waited. and when we left, basically, isis was formed. and he calls it isil. and the reason he calls it isil is he likes to bother everybody. he's like the only one still calling it isil. but isis was formed. and -- >> aren't those statements inflammatory when you say something like that? >> i tell the truth. i tell the truth. actually a lot of people like that i said it. he is the founder of isis. and hillary clinton is right there with him. the president has been trying to play down isis like it's not that big of a deal. like they're not as powerful.
2:03 am
we should knock them out. we should knock the hell out of them. he's not willing to do that. as far as i'm concerned and i'll say it to anybody that wants to listen, he is a founder of isis. they must love him. because without him you wouldn't have the threat, the horrible situation going on around the world if he would have kept a relatively small force, he probably could have prevented isis from forming. okay? and now you look at what's going on with isis where they're spreading. and they're probably spreading into our country. when we allow that many people to come in from that region. they're probably spreading into our country. >> well, hillary clinton responded to trump's statements yesterday, quote, it can be difficult to muster outrage as frequently as donald trump should cause it but his smear against president obama requires it. no. barack obama is not the founder of isis.

0.4%. plus 0.5%. which would be down just a tad from the 0.6% reading that we saw during the month of june, and while we're on the retail sales just to mention, macy's and kohl's up by 16% on the close yesterday after they both beat expectations that their numbers, watch nordstrom today open up by 11% excuse me 11% jump in after-hours trade yesterday after sales fell by less than expected. let's also mention allybaba. this is an interesting one the chinese e-commerce group posting their best revenue growth since they listed back in 2014. shares bumped by more than 5% the highest level in the year seen there. they're making quite a lot of money outside of e-commerce and that's something a lot of people are looking a lot closer at. have a fantastic weekend. >> happy friday to you louisa. still ahead olympic swimmer simone manuel makes history on an unforgettable night for american swimmers and gymnasts. plus it seemed to only be a
