the accusations of mental stability with the president and fitness all around. we heard it from democrats, fellow republican bob corker as well. is there sort of a growing movement or growing force in washington or is it sort of largely being written off. his mental stability? >> i think you're going to see more calls for a psychiatric elevati evaluation of trump. if there's a democratic wave in november, then this could be a big issue. you've already had a psychiatrist brief a number of democrats and even a republican senator on trump's mental health. and i think a lot of people view what's in the book and they say this raises real alarm bells.

nothing new. trump and his supporters have been talking about the clinton foundation for years. nothing has been proved on that front. what you'll see is the fbi will look at this closely. tl but unless there's evidence that comes to light, quietly wind down this investigation after they've done the interviews. if they prosecute the clinton foundation, say they're using the justice department and fbi for political purposes to bury a rival. >> let me ask you how this is being perceived by the hill and by people around the hill given the fact you have so many senators that are weighing in on what the fbi and the doj should be doing. they're weighing in on the russia probe. is this distracting congress from congress actually getting any legislation done? i think even if there were no

nations have sat down face to face. those were much lower level discussions back then. is there a lot of hope riding on this? >> i think there is some hope. this is a very narrow, narrow window of opportunity. two years ago were the last talks. we had decades of failed talks or no talks. there's an ocean of mistrust between the two sides. so, these talks will proceed very, very carefully, indeed. and, in fact, they're choreographed. tomorrow morning at exactly 9:30, the five north korean delegates will cross into the demilitarized zone at exactly 10:00 in what they call the peace house. those delegates from north and south, five on each side, will begin their talks. incidentally, about 100 yards from where that north korean soldier sprinted across the border in november to defect.

now, we know what the agenda is going to be as well. it's the olympic games next month in south korea. north korea would like to send a delegation, would like to send athletes. but behind that, there's a broader agenda of interkorean relations. the south korean delegation leader said today he would like to see better relations. he would like to see, for example, humanitarian moves. so, behind the pretext of sport, there's the deeper issue of politics. president trump is saying the talks are good. he's behind them 100%. to go back to your question, ayman, people here, yeah, they're hopeful, but they're also very, very skeptical. as i say, there's a history of failure here. and they really do mistrust kim jong-un's motives. do they want to drive a wedge between south korea and the u.s.? what's he up to? great promise, great hope but great risk, too. back to you guys.
