9:06 am
those are first-time a democrat won that state as president, in a long time. this is still a purple state, even sort of teetering on the verge of a red state, but here's a couple things that we're seeing, alex which really make a difference in the race. number one, raphael warnock, reverend warnock, he's run incredible campaign. he just raised $26 million of the third quarter, which is an astronomical nominee. he's been very disciplined and his messaging. and also of course you're seeing herschel walker employed more every single, day as the story unravels, and becomes even more out of control than it was the day before. and when you're looking at the key deciding factors in this race, we should be suburban women in independents moderate republicans, this is not voting well for herschel walker. we also have to keep in mind, alex, as close as this race is going to be, if either candidates has not received 50%, it goes into a runoff which looks like december six. and so we may not know, regardless of what happens or the next few days who wins until december six.

issues that matter to voters outside of just the personal things that many of the republican candidates are dealing with because clearly some swing voters are saying that they don't really care, because if it did, alex, i'll give you the last word, but do democrats need to get smarter to shermichael's point? >> i think democrats are running the race that. we want to be strong -- to run, on he's accomplish more than 20 months of his presidency since fdr. we've accomplished for major economic, bills what those bills do in the campaign, trail and we're drawing a contrast with the and actress from republicans and we have rubbing overturn on top of, that and it could play it's a camp plea different dynamic compared to what we are expecting. and i think that we will mitigate our losses in the midterms, i don't know if that means that we hold on to the house or, not but i do not think that this, for lack of a term, the bloodbath in 2014 when democrats had a really bad here and this house and senate. >> real quick, gotta run.
