there's a signal to you that charges are on the horizon >> yes, it definitely does i don't think trump will g testify. he does not even provide emails, he will certainly not go to grand jury and start talking i do not expect him to come. i think brad will go o television i don't think that is proper i think you should stay in his office and work, but it does seem to me that and indictment there is imminent. there is a confluence of all these events is overwhelming right now. we have an indictment that may be coming out of new york. we have an indictment in fulto county that looks like it is coming we have to each eco case to be tried in april, and we have th dominion suit which has a lo to do with trump and lies. it's an amazing legal avalanch on the shoulders of trump righ this minute. >> molly, we heard a familia refrain from donald trump, thi

time on truth social, claiming he did nothing wrong and the night he ever had an affai with stormy daniels. as i mentioned, he's now calle his lawyers down to florida to talk about possible lega strategies do you think the ex presiden is scared of where this coul be heading >> you know, i think it woul be reasonable to be scared o this because it's a lot of stuff. it's a bunch of different lega cases are coming to soon, and think there are a lot of legal implications that we have no even talked about what's happening with the documents case at the doj. i do think that there is a lot he has a lot of legal exposure and civil exposure which could -- but i don't think that it will hurt him i honestly think that his base is so dug into i don't think i will matter. he will say that this is the dna from new york, which is blue state, and these people

this is political, and it ha nothing to do what wha happened remember, he has done this stormy daniels dance before. he has every different defense and he will say it never happened you will remember the most recent stuff that he is th nine now i don't think it necessarily matters. i think his base is so dug in, that they will go along with anything >> cynthia, even if trump is indicted, convicting him o sending him to prison will b challenging for the a bragg. explain to us why this case is rather unique? >> well, first i would say i that probably to me, the mos important aspect of the case would be jury selection, because as molly says, as much about trump and even about - is baked in. people have their opinions and won't change picking a jury will be critical the case has problems.

michael cohen, who is the lead witness, is a liar he's a convicted liar. his book is titled revenge if you can't cross examine michael cohen on trump, yo don't belong in this business. that's a problem there are legal issues the case, you could say is fundamentally a misdemeanor, which could be increased to felony, depending on the way that is planned or properl played that is also a legal challenge it's a difficult position, and that is why i think a lot of legal observers, frankly, woul prefer the gravel meant of trump's this loyalty to th country by trying to overtur the election and the jack smit case and then using th department of justice. that is really what he did tha is a terrible, right that is the thing. he tried to overturn our

not only the criminal cases bu the civil cases. let's say that you are a juror in the e g carroll case. and you've been chosen your inundated with messages right now about trump and this woman and lying and paying off people that impacts you it may impact the dominion vote everything is interrelated wit trump, but much of it, as my sense is baked in, so that i why i want to highlight th jury selection, because people make a decision -- have made their mind up abou trump. you don't know anybody who i like, i don't know, i had no decided yet. either you hate the guy or you love the guy that is just where we are as a country, so jury selection wil be really important and all th messages that are coming in, continue to reinforce what you think about trump. >> molly, your back. it was just last week that

state of texas after being denied abortions despite serious risks to their health. they are asking the court to clarify under which conditions abortions are allowed and to affirm the exceptions. the abortion ban does allow fo exceptions when a physicia determines there is substantial harm to a pregnant woman. but the law is so vague that i has doctors scared fro offering care in these dir situations so much so that all five women who were part of this lawsui had to leave the state for waiting until they wer seriously ill to be treated. that included the plaintiff wh was forced to fly to texas t colorado to receive an abortio after her water broke. after just 19 weeks. >> people who think overturnin roe will not affect them eithe because they cannot ge pregnant or would never choose an abortion need to know wha is going on because of these lies believe me, you never know whe you, or someone you love wil need one

years in medical school, fellowship to do when we think about what i means to access reproductive health care in this country an what folks with the capacity for pregnancy in texas are facing we know that it is just the tip of the iceberg and w will continue to see these cases spread out around th country as the attacks on ou health, our rights, our agency our autonomy continue. and it is dangerous. it is not just inconvenient to have to travel where many people traveling is dangerous. accessing care in the communit is unsafe. >> in another lawsuit out of texas, a man is suing thre women under the state' wrongful death statute for allegedly helping his no ex-wife attainable russian pills. what do you make of this lawsuit? >> this is what they originall

wanted this idea that you could the go after women who were just trying to deal with their ow medical situations and you could then to the people this is really appalling i think it is important to realize that a lot of thes statutes were not written to ever be enacted. they were just written in this very vague way but then when they got past, because people were no interested in making sure that women's lives are protected. and if you look back on roe v. wade, you can see that it wa decided so broadly because doctors were truly afraid to treat women. and we had these women who are not able to get treatment. treatment can mean all sorts o things this really does targe pregnant women because if you have miscarriage or you nee treatment you cannot get it in the states with abortion bans. >> we are also still waiting for a court decision out o

many of the communities that w care for well i understand the intentio behind governor newsom's actio and certainly support it, for lot of reasons, i think it i also important to understand that when we eliminate acces in pharmacy is whether it is because of a decision that a state by california has made o a decision that the individual pharmacies made not to serve our communities, the folks tha suffer are not people who ca just travel to different neighborhoods and pick up thei medications. it is a really big deal not to carry medications and not to have access in your ow neighborhood we know the folks that are mor likely to be impacted by these restrictions whether it is the fda ruling, or the lawsuits in texas, they are people who are already marginalized from care so when we do not have pharmacies and our community center providing the same care that folks get in othe neighborhoods, in other states

valley bank was an institution in the tech world. it was the go-to leader fo start-ups, and one of th country's top 20 banks wit more than 200 billion dollar and assets but after a panicked 48 hour it was shot down, and th biggest banking failure sinc the 2008 financial crisis, and the second largest in u.s. history. joining me now, to explain all of this has been ben white chief economic correspondent for politico, and the cnbc contributor. thank you for joining us this was a rapid downwar spiral that certainly has a lo of people thinking back on 2008, tell us what happened in those 48 hours >> yeah, it is so good to be with you, thank you for having me it was an old-fashioned bank run in which wealthy depositor here, this is as we mentioned,

silicon valley executives, folks with a lot of assets and the bank, over 250, 000, on th insurance. the bank itself ha unfortunately funded itself, particularly a lot of th deposits, and bought assets. i don't want to get to complicated for viewers in the weeds of this, but they bought a lot of them. the offense started raisin interest rates at which caused the value of their bonds to go down, because people do no want to buy bonds with highe rates. all of a sudden people got win of that, thought the money was in danger, and they started to dig it out once that started, and rumor started flying on twitter an elsewhere, this is very high tech, they all rush to get money out. by that time, the bank was unstoppable and the fbi had to step in, take it over, cut the losses, and figure out what to do next. the problem really lies in the nature of the assets i don't know why they did it

why they had all of these bond to start raising interest rates, but they had capital, a bi loss, everybody panicked and that was the end of it >> another part of thi equation is who the customer of this particular bank were it didn't look like any bank - silicon valley bank, how hig number of start of clients but our market's going to view silicon valley bank as jus representative of silico valley overall what do you see as the wider impact here? >> well, hopefully the wider impact is limited by the fac that it has now been taken over, and my assessment is probabl that in the receiver process another bank will see th assets and everyone will b made aware i think it does not look great for silicon valley in general. i don't think it calls int question some of the more soli

start-ups, and they will still get money, and get investors and may bring in the questio as crypto did in the crush o crypto whether there is to much floating around two great companies, and the great offset. we have had some of it in th crypto space we will see more of it but i don't think that i really gained that much over all for the banking industry frankly. this has been an orderly process now. people under two and 50,000 ge all of their money back. i guess that it is over that amount, we will eventually get their money back and prior t the federal bailout. right now it is bad, and there should be more regulator oversight. but it is not catastrophic o systemic at this point >> the 30 seconds that i hav left, investors like mark cuba are now calling on the federal reserve that date will step in and buy the debt is that realistic? >> no. it is not realistic or a goo
