starting first in alabama, i'm still waiting for more information about a potentia suspect. but when we know so far? >> we have new details in th past hour here we learned from authoritie this morning that four peopl were killed in last night' shooting we just heard in the past hour or so from the lake martin hospital that tells nbc news that 1 victims were transported t their hospital they see some of those victims were transported to othe hospitals, or transferred to other hospitals. but they say currently, four are stable and five ar high-risk. we have a number right now four people killed, at least 1 wounded in last night' shooting that happened at sweet 16 birthday party. one of our producers on th ground talk to the dj at the party. who described the scene as chaos, saying that after the shots rang out that he hid under a table with five people trying to shield them and tell the shooting stopped i want you to listen to what w heard from high school coach

no active threat to th community at this point. we often know that the investigations describing is gonna be long, complicated, we know that both local law enforcement, the county, and state and even federal law enforcements are involved in this investigation and we heard this afternoo from the white house, that president biden has been briefed on the situation and is offering federa assistance to th investigation. >> we're following alabama also watching kentucky as well we also have no informatio there on who was responsible what are we learning >>, right still no idea on who is responsible, the headline there is that two people wer killed, at least five people were injured in that shooting. officials there saying that it happened at about 9:30 las night. in louisville,, kentucky apparently people at least someone or multiple people they don't know how many peopl were involved.

when congress returns tomorrow much of the attention to b focused on a few blocks from the capital, supreme court which late friday temporaril paused a court order that woul have limited the use of th most common abortion drug, mifepristone that was the same day nearly every congressional democrat urged the supreme court to block all restrictions to th medication nbc's julie tsirkin, is joinin us from capitol hill for mor on this. julie, what's the reaction specifically from democrats to friday's decision? from the supreme court >> most democrats signed on to that because there are som notable exceptions that includ senator, joe manchin for example.
