troops had no idea that sinwar was at the location, his body discovered today and later identified using dna tests and dental records. today in a stunning announcement israeli military confirmed it had killed the political and military leader of hamas, sinwar, his death marks a major inflection point between the war between israel and hamas which over a year has killed 42,000 people in gaza. while nearly 100 hostages remain captive. today, some of the families took to the streets in israel to demand benjamin netanyahu has a seize fire deal. hours ago, vice president harris expressed optimism that sinwar's death might do just that. israel has a right to defend itself. the threat hamas poses to israel must be eliminated. today, there is clear progress
