i mean this is the goal, this is the uh um uh position of the palestinian resistance that they're not looking uh you know to uh have some type of peace treaty or come down to some type of agreement or or or or try to get recognized you know as as to get a palestinian state uh you know by the united nations or by the israeli regime itself they are looking to liberate the land so this will have to uh be deal with by uh forceful armed and unified resistance so it's going to be very normalized they they were looking to uh normalize their occupation and enforce that on all regional countries and uh they were successful to a certain level obviously with with puppet regimes and weak regimes obviously these are all crumbling regimes as well because all the ones that normalize obviously are just uh hanging to power,

they're trying to get power right, and thinking that israel is a strong regime, but today we see that the israeli regime is very weak, and now all these regimes that have went towards normalization will hopefully realize that uh, this was the wrong move, because you're actually normalizing and you're becoming friends with a regime that's about to collapse, it's about to fall down, it's about to be dismantaled, so it's got to be normalized now for them and and uh we're not going to accept the victim card when they go out and say you guys, you palestinians have killed innocent people and you guys have uh you know uh murdered women and this and that obviously uh you know the resistance in palestine is not intending to hit women and kids but this happens because you know it's part of war when you when you launch a missile and it hits a certain area um you know you're going to endfully have some collateral damage and some losses mean it's not their intention to hit children or women

or schools and things like that, and at the same time, let's not forget that the palestinians don't have uh smart bombs and very precise bombs, i mean, maybe they have got to level where they have some type of good warfare and good uh technology, but you know their country is blockaded and it's occupied so it's very difficult to get all these weapons inside right, they have to um reach out to other countries such as the islamic republic of iran and other countries that are supporting them uh that are obviously against normalization to get some assistance to get logistical support, to get coordination and uh things like that, i mean it's not like an open uh port and uh airline of like the israelis where they get weapons from the whole world, including canada and all these countries and it's unlimited and it's very open right, so uh they're doing what they can within the capabilities, the resistance and uh and their capacities and and and what they can what what they can uh like uh sufficiently kind of build inside their system here while it's blockaded. but

uh the israelies need to understand that this is going to be normalized uh the losses of lives of the designs and the losses of also settlements that they've been occupy and stealing for a long time they better get used to it and it's better for them to get used to it so uh they they can feel more comfortable another thing is they don't get shocked and surprised and you know living in a very traumatic way another thing is that the resistance in the region not forget on the borders with nort palestine is hizbullah in lebanon, and this resistance has been preparing since its foundation for the liberation of palestine, and they are very strong, very unified and under a wise leadership, and they also have lots of experience because they have been fighting terrorists in many parts of the world, including syria, including iraq, they've been fighting years and they have lot of experience and lot of strength, morally.

hello and welcome to press tv spotlight, i'm marsia hashimi, thanks so much for being with us, a historic day in palestinian history, and a day of shock and off for the israeli regime has been witnessed on. saturday with operation al-gud's floodd. palestinian resistance fighters attacked the israeli regime from the air, land and sea, and for the first time since the 1948 occupation of... palestine, land has been liberated by palestinian forces. towns have been retaken and israeli military bases now in the control of resistance fighters. we will be analyzing the significance of this major intelligence failure for the israeli regime and what may be next on the spotlight. but first uh we're going to cross over to gaza and talk to press tvs ashraf shanon to bring us up today and all the latest ashraf tell us what's going on there. well marz israele regime forces continue to commit crimes against

palestinians in gaza, so far they they bombed and destroyed a 14 story apartment, building displacing over 100 families and they also bombed the seven uh residential uh structures throughout the gaza strip, including one in the southern gaza strip town of raffa. where at least three people were killed and according to the ministry of interior and the emergency uh response teams, they're still uh digging the bodies of of of women and children and looking for survivals, survivors under that building in the southern ghaza strip town of rafah that was bombed by israeli uh fighter jets uh another uh apartment was uh bombed in the south of of gaza city in a telah neighborhood, another

one in uh zetoon neighborhood, the last tally by the palestinian ministry of health was 232 marchers in gaza, this is not including the victims of just mentioned, so the number of of palestinian fatalities possibly risen to 250 by now, and the injuries over ' 1800, this is happening while hospitals in gaza already suffer from lack of medicines and hospitals supplies and surgical supplies because of the ongoing israeli blockade in place since 2007 and the repeated israeli wars and military aggressions uh over the year and and yes this is a historic day for for palestinians and historic day for all uh for all muslims. with the with the uh with the fact that uh hundreds or hundreds of

resistance fighters from this small territory, the ghaza strip 360 square kilometers under blockade under siege by israeli regime since 2007 managed to uh to break into the security fence, the so-called borders east of the ghaza strip uh take control of at least seven israeli settlements there. fight against israeli soldiers, kill israeli soldiers, capture israel soldiers and we've been learning that some uh that the the the fatalities within the israeli regime, and this is according to the israeli media has jumped over 250 fatalities since the uh since the hours since the early hours of of this morning right uh to remind the viewers around

camp, and we have said this many times in your program. that this is coming, we're not surprised that this is an offensive tactical measures that the resistance have taken and it is been coordinated completely with all of the allies of the on the resistance. we see in the last few years how israel have been committing its crimes against our people in jerusalem against the aqsa, mask the theft of palestinian. land uh having all these gangs and paramilitary settlers in the west bank brutal attacks a daily basis against political prisoners over 5000 palestinian political prisoners are in israeli jails, some of them have spent over 30, five years and they are going through you know illness

and cancers and israel will refuse even release them or and practice medical neglection, palestinian children are being in prison, palestinian camps and villages have been under daily attacks in the west bank, so this is an offensive uh palestinian and tactical offensive measure that in one hand, it is an initiative by the palestinian resistance, but also it is a response to israeli crimes. well, moson, as i mentioned, this operation has been a complete intelligence failure uh for the israeli regime. i like to hear your analysis of this and this total breakdown, this regime that is - funded billions and billions of dollars, not only from the united states, but other western regimes and have the latest as far as technologically and militarily um against

these as you call them basically gorilla forces, i mean let's talk about that side of things. yes, so the israeli intelligence has has absolutely failed, there is absolutely no. out about that, and this is obviously not the first time that we've seen the israeli regime failing. i think israel has lot on his hands, they were warned during ramadan when they when they attacked masjid aqsa under the commands of ben gavir, they were warned then that there will be retaliation, and then when in west bank we see that shahied, hero, there was an attack in which 50 innocent. were killed, um, it is, i would be surprised if israel wasn't aware that there will be a retaliation, so i'm sure that they were

preparing for a retaliation in my opinion, but they weren't expecting the magnitude of this retaliation to be to the extent that it was, that they will cross borders enter occupied israel, that they will be, that there will be a gorilla warfare happening in seven cities in occupied palestine, which three of them have already been captured. by the resistance forces and also constantly and continuously netan yahu ben gave's government, they have unfortunately they have, well fortunately for us, they have, they're not taking this resistance in west bank seriously, the resistance in west bank has truly paved way for hammas to take the steps that they are taking, there is support from islamic jihad now as well, as it's already been mentioned that... islamic jihad resistance fighters have now joined the al-qassam brigade and they are at the borders fighting hand in hand, these are unprecedented events that we had not seen before. as far as the intelligency is

concerned, it is surprising and shocking that 7000 missiles are fired upon israel. gaza is a small, it's it's almost a refugee camp, it's a small city and for israel not to be able to locate these these missiles. the the system of gorilla warfare that has been created by the likes of shahied qasim sulaymani and by the likes of shahid mad, it has proven to be successful in lebanon, it has proven to be successful in syria, in iraq and now it will prove to be successful in in occupied palestine as well, i mean the us empire intelligentia has failed, israel's intelligentia has miserably failed the... west has miserably failed to support its puppet israel in the region of west asia, and truly there is absolutely no doubt in the fact that not only militarily, but

diplomatically as well, israel is on the verge of of decline, and we truly hope that as rebeber few years mentioned that israel has no more than 25 years to which said that maybe even less than 25 years we see that prediction coming to fruition very soon, sooner than we had expected. khalid, now that the vulnerability of the regime has been exposed more so, uh, do you think this provides more motivation for resistance fighters uh to continue um with this fight, even more aggressive against the regime, and they can see or they feel that victory is possible, yes and what israel is trying to do now is to collect casualties as much as they can by killing palestinian civilians and destroying houses and towers in gazza and

just trying to cover their failures and their losses, but what is important to understand is that palestinian people understand this brutal enemy very well, we have been fighting the zionist regime for over 120 years and we understand their mentality, now israel is in crisis, internal crisis, israel also is facing very strong and mounting resistance in the west bank, also it does not have any kind of a strategic deps in the region as netanyahu and bingever and these people were trying to celebrate the so-called normalization victories with some of the arab regimes, we understand that these regimes have these relationship with israel for decades, it is just being now public and on

the... and it's mounting to an alliance between some of these regimes and israel, the people of the region in the arab world in west asia are seeing the palestinian resistance as the forefront of their own resistance against imperialism, colonization and brutal regime, and there is a rise in people voices, people ability to fight back, people want to protect their wealth and resources and they want to protect their future. if you look for example at the wars of aggressions and economic wars that the us and western powers are trying to impose on yamen, lebanon, iran, syria, palestine, and it is always targeting people who have rejected these germany and wanted to bring the people of the region into their nees and

submission, and this is... going to happen, so the balance of power is changing in the region and it is changing worldwide, and us today is retreating, it is very similar to the 50s when the british and the french empires were collapsing, today we are witnessing a us also, are not you know focusing on the region as much as they are focusing on ukraine and the situation that is developing in europe. and so palestinian people and the palestinian resistance are united today in their front and this is very important because for the past 30 years they're trying to sell these illusions of the so-called peace process and palestinian people have realized that this is nothing but a cover up to steal their land to liquidate their rights to in their resistance and at the same time impos a brutal.
