place in gaza where over 4700 people have been killed by the israeli regime with 1800 of them being kids, how many dead palestinians are enough for the zionist regime in gaza as day 16 comes and goes. well, i'd like to welcome my guests to the program. out of london, sami rama gandhi. academic and writer and out of tripoly uh libyaan academic and journalist mustafa faturi. thank you both for being with me. i'd like to start this off in london and sami. um, the zionist regime is completely acting of like a mad dog out of control in gaza. what do you think its ultimate goal with this war on the people of gaza is? genocidal war against the palestinian people has to be viewed within a historic sense, which is that the zianist regime has been trying to expel the palestinian people from their homeland for the past 75 years. they have already expelled millions of palestinians by force from their homeland over the many decades and they are trying to do the same in gaza, their objective." is to drive out the palestinian people, and in the meantime, the only way they think they could achieve it is by killing as many people as possible, as you pointed out, over the half the population of gaza are actually children, over a thousand children have already died in this vicious bombardment using the latest weapons supplied by washington and other western allies. it is truly genocidal war and

the world has to act, has to try and force israel to stop this genocide. uh, well mustafa, samy talked about the genocidal war taking place in gaza, but it's not just gaza, i mean if we look at what is happening on the west bank right now, we're looking at 90 people have been killed since october the 7th, um, the oppression is continuing, attacks are continuing, and on saturday alone 41 palestinians were injured and today two others were killed, and so let's look at this side of things, because in gaza they talk about hamas and here on the west bank, i mean, what is the regime trying to do there? well, thank you for having me and thank you for coming, it's it's it's it's actually part of the same story as um. my colleague sammi

mentioned, it's the attempt of the israeli regime to break down the palestinian resistance the first of all and second to banish any resistance movement inside palestine or outside palestine from ever ever again thinking about resisting the occupation or attacking what they call israel the land that's occupied 1948 when the israeli entity was created first and their most of all of course to kill as many palestinians as of possible, and as you have mentioned, there is no hamas in the west bank, there is no music festival over there, and there is no, you know, nobody actually is doing anything to the israelis and they they are, they have free. and to go and come whenever they want

and the rest people and demolish buildings and just today they bombed two mosks i believe in in the west bank especially in the jen. refuge camp, so the the idea is is is always the same, regardless if there is hamas here or there or islamic jihad here or there or any other group, it's it's the same policy, genicidal policy to kill as many palestinians as possible, and if we recall in the first day in the seventh of october when hamas successfully attacked inside israel itself. uh the spokesperson of the israeli army specific when he asked about the possibility of mounting the billion casualties in gaza, he said it's not about the casualties, it's about it's not about the

precision, it's about the damage, how much damage we can do, and since the war has been declared in gaza, if we notice there has been no specific goal or objective of this war other than wiping out hamas, but practically, in in terms of military practices and terms of military operations, what does wiping out a ghost army, hamas does not have military installation, does not have baracks, does not have radiar stations, does not have surveillance, electronic surveillance equipments to be hacked, does not have tank, italians does not have control rooms where top leaders can control and direct the army or the viter is in in the metal doesn't have any naval installation does not have any air bases so what does exactly mean wiping out

hamas i-e it's actually means wiping out as many palestinians as possible and pushing them if possible out of gaza all together. well, sam, you heard the point that mostafa uh just may wiping out as many palestinis as possible, because when you're talking about uh resistance, they're trying to, as they say, um, wipe out hamas, but when you're talking about uh, an occupied or in this situation, genocide is being uh, against these people in gaza, of course they have the right to resist, and can you ever wipe out a resistance? when resistance comes from the people as a natural response to the oppression that they are enduring. i think you make a good point. this is the lesson of history, not just in palestine, but across the world, wherever there were occupations,

extreme forms of oppression, wars of genocide, they have always ended in the occupied people and the people - the subject of extreme oppression of rising up and the aggressors, the occupiers being defeated eventually, and israel hopes by displacing the palestinian people, they can change this historical trend and achieve what they want, but i assure you, there is no way on earth that israel can, this israeli regime, this fascist regime can actually... defeat the palestinian people, the palestinian people in themselves are extremely strong, determined to stay in their land, those who have been forced out in the past in 1948 and 1967 are determined to go back, and something also

historically quite important that has happened in recent years is that the palestinian people are no longer alone, the palestinian people despite the betray of some arab regimes have acquired very powerful friends, they have powerful alliances now amongst resistanm forces across the region, whether you're talking about the aggression against the yemeni people and how the yemeni resistance became so powerful, they are now strong allies of the palestinian people, same in iraq which was the subject of of vicious american occupation, over million iraqis were killed, there is also, there was also... resistance movement against the us occupation and some of these resistant forces in iraq are have also declared a strong alliance with the palestinians, move to lebanon, powerful lebanese resistance movement is very strong

ally of the palestinian people, so the the palestinian people are not alone, they have a strategic depth, and these powerful. forces also have strong allies, whether it's in iran or syria or even across the world, you're talking about countries from venezuela to china, so re the israel is acting against a historical trend and they will eventually this israeli regime will eventually be be defeated. washington, london, paris, these western powers that supply the weapons of death to to to israel will also be be defeated in the region. they use israel as powerful base against the peoples of the region. they think by... by planting so much weapons on of mass destruction inside inside

occupied palestine, they could threaten and intimidate the peoples of the origin, divide the area, act as assaboter, supporters of terrorist organizations, israel and the united states have supported terrorist groups whether in iraq or or syria or lebanon even, so you've got. problem here which is that the the the united states hopes to to dominate the region through its proxy forces and israel is their biggest proxy force, but the people of the region are the hundred times stronger today, and i think looking at the balance of forces, these resistance forces will eventually win. okay, well mustapha, what is it about this particular war on god? um that the israeli regime's western backers are not even mentioning the necessity for an

immediate cease fire. the us has a draft resolution right now in the un requiring essentials to be allowed into ghaza but doesn't call for sease fire nor a humanitarian pause uh your take? no we we also have seen yesterday or the day before two uh draft resolutions one submitted by brazil and the other one by russia and they were vitted because the western i mean the americans is specifically insisted on condemning the resistance, the palestinian resistance without actually calling for seas fire. i i think what the what what drove the west so mad actually is especially the united states they are acting very histerrically is the fact that this is the this is the first time 75 years of occubation that a palestinian group manages at this scale with

such blanning and sophisticated training apparently to penestrate inside israel, this is this has never been, this has never happened before since 48, mean despite the six or seven wars between israel and the arab countries, nobody managed to enter what they call proper israel. except for this time in the 7th of october, so the the idea as a as i said before after driving as many palestinians as as possible off the face, the face of the earth completely, the the second idea is to give a lesson that any resistance movement contemplating or thinking about going inside israel, which is legitimate of course, because they are defending themselves, the... in this case uh they they should they should think it wise for three

times about it because it's for the first time we see israeli citizens who are mostly illegal immigrants in in my opinion living in in shelters outside their homes and living in tents we are seeing refugees israeli refugees inside the properties especially the area around around gaza and there's a really regime, especially the terrorist mr. netanjau, they want to teach us a lesson, whether the palestinians or their supporters across the world, as mentioned by by my colleague, sammy, they want to teach us a lesson, never to think about this again, but but but what they are forgetting is that we discovered, just for starting this 7th of october, discovered that most of the israeli power is actually does not exist, it it doesn't make any sense at all, and they have

failed in terms of the intelligence, they have failed in in terms of the military, and they have failed actually in dividing any specific or clear objective of this war, as i mentioned before, and of course they are capable of killing thousands of palestinians as we have seen so far, but that that will not be - right, well simon, what about that, mustafa talked about what happened on october 7th, and what the palestinians were able to. to do and many islands are saying that the whole situation has changed, parameters have changed now since october 7th and will never return to the way it was, mostafa mentioned about the uh zinis now actually also uh being uprooted whether we're talking about the northern um occupied territories of the

southern occupied territories right now, so uh i'd like to hear your perspective on that. yes, i think there is, there is definite change in the balance of forces after 7th of october, the palestinian resistance for the first time have shown themselves to be quite a powerful force, a force which is not only sophisticated in terms of its own planning, military planning, political planning, also i think one one important point that the israeli regime and western powers underestimate is that the palestinian resistance is just not just few hundred or few thousand fighters, it's really the overwhelming majority of the palestinian people even those families today that are losing their babies, their children, their

loved ones, they come out and say israel is not going to drive us out, we want freedom. "we will resist this uh genocidal war, so there is incredible determination amongst the palestinian people, whether in gaza, whether in the west bank, whether in their refugee cams and the in the region across the world, palestinian refugees have spread across the world, millions of them, their determination, their love of palestine, their love of their homeland, the the the incredible. lost their experience over so many decades has not bent their determination, they are truly incredible people in terms of their their love of freedom, love of their homeland, their their determination to achieve victory, and this is the secret weapon that the palestinian people have, and this is the secret weapon that neither washington, north,

the israeli regime fully comprehend and understand, there is definite shift now in the balance of forces because the palestinian people have been able to show this determination in action and that is a quite a historic achievement and also they have shown that this so-called powerful israeli army the fourth strongest in the world the only nuclear power in the middle east and so on is ultimately an extremely vulnerable force to rely on eliminating people and waging wars of genocide will not save this fascist regime in telaviv so okay so they they have some lot of actually jewish people are also standing against israeli regime today that's important to point out ordinary jewish people across the world have joined in these mass

demonstrations across the pole in support of the palestinian people and in opposition to zinism okay let me get mustafa in here, the last question, mustafa, uh, we talked early a little bit about the resistance, i want to talk about the expansion, likelihood of the expansion of this war with other forces getting involved, um, we know uh, as sammy had pointed out about uh, the yemeny forces and what happened, and also we know about hezbollah, and the overall situation in region, i mean, your take about that possibility, well, that's a very serious one. posibility and could be truck to the entire region, we heard yesterday and today as well, the the foreign minister of the islamic republic of iran explaining the fact, reirating what he had said about few days ago that the the whole region is like like no, a volcano, it could explode that anytime if

there is the the science, the science go on killing the palestinian in gaza, of course. we have to remember that israel not not only occupies palestine but it also ocbies parts the lands of syria as well as in lebanon and that's the reason why hasball is fighting over there and we have seen hizbullah fighters you know launching small operations here and there depending in the situation and how it develops inside palestine especially inside gaza over the... next couple of days, the whole the whole region could explode, plus there's another very strong sentiment, brow palestinian sentiment, around around the the the countries around the occupied palestine, be it in jordan, be it in egypt, be it in syria, but as far away as morocco,

libya, and and everywhere and iraq, almost everywhere, and that public opinion, that public anger has to be, you know, kind of a channel towards the the the occupied. land somehow and if there is no seas fire soon or lifting of the embargo and gaza all together, i think the whole parameters, not only if the conflict will change, but also the political situation around the around the israeli entity will change, and i think the the the the the idea of normalizing tires with israel, as we have seen over the last two. years or so, i think that will that will stop for now, at least for for at this point, okay, and on that note, thank you both for being with me, sami ramadani, academic and
