quite often our ambassador, palestinian ambassador to the uk doing the media rounds, yes, speaking on lbc, the london radio station, talking about um, as we can see clearly there, saying that we should obviously apply the same rules and trying to say that the government would actually put israel on the terrorist list as well if it was actually applying the same rules throughout and across the board and saying that you know um basically this should be you know done in the... way because they are breaking international law very clearly, and if the definitions are there to show what a terrorist is, then they fall under that same umbrella and let's hear it in his own words, yes, what we need to do is just to apply the rules, did israel breach international law, the question was asked to the prime minister and to the head of opposition, the leader of opposition, and nobody said yes, mean what, what, well because the the reason surely is if you believe as the prime minister and both

clearly do that israel is is not breaking international law, the reason for that is they say that the strikes on gaza are in self-defense and they're targeted to root out hamas fighters and to kill one rule for one side of the conflict and another for the other one, well later on, even the lbc presenter does say, well that will not happen, calling israel a terrorist will not happen, so he did say that regardless of how many uh people will sort of you know relate all the evidence and definitions to be the same. as they call somebody else, but it will not happen. thank you, thank you, we'll talk to you again uh later for more on palestine in the media talking points. this is gaza under attack, a one-hour topical show looking at some of the most important talking points emerging from the crisis. my guests, nur fekri and mohammad, that muslim guy are still with me as we navigate some of the central issues emerging from the israeli bombardment of gaza. thank you both for your patience.

for sticking around, um, i guess i can get you to react to um, what the palestinian ambassador, we heard him say there, the uk applying one set of rules to israel and another set to the palestinian side. i mean, there has always been a double standard um with um with israel. i think the issue is speaking about israel um under the umbrella of sort of international law. i mean, international law legalized and internationalized the theft of. band um and the expulsions and the killing of palestinian people um and um you know on an international scale by estab by sort of recognizing and establishing israel as a state and so international law at that point becomes void so there's no use in referring back to international law, international law inherently discriminates against the palestinian people, you know, it gave away their land without um the palestinian people's approval, so falling back on international law, there really and truly is no use of.
