of delivering medical aid to al shifa saying the regime's forces are deliberately sabotaging the existing equipment. israeli forces enter the complex claiming that it was topa military command center of hamas resistance movement hamas however has categorically denied the regime's allegation saying israel lies about finding weapons at the complex. almost six weeks have passed since israel launched its war on gaza leading to destruction and shutting down of uh even health facilities. the un agency says only one hospital is now functioning in the northern part of the besieg strip. un office for the coordination of humanitarian affairs says out of 24 hospitals and clinics in northern gaza only one is receiving patients. it says 18 hospitals have shut down and evacuated while another five only provide limited care to patients already admitted, including al-shifa hospital a lack of...

power, oxygen, medical equipment, bombardments have been cited as reasons for their closure, according to the un, three hospitals shut in the past three days alone, the situation has left medical workers struggling to keep patients including premature babies alive. the un says even the palestinian red cross is unable to respond to calls for help to save those who remain trapped under the rubble. the al-shifa hospital complex is taken the center stage as the israeli regime presses ahead with its bombardment of medical centers across northern gaza claiming they are hosting hamas forces. now a palestinian doctor takes us a tour in and around the batteral shifa hospital. he shows us the damage on the infrastructure rendering the medical complex almost non-functional. i am standing here at the icu at al shaffa medical complex this department is suffering after the shut down of electricity due to lack of fuel. health

ministry warned about the lack of fuel. these people here were denied life support devices. they may lose their lives because there are no support machines or artificial respiration devices around 29. patients are facing this tragedy, here, as you can see, patients should have been connected to the devices to save their lives, but we had to evacuate this place completely, as you can see, the paramedics were forced to evacuate this department to save people from israeli air strikes and sniper fire. even these patients who are in the icu are facing death, israel wants to kill them inside this complex. there is an absolute siege on el shafa complex, no one can move in the yards around hospital. even between the various buildings inside the complex, we also can securely move the patients between buildings that face air strikes. this doctor is trying to save this girl by giving her oxygen through manual methods. this girl is suffering now because the air strikes and because of moving the beds from the original places to the

corridors. this is what is going on inside the alsofa hospital. the director general of the world health organization has denounced israel's recent incursion, into the al-shifah hospital in gaza tedronam says israeli regime is restricting access to vital fuel and aid exacerbating the already dire conditions and hindering the operation of a central medical infrastructure. israel's military incursion into al-shifa hospital in gaza city is totally unacceptable. hospitals are not battlegrounds where a extremely worried for the safety of staff and patients, protecting them is paramount. who has lost contact with health workers at alshifa hospital. but one

i'm being told that he's not with us just yet, but he will be joining us in a matter of moments, to bring us up to speed on what's taking place and in the ghaza strip, so it's uh, it's 41 days now since the israeli genocide in gaza has has started well over 11,500 people, which is the account. death toll, many more still remain under the rubble, uh, the death toll will unfortunately rise at least at this point, at least for... thousand children have been murdered at the hands of the israeli war machine innocent children in the gaza strip, they've been massacred, so many other children have uh died is not just the result of the direct bombing by the israelis, but uh the siege

continue, we're we're airing right now, a uh a giant plum of smoke right. through the air, can you tell us where was where was targeted right now by these rabies? well, i can't tell you because that footage comes from gaza city and we are in kanunis, but everywhere in gaza city is under attack, around 4 am 3:30 this morning, israeli fighter jets killed 50 worshippers as they were kneling and praying inside mosk and the subra neighborhood, at least 50 people have been killed including children, young men and elderly people. the israeli regime is committing uh extermination, i'm not going to call it massacres, extermination of palestinians, they've been killing people left and right for more than for 41 days now, and in sarat, they they attacked a gas station where people were internally displaced people were were hiding, they've killed at least nine people, and as i said 50 people in gaza at least, and

almost everywhere in gaza there's been a strikes, i mean in khan unis overnight i can hear the explode. and the the rocket attacks, they they they bombed and destroyed a house not far from here that has - antennas, so in order to to uh destroy anntennas, they killed a young child who was in the building to be with the family and and the child was killed, the little girl was killed because they want to take out and communications antenna that belongs to the palestinian telecommunications company, massacres upon. massacres have been taking place for 41 days, more than 1300 massacres, according to the palestinian ministry of health and the palestinian ministry of interior, entire families, the children, the parents, the grandparents, they were wiped off the face of the earth by the israeli regime, and overnight new attack, new attacks took place inside shifa hospital, around 11 pm last night, israeli tanks

withdrew from shifa hospital in gaza city, but israeli special forces remain inside and around 3 am the israeli tanks entered from the southern gate of of the shifa hospital and started destroying the uh the uh the pave the pavement of of the shifa hospital using the american made d9 buldozers to destroy walls and buildings inside shifa hospitals the israelis claim that hamas has military command is hiding under the shif of hospital which is absurd because the time when israeli forces attack chief hospital, there was at least 7,000 high dps, internally displaced person hiding, seeking shelter inside of hospital, why would anyone in the face of earth hide in a place where are where there are freedom fighters or militants, that doesn't make any sense, the means the government media office says said that the israeli regime brought weapons with them and

israeli minister three or four days ago said literally that we're gonna we're gonna make new nakbah in gaza and they did it already few weeks ago when they decided that they will uh they that they want everyone from the northern part of ghaza north of the ghaza wady. to hit south, basically what happened resembles the the the the the the testimonies by palestinian refugees who were still alive, few of them are still alive, when they talked about nakba of 1948 on on on may 15th, 1948 when some 800,00 palestinians were displaced and dispossessed by zionist gangs at the time, and in the historic land of palestine and they were kicked out throughout west asia, and the second largest refugee population and in the west asia is in gaza after jordan of course, jordan has the largest refugee community. gaza has around 1.3 million palestinian refugees, and the

statistics comes from unora like six years ago, the number probably 1.7 m now, so 1.7 million out of 2.3 million, that's the the vast majority of ghazans are palestinian refugees. gaza is not their original home, the original homes are in what currently is known as tel aviv, which... was called yafa before, what what currently called ashkilon which was asqalan or al majdal and many other israeli cities that the the the tel aviv regime has changed its the palestinian names to hebrew names, this is where palestinians, most palestinians in gaza come from, and if you remember back in 20 in 2018 when palestinians held the great march of return uh for for for for several months, israeli forces open fire killing. the young, old and disabled, we've seen the the the the the criminal mind, the criminal uh ideology of the israeli regime and and the zionist forces

back in 2018, and this and this has this became evident this time during this war, as israel said literally, this is the first gaza war, that means the other five or six major attacks on gaza since 2007, they were just - practice for the israeli regime, they were practicing for this, they were practicing to uh perform what the zionist leaders back in the 1800s called the transfer of the population, they wanted to transfer the arab population of palestine and replace them with jews from europe and other countries, and this is what they're trying to do, the israeli finance minister uh smutrich literally said we want uh the the people of gaza, the palestinians in gaza to go away, he didn't say kill the people, he said we want to literally transfer them out of gaza,

die before the international community intervenes? well, i think the inter, there is no international community, in essence the un is dead, it's been dead for a long time, and israel um is above all all international laws, it's a rogue state backed by the united states who gives it the license to do whatever it wants, and other western nations also, so uh, israel will continue killing um people in gaza, destroying all the means of livelihood, the infrastructure, um, because there's a deadly silence, yesterday we had - vote in the house of commons in which the house of commons, the british parliament

rejected the call for a ceasefire. which is basic uh you know um call for uh for peace uh which happens everywhere but uh here it's a license and a green light for israel to continue doing whatever it wants so um so this will continue until uh some power or somebody decides to intervene and stop it and i think what's happening is exactly what happened in kashmir. with india um when you know few years ago india basically annexed kashmir and made it a part of um a part of uh india and started to resettle uh hindus in kashmir to to alter the population mix to to to um continue the ethnic cleansing of

kashmiris and i you're going to see that in gaza, they're going to destroy it totally, the aim of the destruction and and um, you know, cutting off all means of civilian livelihood and survival is to force them out into another area such as the sina in egypt or or elsewhere, we've even heard israeli ministers say that the other countries should take them in, um, they've called it the nakbah. uh and and effectively it's an annexation of gaza uh and basically they're going to do what uh india did in kashmir and uh once they take control of it they will uh alter the population mix force lot of people out bring more um israelis in jews from all around the world uh and uh and effectively

they are putting an and to um the the project of any hope that there was or there never was, it was always the israeli plan to take the whole of the land from the river to the sea, and they they they're doing that, and it's not just happening here, the west bank is being ignored, similar things are happening there where settlers and israeli army are are are taking land and property from the the palestinians there, so i think this is uh effectively uh the end game that israel is trying to play out where it pushes the people in west bank uh to somewhere else or uh and and makes the west bank part of israel and also gaza uh part of israel and will change the population mix and you know

um the palestinians can be slaughted. or they can go elsewhere uh all right, ashraf, are you still with us, ashrespondent in gaza? yes, go ahead, all right, ash, so the united nations security council just recently the extended humanitarian, they called for extended humanitarian pauses uh in the gaza strip, this is the first time that the united nations security council has passed the resolution since the massacre of palestinians in gaza started around six weeks ago. i want to get to... perspective on uh this call for uh humanitarian pauses uh in gaza, what good will it do? many are saying that this is already too little uh too late, but what can a humanitarian pause do extended humanitarian pauses at this point where uh basically the ghaza strip has been reduced to rubble now? well, there's nothing in international law called humanitarian pause, this term was:

termed by the israeli criminal prime minister bejam netanyahu, he is the one who suggested the pauses and and unbelievably the the the un security council has adopted what netanyahu has suggested, humanitarian pause, we are not a video tape, they cannot pause what's going on and then forward it and backward and play it, so humanitarian pauses are uh ridiculous, there's nothing ever in history was called humanitarian pause, it's either cefire. or a truth, no pauses, pauses, that means i'll pause the attack against palestinians for example for five minutes and then i start killing them again. this is what israel wants, they don't want the truce, they know if it was a true or sease fire, it has to last for a specific time, for like a day or two, few hours, but pause can, you can pause for five minutes and then continue killing people, same question.
