the support of the united states administration, which is very silly and stupid. osama hamdan said the us and israel have aired bases allegations against hamas. he underscored the israeli military's a failure to provide substantial evidence to prove hamas's operation under the shiva hospital complex. hamdan also examined the footage israel's military has put on the nets. the senior hamas official accused the regime of propagating untrue stories about his bloody war on gaza. hamdan mentioned several cases of such israely propaganda. in one of the cases, an old palestinian man was killed after israely media, showing him being helped by the regime soldiers. un experts have condemned the quote grave violations israel is undertaking, saying there is evidence of the regime's growing genocidal incitement against the palestinians. the group of experts also sensor at governments for their failure in achieving a ceasfire. israel's bloody campaign in gaza has been

going on since the 7th of october. the group of un experts also expressed concern over the support of certain governments for israel. meanwhile the euro-mediterranean human rights. has documented israel's use of internationally banned white phosphorus, more than 1,00 strikes on gaza. 300 of such attacks were only conducted on wednesday targeting betya and northern gaza. the monitor said resorting to internationally banned weapons proves israel's ethnic cleansing campaign in the besieged gaza strep. pakistan's former ambassador to the un, ali sarahway says public outcry is the only way to push. fire in gaza, as the un has proven to be ineffective in that regard. the basic problem is that the united nations can be effective and functional only if all its members desire to do so, then in the security

council there is the discriminatory process of those members who are permanent and they can v any resolution, so effectively they make the security council totally, mean i impractical and ineffective to work with, you know in the vietnam war, the reason the us administration was forced to sue for peace and to hold peace talks in paris in the 60s and early 70s. the last century, was because of public protest, because of the fact that people came out on the streets, students in the universities came out in protest and demonstration against the policies of the

government, so there was such a massive change in public opinion that the government had to also alter its foreign policy, now here the situation is very worrisome and very bad, but unfortunately the israely and the jewish lobby in the united states is using all resources and keeping the media its side, the media in america is still talking about israel's right of defense and israel's uh dealing of the threat that it come that comes from gaza, so the media war has to be fought also, and i think if public opinion turns against israeli action, then the media will

also have to follow suit and change its stance. lebanon's resistance moved has carried out another strike. against israel's military positions along the border, as well have fired rockets and missiles towards seven israeli military sites. injuries have been reported among israeli soldiers. hezbulah and israeli troops have been engaged in direct lashes since the 7th of october when the regime ignited his bloody war machine to bombard the besieged gaza strip. hisbolla says that it will continue striking israeli positions until it stops the crimes against palestinians. you ask for. minister says the so-called humanitarian pause in gaza is nothing but the continuation of the killing and the starvation of the defenseless palestinian people. wasan amyan said israel and some of his backers are proposing humanitarian pauses to buy time to commit more crimes against palestinians. he urged

the international community to work toward immediate and unconditional anti-israely genocide in gaza. he also call for unhindered humanitarian aid delivery to gaza with delay. the top iranian. had reiterated palestinian's right to self-determination amir abdul is in geneva to push for diplomatic efforts to end the ongoing israel on gaza. he has already met with several. officials and other influential figures. iranian forum minister hossain amir abdullahyan is on an official visit to the swiss city of geneva. the top iranian diplomat has described the aim of the visit as pursuing the process of delivery of humanitarian aid to palestinians in gaza and the end of the israeli siege of the coast territory. we are pursuing process of delivery of humanitarian. assistance to people in gaza, we will have meetings with un officials and international red cross

organization. some of the meetings have been held while others are on the agenda. definitely, the humanitarian situation in gaza is embarrassing. amir abdullahyan also sensured the u.s. military support for israel, saying washington's claims of providing aid to palestinians are just words without action. we have heard from the american foreign minister say. washington seeks to send around 500 trucks of humanitarian aid to gaza daily, but currently between 25 to 40 trucks are only entering gaza, one-third of this aid is water, lacking the essential food and medicine urgently needed by palestinians. the iranian forum minister made the remarks, following talks with the un under secretary for human rights affairs, martin griffits. during their meeting, amir abdullahyan stated hamos resistance movements prepared. to release israeli civilians in exchange for the end of the regime's onslot against palestinians.

griffits, for his part highlighted the importance of this topic and thanked iran's efforts in preventing the war from spreading. amir abdullahyan then held talks with walker turk, the united nations high commissioner for human rights. following that, he met with mariana espoliar h. edger, president of the international committee of red cross. the talks all. around ending the sijon gaza and the opening of the rafa border crossing. for the last 40 days, israel planes and tanks have been pounding the gaza strip. for the last 40 days, thousands of civilians including women and children have been killed in the gaza strip. for the last 40 days, the international community has failed to propose solution to end the war. now, many are wondering whether the united nations and other human rights. organizations can do anything more to protect palestinians other than just issuing condemnations, un

my am sall now from baibut to tell us more about the ongoings uh where she is at, and for an analysis we have uh peter ford joining us later, former british ambassador to assyria, who will join us from manchester. all right, mariam, what do you have for us today? it seems like uh, just like other days. unless i'm mistaking uh the exchanges are taking place. yes, well, of course, not a day has gone by without any israeli shelling against the lebanese border towns in addition to the fact that the resistance continues to retaliate against that shelling, today we had basically an testification of the resistance operations, we had at least eight um targeted uh baracks today, and that was something that was considered maybe. accidented, it was the first time that they uh launched that number of firepower and rockets against the israeli
8:45 pm
posts, the focus for the resistance today seemed to be on the eastern side of the border, we had one or two maybe in the central part, although we did have lot of very significant operations on the western side uh of the border where the israelis actually said they lost um many of the israeli uh soldiers or they had actually casualties whether wounded or killed soldiers. and that is considered very significant, of course there are there is some damage in the lebanese towns, but still despite that you have also a lot of damage in the northern. whether the upper gilili or lower galilei of that region uh all in all basically is always under the uh rocket fire whether of the palestinian resistance groups or hizbullah's fighting and its targeting of the the military postballah has vowed of course that they will continue this uh this war um recently hizbullahs deputy secretary general sheikh naim qassim was asked whether hizbullah would enlarge or escalate the
8:46 pm
situation he said that basically it is all the eyes are on on gaza this all depends on developments. in gaza and also at the same time on the israeli conduct, if they are the ones who launch a war against lebanon, then therefore hizbullah will fight with everything they have, and he also said something very significant that they are confident as hizbullah resistance, as islam resistance in lebanon, that they will win any future confrontation that the that they might have with this uh with the israelis and that was something that was considered significant as a political stance, they have full confidence, and that would show that hazbullah does have lot under its sleeves and they are ready for any scenario in the future, even if it is a full scale invasion or first scale um war waged by the israelis? you know the question always remains as to what that full scale is going to look like, the full scale um military confrontation between the two, because obviously uh from
8:47 pm
the hezbollah point of view we uh unless i'm wrong uh you um can uh support that, it has not shown all that it has in terms of its uh military prows. um, but are we looking a gradual increase in terms of the intensity uh between the two, especially coming from the hezbollah side? well, there is a gradual increase, although it is slight, it is not as much as maybe some people would hope it would be, but hezbollah has very calculated moves of course, they know uh that what they are doing is the right thing, they believe that now the whole whole focus is on gaza, it is the the frontlines in the gaza confrontation that should be speaking these days, they are the ones that dictate the future and the steps of what lies ahead, hazballah saying they are a front which is a supported front, not a front which is at the front line, they have stressed it many times and they also
8:48 pm
have said that what they have shown the israelis so far, what they have used against the israelis is very minimal, it's nothing compared to what they really do have, the israelis themselves have said this, us experts have also maintained uh the fact that they do not want escalation of the war uh in into lebanon since they believe that hizballah could show more potential um perhaps multiplied by 10 compared to what hamas can have, however despite all of this you also hear from the backgrounds from sources from hazbullah. officials saying that this is a battle for the people of ghaza and it is they who want to basically prove to the world that they can defend their land and they can defend uh ghaza, so this is what they are eying, but of course when that that that frontline is in any way threatened, the resistance has said that they will be ready to defend it, and of course like we said, i
8:49 pm
think we haven't seen more than 5% of hazbullah's potential in south lebanon yet. uh, i'm reading the news, i don't know if you've seen it, i'm sure you have though, and that is the fact that uh, the uh us defense secretary austin has warned uh the minister of military affairs of israel about israeli military actions in lebanon, warning against uh it's being escalated and uh for israel not to do that. i'm not too sure whether we can believe that or not, or we can take that with the grain of salt uh, because we know the way that the u.s. has uh said that about... the way israel conducts itself in the occupied territories, especially when it comes to the for example hospital, but um, it goes into at length into how the us does not want to have another front open up in this case and point with hezbollah. do you think we can believe the us stands on this? well, it seems that
8:50 pm
the us has lot its hands right now, of course they have the upcoming elections in the united states, they also... i think have really studied what hizbullah's potential is uh the fact that they are very much more muscular group than uh hamas of course they do have their intelligence the united states does have intelligence of hizbullah's capabilities they know that they have the precise rockets that can really target uh the home front of the israelis and target the israeli institutions whether that is the cabinet or the kineset and they can really inflict heavy losses upon the israelis and we can see that now even uh the israelis need a lot of support from the united states, from france, from britain, from all those world powers, the so-called democracies of the world, putting all their... efforts into supporting israel in order for it to stay standing um or else it would not be able to survive. we heard this from hazballah's deputy secretary general that saying that all
8:51 pm
the support is artificial respiration uh for the israelis or else they would not be able to survive you don't know when that would stop so therefore the us can see that if it is only against gaza and they need to give it all those armaments all those the weapons the rockets the capabilities the the iron dome all that money that is being pumped into... this regime, and still they are incapable so far, as many many military experts say, of achieving one single military objective, then the case in lebanon would be even more extreme. they have in the past not been able to um inflict and have you losses upon has, they have been able of course to commit massacres, they have destroyed infrastructure, but have they uh realized any or achieved any military objective, they have not, and so therefore. in lebanon will be even more difficult with hizballah's promise, and i think that there's also the other issues that that play in this in this regards, if the us had to stand in and had to
8:52 pm
step in in order to assist israel when it comes to the frontlines or the confrontation inside lebanon or any confrontation with hizbullah, then therefore there would be a more um a more enlarged uh, i would say uh battle battle zone, we're not just talking about lebanon, i think that then even the resistance in iraq and in yemen would have to step in um even more than what they are doing right now and they would be given the capabilities and they will be allowed of course to do so with the pretext that they are of course confront defending their own lives, defending the resistance in lebanon, and they together as one unified front in the in the region, it it has it's much more different than what it was in 2006 or in during all the israeli invasions of lebanon. uh now we see even as it is different in in palestine so for the first time we see that all the resistance factions in the region whether it is hizballah the hizbullah in in
8:53 pm
iraq the ansarlahh in in yemen the yemeni army itself are all supporting and supportive fronce for the palestine which is fighting its own its own battle of course but i think that with hezbollah it's going to be even more a larger scale where you will see those resistance factions coming closer, we might even see and we heard this hint from the head the ansarullah movement, sayid abdul malik al-huthi, he called on the soodis and the emirates to only allow just to route for the fighters in yemen to reach the occupied palestinian territory, so then they would have to probably even invade those uh lands in order to reach palestine, if the palestinian resistance is in any way in need of that stronger support. uh which can definitely extend even if you do have destruction of lebanon and you do have all these threats by the israelis that they would be doing to lebanon and making the people of
8:54 pm
lebanon suffer as they are doing in gaza, i believe the response then would be even larger uh than what they are seeing right now from the resistance inside palestine, as we said the what they have seen from hazbullah is minimal, i mean we're talking like like i said only 5%. what if we raise that to 50%? what could happen then? well talking, we're talking about perhaps an invasion of the guilili, we're talking about hazballah fighters inside occupied palestinian territory, in addition to their rockets which can be fired from northern lebanon into uh israeli sites and so that's that's something i think that the israelis and the united states need to be concerned about uh, they're probably doing their homework right now, they're probably of course seeing what they can. and cannot do, but it seems to be unlikely uh based on many perceptions of many analysts. thank you for that, mari there from beiroot, thank you, and with that we come to
