10:30 pmounds capital tehran, this is president news, thanks for joining us. on day 41 of israel's onslot on the basege gaza strip hospitals are the focal point of the regime's deadly raids. gaza city stripa hospital is surrounded by israeli tanks and buldozers and no one is allowed to leave the medical complex. the director of the hospital says the israeli military has bombed the waterline, he said the regime forces are present in the hospital and have stolen several palestinian bodies, the regime's military has confirmed its raid
10:32 pm
into the hospital, which started on wednesday. israely forces entered the complex claiming that it was the top of military command center of the hamas resistance movements. hamas has categorically dismissed the allegation, saying israel lies about finding weapons of the complex. meanwile doctor in gaza has said the situation at shiva hospital is catastrophic. the situation at dal shifa hospital is very dangerous and catastrophic. the israeli army invaded the al-shefa complex last night and since then we have lost contact with our colleagues, patients and everyone inside the al-shafa medical complex. we are unable to ascertain the events inside the alshafa complex, including violations against the medics and patients by israeli forces. israel has also bombed the surroundings of the indonesian hospital in gaza. according to the chief of the hospital, the medical facility is now completely out of service. the palestinian

redquest says israeli tanks have also surrounded the al-ahli arab hospital. the neuserad refugee camp in central gaza was also hit, killing nine people, mostly children. israel has killed at least 11,500 palestinians in gaza since the 7th of october. a un agency says only one hospital of is now functioning in the northern part of the besep. the un office for the coordination of humanitarian affairs says out of 24 hospitals. and clinics in northern gaza, only one is receiving patients. it says 18 hospitals have shut down and evacuated, while another five only provide limited care to patients already admitted, including alshufa hospital. lack of power, oxygen, medical equipment, bombardments have all been cited as reasons for their closure. according to the un, three hospitals shut in the past three days alone. the situation has left medical workers struggling to keep patients, including premature babies alone. the un says
10:34 pm
even the palestinian red cross is unable to respond to calls for help to save those to remain trapped under the rubbles. the senior representative of hamas in lebanon says the palestinian resistance fighters are not operating in any hospitals. there is no, no center or control room for hamas in this hospital. we have. all the hospitals all the time, the israelis, they have said that about rantisi hospital and they were lying, they've said that about al-quds hospital and everyone realized that they were lying and now everyone is watching their lies, even with the support of the united states administration, which is very silly and stupid support. sama hamdan said the us and israel have aired baseless allegations against hamas. he underscored the israeli
10:35 pm
military's failure to provide substantial evidence to prove hamas operation under the shifa hospital complex. andon also examined the footage israel's military has put on the net. the senior. official accused the regime of propagating untru stories about his bloody war on gaza. hamdan mentioned several cases of such israely propaganda. in one of the cases, an old palestinian man was killed after israeli media showing him being helped by the regime soldiers. hamdan also said the military wing of hamas has been successful in damaging or destroying israeli vehicles. the quassam brigades have succeeded in destroying. and inflicting damage on 33 vehicles, over the last 48 hours, these brigades, said brigades, the military wing of hamas continues its operations. algasan brigades issued a statement saying that 24

hours, in 24 hours, it destroyed a building where israeli soldiers were hiding in. these soldiers were either killed or wounded, it said. the head of the un agency for palestinian refugees has warned of a quote deliberate attempt to impead its operations in gaza. hunroa is now running out of fuel. we will not be able to uphold our commitment to provide for the palestinian people any longer. i do believe there is deliberate attempt to. our operation and paralyze the unu operation. speaking a press conference in geneva, the head of ara said the agency may have to totally suspend this operations due to lack of fuel. he said it was quite outrages to force humanitarian organizations
10:37 pm
to beg for necessities. the suspension of honorable mission in gaza would pose new challenges to more than 8000 displaced palestinians under the agency support. israel has indiscriminated. bomb various neighborhoods in gaza, including union schools, sheltering internally displaced people. at least 103 employees working for anrua have been killed in israelin bombardment since the 7th of october. it has been the highest number of employees killed in the agency's history. un experts have condemned the quote grave violations israel is undertaking, saying there is evidence of the regime's growing genocidal incidements against the palestinian. group of experts also sensured governments for their failure and achieving a ceasfire. israel's bloody campaign in gaza has been going on since the 7th of october. the group of un experts also expressed concern over the support of certain governments for israel. meanwhile the euro-mediterranean human rights monitor has
10:38 pm
documented israel's use of internationally banned white phosphorus in more than 100 strikes on gaza. 300 of such attacks were only conducted on wednesday targeting betlahiya in northern gaza. the monitor said resorting to internationally banned weapons proves israel's ethnic cleansing campaign in the bessieg ghaza strip. the un chief has painted a bliak picture of the unfolding humanitarian crisis in the ghaza strip, drawing global attention to the repercussions the war and the forced displacement of palestinians. the total depletion of fuel supplies is imminent. according to anra, and it would be catastrophic across all of gaza, leading to the complete collapse of water, sewing and crucial healthcare services and endling the trickle of humanitarian assistance that has been permitted to date, massive outbreaks of infectious disease and
10:39 pm
hunger seem inevitable. the un high commissioner for human rights walker turk made the remark a press briefing at the... went office in geneva. he said, during the current war in gaza, israel has violated the most basic human values. turk slamed the regime's genocidal rhetoric, saying the killing of civilians cannot be dismissed as quote collateral damage. he also, said israel and its western benefactors, have ignored un warnings over human rights violations in gaza for many years. turke also expressed deep concern about increasing israeli violence in the occupied west bank. pakistan's former ambassador to the un ali sarwar nakwi says public outcry is the only way to push seasfire in gaza, as the un has proven to be ineffective in that regard. the basic problem
10:40 pm
is that the united nations can be effective and functional only if all its members desire to do so. then in the security council. there is the discriminatory process of those members who are permanent and they can vito any resolution, so effectively. they make the security council totally, mean i impractical and ineffective to work with, you know in the vietnam war, the reason the us administration was forced to sue for peace and to hold peace talks in paris in the 60s and early 70s of the last century. was because of public protest, because of the fact that people came
10:41 pm
out on the streets, students in the universities came out in protest and demonstration against the policies of the government, so there was such a massive change in public opinion that the government had to also alter its foreign policy. now here the situation is very... very worrisome and very bad, but unfortunately the israeli and the jewish lobby in the united states is using all resources and keeping the media its side, the media in america is still talking about israel's right of defense and israel's dealing of the threat that it comes. that comes from gaza, so the media war has to be
10:42 pm
fought also, and i think if public opinion turns against israeli action, then the media will also have to follow suit and change its stance. leman's resistance has carried out another strike against israel's military positions along the border, his will fired rockets and missiles towards seven israeli military sites, injuries have been reported among israeli soldiers, hezballah and israeli troops have been engaged in direct clashes since the 7th of october when the regime ignited its bloody war machine to bombard the besieged ghaza strip. hisbollah says that it will continue striking israeli positions until it stops the crimes against palestinians. early this week an international delegation of writers, lawyers, journalists and activist went to egypt to push for the opening of the rafa border crossing, which connects the arab country to
10:43 pm
the besieged ghaza strip, but members of the delegation were arrested by egyptian authorities near the crossing and then later deported. dan kavallic, member of the group is joining us now to explain why they went to egypt and what happened to them there. well, daniel, tell us what happened? yeah, well, first of all, we answered a call by a group of journalists in egypt that wanted international accompanyment. uh to go to the raffit crossing to not just deliver humanitarian aid to gaza, but to push for the for the rafa border to be open, because um, you, i'm sure your audience, most of your audience knows that the rafa border has been closed for the most part uh for years and it has even been closed since the uh october 7venth events, in you know which really necessitated serious humanitarian aid. into gaza, um, and so uh, people in egypt are
10:44 pm
pushing for that border crossing to be open all the time and for aid to be allowed in, there's many aid trucks even waiting to go into raffa, um, now just to be clear, just to clarify, so we we were going to accompany that group, we at the last minute, it like 5:30 in the morning when we were supposed to leave, they denied the international delegations right to go to... the rafa, so we never got to the rafa crossing, we then held a press conference in front of the uh us embassy in cairo, to call for the opening of the rafa border, and of course an end to the us support for the genicide in gaza, and that's when we were arrested in front of the us embassy, in in cairo, so when you say you were arrested in front of the us embassy in cairo, was the reason uh for it because you were having the press conference or the content of what you were saying? well that's
10:45 pm
a great question, i think that it's a little bit of both, i think they got unnerved by the gathering of people in front of the embassy, by the way, it was across the street from the embassy, it's not like it was right in front of it, it was across a very big lane, very big avenue in cairo across, so it wasn't any threat to the physical integrity of the... embassy, but when they came up to us, they made it clear, they were upset and disturbed by the fact that some of us were wearing cafeas, that some people had palestinian flags, they'... clear that's what they were concerned about, they asked if any of the members of the group were palestinian, even if they were palestinian americans, so that was clearly uh part of what was going on there. well, what about the uh, the fact that this border crossing is closed, um, were there explanations given as to why they're
10:46 pm
not opening it, um, why they don't let aid that's standing or sitting there to be allowed. flow in or is that decision that the government makes, how what, what understanding did you reach there? you know, what we're being told is that partially it's the egyptian government's decision, but it's also israel's decision, that is that israel really controls that crossing, uh, maybe more so than egypt does, and that's part of the reason that this um uh is happening. um so you know the problem in general is that egypt is vasssel state of the united states, it let's face the facts, the government that's in power there now, the us have put in power um by overthrowing the muslim brotherhood there that the us did not want there, and you know, i think it's fair to say the egyptians
10:47 pm
don't have control over that border or over lot of things and so i think you know... the us again and israel have lot to answer for in terms of the opening of that cross. and if you take a look at - did you, i don't know if you said that you made it to the crossing or not, but uh, we know that there's a lot of age that's still sitting there, yes, so so what's the story with that with that? mean, do they have to wait, because there was a un resolution that was passed that uh, they called it um these pauses again, not a ceasefire, but doesn't that allow for the eight to go through, how does that uh stand? in terms of the eight that's sitting there, yeah, of course, there's supposed to be four-hour pause in fighting um, every day to allow aid to go through, um, but at least what i've read and what i was told is that um, that that does not apply to the to the rough acrossing, that does not allow
10:48 pm
necessarily for a to go through during those four hours, so you know, we talked to people, again, we did not make it to the... crossing, we were denied permission to make that trip sadly because we traveled a long way to try to do that, but we were told by people who went um that trucks are sitting there with aid, still not allowed to get in, um, it's not clear when they'll be allowed in, and again i think a lot of this is in deference to the us and israel, i will say another concern egypt has, and in some ways egypt is stuck between iraq and a hard place is they do not want to collaborate with israel in the in the ethnic cleansing of the palestinians into the egyptian sini desert, which is what israel wants, and so that is one consideration they have in terms of of opening the crossing, so um, but again, i think that egypt is not does not have a free
10:49 pm
hand in terms of their policies and is trying to play. the us and israel who do not want that border crossing, open, do not want aid flowing, and why? we know, because israel has genocidal intent and ghaza, i mean that is fact, and um, in some ways egypt is captive to that policy. well, you got to give uh you uh some uh credit there for making that trip and for wanting to obviously reach ultimately the palestinian, so in that respect, you know, kudos to you, daniel covalick, maybe another time. that your effort will hopefully pay off, but thank you for joining us. daniel, human rights lawyer from pitsburg. thank you. moving on, the commander of the force of iran's irgc has sent a message of support to the gaza resistance, heiling operation as an epic of grand scales that laid bear the fragility of israel. brigidier
10:50 pm
general ismail khani said the operation showed israel's security is far more vulnerable than a spider's wet. the letter was addressed to the commander of them brigades it said the palestinian operation united muslim nations around the notion of jihad against israel, he said now everybody believes palestine and the wido region will not be the same in the wake of allahs of flood. the iraning commander touched attacks by the resistance against israeli troops and armed vehicles, saying the strikes betray the creative side of the resistance. the iranian general saidman will do its best to support the palestinian resistance. iran's prime minister says the so-called humanitarian pass in gaza means nothing but the continuation of the killing and starvation of the defenseless palestinian people. wason said israel and some of its
