of genocide, we are closing to one year of war against palestinian peoples in people in gaza and and in the west bank and in bezet university uh actually a stand was organized by the students and the university administration and teachers to show to show support to the lebanese people. uh, over here uh, as we interviewed many palestinians also about the assassination of syd hassanlah, all of all of those who were interviewed showed. deep sorrow and showed more deep morning to sayid as they could they did not consider him to be as only a leader to the islamic resistance in lebanon but also a part of the palestinian revolution where where he helped and participated actively in the support of the palestinian people and to the and to the

palestinian cause many many of whom we were interviewed by a press tv uh told us that sayid hasan nasallah was one of the very few leaders that supported the palestinian resistant and the palestinian people and paid the price with his blood that and we will be always remembered over here in palestine as you walk around you can see the posters and the photos of sayid hasanlah hanging on stores and uh on many areas over here as he is considered to be a part of the... palestinian revolution and a great a big support, he he was considered to be a great loss for the palestinian people, and he was morned over here as much as he was mourned in his own in his own country in lebanon and in other countries that that love the resistance and love sayid hasan nasrullah. also, many

marches and stands were organized to show to show support. and solidarity with the lebanese people during these very hard and horrific times that uh during the uh iof and during the israel's attack on the lebanese, the lebanese lands and also over here we can say that many palestinians are feeling the deep sorrow and the deep loss actually of uh of sayed hasan nasrullah going back to your question about the escalating violence by the iof over here in the west bank, well we have we have been seen this seeing this violence since the last 12 months increasingly and even before that the west bank has went through many military operations even before the beginning of the war, we are talking about a military operation that took place in the year 2020, 2021 and 2022, these three

military operations were against the west bank and increasing the... military pressure and detention and escalating violence over here. not to mention of course we always say that the iof is attacking from one side and the israeli settlers are attacking from the other side. the war of the settlers over here is unimaginable as as it is going a daily basis and the rates of the attacks of the settlers is increasingly higher and more dangerous. we are seeing more deadly attacks by settlers. than ever uh than ever from we are talking at least from 30 years now we are talking about the deadliest rate from the settler attacks also to about the escalating violence and the escalating uh the escalating procedures by the iof well after the

assassination of syd hasan nasrullah yes the situation here got increasingly. increasingly tensive and uh maybe this this is due to that israel has this mentality or as many analysis say that they have the mentality that they they want to control over the palestinian any palestinian existence that might be that might endanger be be danger to to israel or to the iof or to the regime. itself, but today, today's procedures are actually a bit different and they translate what we have just said about the home front command saying that they will be level increasing the level of security to level two of security, especially in the west bank, al-quds and into

tel aviv and its suburb, this is actually a translation of what uh security level two means in which is to more security grip, holding more tighter grip to the west bank, holding more tighter grip to al quds where people palestinians over here are over there in al quds are suffering tremendously in in al-quds as they are being not each day under under israeli bridgeness and and military pressure and of course not to mention the closure of the main checkpoints and the main entrances for the cities over here in which israel is taking as a mean of as mean of punishment against against. as we have seen recently in alkhalel where where the iof has closed the main interest and exits and cut off al khalil which is the largest city and

the main the main economic lifeline for the west bank they have closed it and cut off the roads between al khalil and its villages in a form of punishment to the escalating resistant resistance operation that operations that are taking place - in in the south of the west bank. all right, i mean when we look at the overall situation that has been taking place on the west bank, because of course uh, the majority of the tension has been on gaza this last year, at the same time that you've been talking about since october 7, and of course prior to that, though the oppression has increased. i i want to look at how it has affected your day-to-day lives there, because at one point villages were cut off from the uh from each other or you many people couldn't go to school or couldn't go to work, tell me the overall situation right now, well the overall situation over here is increasingly difficult

and it is actually very hard for palestinians over here in the west bank, let us just categorize what these difficulties are, talking let's talk start talking about roads and and and ways and moving around the west bank it is extremely difficult to move from one city to another. as the checkpoints over here, the the iof has raised the checkpoints from 200 checkpoints to to 722 checkpoints around the west bank, these checkpoints does not only represent represent like obstacles to towards movement, but they represent death, they are represented as death traps and they are represented as where a place and a obstacles where palestinian people spend hours. long hours each day going in and out of of city, going to work or going to school or to university or to do anything, uh, going

to a checkpoint is like going through hell for here over here for palestinians, as the iof soldiers, especially after the beginning the genucidal war, since 12 months now, they have been practicing such inhumane practices on these borders and and also preaching the uh the person the personal belongings for palestinians like searching searching the phones or the cars or punishing palestinians for having a photo on on their phones, for example any palestinian a checkpoint may have any photo of the resistant or for example mr. hasan nasrullah would be inhumanely treated would be beaten and would be violated on that on the on these checkpoints. these checkpoints does not only represent uh places where soldiers stand, but also it represents places where palestinians are afraid to cross, because many of the palestinians have

lost their lives on these on these checkpoints as they cross, they they made maybe a full a wrong turn maybe or took the wrong way, they got immediately shot and killed as we have seen in the nearby village of alipan al garbi. also let's talk about more hardships of nightly raids and daily raids to palestinian and to the cities over here in the west bank, as we have interviewed many palestinians, for example in the area of insapha or for example in nabis, we have interviewed many people who told us that in the last 12 months they have not been able to sleep at night because they stay up awake due either due to the israeli rates or due to the settler's attacks unbelievable situation. taking place uh there na and hopefully we will continue speaking more about this because i think also the importance we have to not forget the importance of what is
