the israeli occupied city of tel aviv there and occupied uh palestine and very much anticipated response to the zyanus entities aggression in the region including killing over 42,000 gauzans, mostly women and children over the last uh nearly 52 weeks now, one a week shy of a full year in the onslot, the campaign of genocide in gaza, and instead of opting for a cease fire and putting an end to hostilities the regime has chosen escalate its aggression into lebanon, as we have seen over last two weeks, especially the last eight days killing over 1,100 lebanese injuring, thousands more displacing nearly fifth of the... entire lebanese population, million lebanese have been displaced, and what we witnessed on the uh, friday, the 27th of september, the hizbillah secretary general sayid hasan was martered by the regime in a beirrut uh suburb, perhaps the last straw for um iran

before it decided to finally give up its uh strategic patience and finally respond as it said it would to israel's aggression if israel does not stop if its western backers do not implore to stop its aggression on the people of the region that tehron will respond in kind and ultimately that materialized and culminated in tonight's uh retiratory operation on televiv using some of the fastest uh uh missiles that iran has in its arsenal ballistic missile including to the irgc's point some hypersonic missiles used in this operation joining us now in our tehran uh studios for this rolling coverage is our press tv uh kalesh namemati uh kirorash welcome to the conversation here but uh you barely ever see ki so much joy and ellation from a uh city getting strucked by missiles but you saw it tonight in the region not just in iran but throughout the region in iraq in

syria in lebanon you saw people in gaza in the occupied west bank taking to the streets celebrating even at this late hour of the morning uh past 2 am people are still out. and celebrating the strike, why? uh, well, first i have to start by uh talking about the most important thing here that you know iran is uh... operating a uh what is considered legitimate right and a retaliatory move, so first of all iran did not escalate uh what is happening is iran's legitimate right at first, but uh regarding your question, which uh of course is you can see the happiness of people all over the all over the world, of course in the region, people who saw ballistic missiles going over their heads, targeting missiles, which was based on the videos that i saw, and i'm pretty sure that all of your viewers saw as well, 90% of them

hit their targets, which were all military, which is this is showing something, this is showing something very important at that you are drawing the law, the morality is very important to the access of resistance, we are not going to take likely take lightly to those who murder, resistant leaders, very respected. resistance leaders who were um not only military leaders but they were very beloved throughout the region by the people in the in those countries and all over the world uh of course what is happening right now is the actually what what i'm so sorry yeah what is happening right now is the region is standing up for itself and iran is the one uh standing up for the people oppress in the region for the standing up against the apartide and the everything that is going

wrong in the region, so this is not just a um let let's say very minute uh retaliate or i'm so sorry very minute retaliatory uh conflict between what is happening in the region it's much more than that and uh they are very happy uh that iran is finally standing up with them. and earlier uh our colleague zaynab mentioned that the israeli regime has ordered a blackout, people cannot put up images of the missiles striking tel aviv and they cannot put out the aftermath of the the damage incurred now according to uh uh what iranian uh military officials three military bases were hit including the leader uh pardon the base that the attack that the planes that that dropped the uh multi thousand pounds bombs on the southern of bayrut suburb that uh resulted in the marturdom of late

hizbillah secretary general sayid hasan nastrala that iran targeted those facilities and that if there is a attack by the regime on iran that iran is concluded its operation at this point but in case that happens it will give much deadlier and more crushing uh response uh uh and then uh zenab i mentioned she was with us earlier she said the regime is ordered a complete black out that it will imprison, it calls itself the only democracy in the in the region, but it will imprison anyone that uploads into social media space images of what took place tonight, what do you think the regime uh wants to try to hide or censor when it comes to this attack and it's also gone after journalists, you very well know uh activism and journalism journalism in uh occupied territories against the regimes uh its raids into the occupied west bank a daily basis if you upload uh there are a lot of palestinians today in israeli jails because of actimism and uh

showing uh uh images of the regime's operations on social media, the regime goes after him, what kind of truth or what kind of information is the regime trying to censor and why? the fact of the matter here is that uh when israelis are trying to hide something it means that something really big happened. um at the same time you could see like what joe biden and uh you know the israeli government was saying, first they said that the attack was totally ineffective, nothing happened, but uh at the same time they said uh no, it was very big move and iran is going to get a response from us, and at the same time you can see all the censoring happening all over the uh israeli occupied territories, which they say people should not share the videos of what has happened. were the places that were struck uh by the iranian missiles.

i think these two of these events that i just described are very contradictory and they show that israelis were hit very badly. right and uh and now israel has vowed to respond to this uh ballistic missile attack against it um and we have seen the kind of aggression the regime is capable of what you see for the future of the region, do you see success in israel's western backers getting the regime to deescalate its tensions in the region and try to promote a restoration back to? peace and calm in west asia or do you see uh basically serious escalation as a regime has vowed to hit iran uh that is exactly right uh iran had played the patience game at first they said that they are going to show constraint for the murder of uh ismail hanyat the guest in tehran uh if there is going to

be a cease fire there wasn't a cease fire there never was a plan for a ceasfire apparently. so uh what is happening right now is that iran showed constraint, they didn't want to attack israel at first, but the it was very obvious that they were the ones, i mean the israelis were the ones wanting uh more war, more escalations in the region and iran had to get involved and uh you know launch this retaliatory move, um, but what i think uh will happen in the future as it was just uh saying in uh the response to your previous question uh israelis are censoring everything uh they first don't want to answer but maybe like the previous time operation true promise one uh they will conduct something very minute because i think that they know this uh tonight actually showed this release that if something like this

happens they are going to be hit much more harshly than before and pretty sure that you can see it on your uh on your screen that uh the irgc officials are saying the same thing, this shows that iran does not war, does not want escalations, but apparently israelis do, and for over year we've heard the regime calling itself the victim of aggression trying to justify its campaign in a gaza against the civilians of the besieg strip with many world leaders and organizations have referred to as nothing short of a genocide trs against gazens uh the regime has been calling it self-defense and now with over uh two weeks the the walkie talkie and pajor acts of terror blowing them up in civilian uh uh populated areas of the beirout and other cities of metropolitan areas of lebanon uh basically the regime i mean how successful has it been in getting the world to buy this justification that everything

it's doing is in self-defense and the rest of the region are the aggressors. well, it sounds to me more like a joke that you know israelis are thinking that this is more like a self-defense than anything else right now, think in five days we are going to uh have the anniversary of october the 7th uh and ever since then the israelis has been have been carrying out a genocide, a holocaust in gaza and uh this hasn't been uh only in gaza right now in the... past two weeks, three weeks we have been seeing what they have been doing to lebanon as well, and uh, i'm pretty sure that everyone knows that uh, if israelis are given the chance, if they are not limited to their uh, you know, those space that they are occupying right now, and even less than that, uh, they will conduct a lot of more

expansionism, and hisbollah is there to actually limit them for that matter, and i, i believe that... the thing that happened tonight, the operation true promise 2 was move from iran to show that they are not going to back down from what is happening, mean regarding the ground offensive uh into the lebanon and you're going to back hisbollah whatever whatever the costs, and you mentioned the april initial operation uh true promise qrs, how did that operation both um in scale? in uh uh magnitude and also of the uh premises around it and the justifications on why that attack was carried out, how it was carried out, the consequences of it, how do they differ from what we witnessed today? well, i'm pretty sure that uh, they are having some similarities, the first thing that happened in operation true

promise one, what iranians were doing was uh, they were sending lot of drones at first, uh and after some hours they were sending uh missiles and then ballistic missiles, so they gained a lot of in useful information, intelligence from what is actually happening uh in terms of the anti-missile systems in israel and the iron dome. i totally believe that iran used those uh very important information uh against the israelis and they again uh got a lot of more information from the israeli side should they... think of uh you know another strike on the axis of resistance iran is going to use those uh you know that information that intelligence against them very harshly and ' "a lot of people feel that iran has still yet even scratch the surface of its uh military capabilities when it comes to confronting the uh zianist entity uh kearash uh what what we

saw on display back in operation true promise and even today they say is just not even in a fraction of uh iran's missile capacity let alone its other capabilities up do you think uh iran i mean obviously iran could have done much more uh it still feels like it's showing a quite a bit of restraint, why do you think at this point in the game, after all the destruction and and death that israel has caused in the region that iran is still choosing, even with this retaliatory operation, still choosing to show restraint? well, i believe that uh, based on what of what i just said, and some of the previous questions, iran is trying to show the world that it is very different from what designist regime is doing, they don't want civilians dying. "they don't want any even infrastructure which is related to the civilians uh, to collapse or something happen to it, so whatever iran is doing is for

peace, for stability of the region, even iran is uh, what is trying to do is that they are trying to show the different countries, the different nations in the region to stand up for themselves and uh, let this..." regime dissolve, because i don't think that the region of west asia is going to see peace anytime soon as long as the uh, the zionist regime is drawing breath. okay, if you just allow me uh car to me sure update our viewers with respect to the events that have unfolded throughout the day in a much anticipated response to israel's regional aggression. iran has attacked tel aviv with hundreds of ballistic uh missiles. with reports putting the brage at between three to 400, and according to the irgc, only 10% of those missiles were intercepted by israel's air

defense systems, namely the uh quote and quote the iron dome, so-called iron dome missile defense system, iran's legal, regional and legitimate response as uh proported by iran's a un mission to the terrorist acts of the zionist regime which involved targeting. iranian nationals and interests and infringing upon the national sovereignty of the islamic republic have been duly carried out and iran has said should the zionist regime dare to respond or commit further acts of violence, a subsequent and crushing response will ensue. now uh we know that iran has said that the uh the regime has something coming as of the 31st of july when we saw in the iranian cap. tehran for the inauguration of president massud pizishian. we saw the uh hamas political bureau chief ismal hani attend that inauguration in the

iranian capital shortly thereafter he was targeted by the zinist entity on iranian soil and since then iran said that the israeli regime has something coming and basically we saw lot of restraint iran waited strategically to answer that ' infringement its sovereignty, its territory by the zianist entity, and it wasn't the first time that israel has violated iran's uh sovereignty, we know uh there is a long list of israely entity targeting uh with respect to material damage on iranian soil uh targeting iranian nuclear scientists among others in the streets of iran using acts of terrorism against iranian uh basically engineers. and the uh the regime has waited long and hard and has been very thoughtful in trying to uh not uh involve itself in actions that would

lead to escalation in the region, but it seems over the last year israel's done nothing but that very thing is uh partake and participated in conduct itself in a way to add um so much hostility and escalation and and provocation in the region that has brought what a lot of europeans are... been saying israel's closest allies, the region to the brink of true disaster, possible all out of war. now the barrage of uh uh missiles, mostly ballistic missiles, according to the irgc, said attack is aimed at three military bases in the area of tel aviv uh barage said was accompanied also by a large scale cyber attack, also uh utilized iran's new fatah hypersonic will. missiles for a first time, now we know all the ballistic missiles were not hypersonic missiles, but in fact hypersonic missiles were used as part, and that's once again why we're saying that iran

has not showcased it entire. potential of its uh retaliatory arsenal and it's deterrant power in this or last april's retaliatory missile operations against the zionist uh entity and in two separate posts on x uh leader of iran's islamic revolution ali khamenei said the righteous people may have to make some sacrifices but they will not be defeated at the end of the day he said they are the victors. in this uh uh field, meanwile throughout the region as a in response to these uh uh retaliatory strikes by iran against tel aviv, we've seen a lot of uh flights being canceled uh throughout the region, especially uh in iran where the uh spokesperson for the civil aviation organization of the country said that all flights have been canceled into at least uh 10 a.m. uh wednesday, we are at 2:30 am here

in the iranian capital when. day morning, the lebanese transport minister alihami also says flights can take off towards the west of lebanon, he said after coordinating with cypriot aviation authorities that planes will be allowed to take off towards the west until all developments and data are evaluated to take appropriate decisions that will ensure safety of air traffic in lebanese airspace, and earlier the minister said that the lebanese airspace is closed to air traffic for at least two hours, jordan has also reopened its airspace now after a temporary closure, now the uh palestinian resistance movement, hamas has welcomed iran's attack on israel saying that the iranian missile launch is heroic and has urged people and governments across the region to unite in confronting the israeli entity. hamas said that we assert this honorable iranian

response is a... strong message to the zionist enemy and it's fascist government that will help deter and reign in their terrorism. that was statement made from hamas. now um we also mentioned foreign minister having said earlier that um pardon the operation has in fact been concluded iran's retiratory operation um has been concluded unless he said israel decides to respond and then iran will hit back harder and he said it is now high time for tellvies backers to reign in the regime's war mungering that was iran's foreign uh minister masshan the iranian president also made very similar statement he congratulated uh the the people of the region for standing against uh zionist aggression and uh he thanked you.
