hello and welcome to debunking the myth. it has been almost one year since operational flood was executed. by hamas and the

resistance fighters, the rules-based order of the world has fallen apart since then when it comes to stopping this genocide from taking place. in this episode of the program we will look at the impact of operational flood along with the roots of the problem. our reporters will cover the israely raids into refugee camps in the occupied west bank, including a report on the gaza strip, which will do a history check on the conflict's core issues like displacements and the destruction of properties. force displacements, the destruction of property, lack of freedom of movements, these are some of the violations that the palestinians have endured throughout the years and decades under the israel regime's apartite policies. part of the reason operation alloca flood took place was because

of this chokehold that the regime had placed on the lives of palestinians in the occupied west bank and the gaza strip. gata ibrahim explains some of these violations that has plagued palestinians. for generations, palestinians have indured force displacement from their homes and villages with countless families being uproted and their lives shattered. the ongoing israeli operation is not merely. be a product of warfare, but is a manifestation of colonial policies aimed at this possessing palestinians of their land and identity. our life was very difficult even before the war. we lived many harsh times during the repetitive oppressions and invasions. destruction has been part of my own suffering since 2006. i call upon the world to relate to our suffering and 16 since

almost a year, however, they both were killed while away, and i could not embrace any or farewell them, they both were buried far away from their mother. in the west bank, the situation is dire, despite being largely excluded from the recent alaksa flood operation aimed at the settlements. surrounding the gaza strip, the israeli military has rammed up its operations leading to mass killings, arbitrary detentions and relentless harassments of the local population. this ongoing violence contributes to an atmosphere of fear and instability that permets daily life. the suffering of the palestinian people started with the arrival of of the occupation in palestine. and the

foundation of this apartide state. the suffering is exacerbating, however, and taking many faces, including long years of wars against gaza and terror oppressions across the palestinian cities in the west bank as well. meanwhile, the gaza strip under an israeli plock since 2007 has effectively become an open air prison. the siege had decimated the economy, restricted. access to basic necessities and lift medical facilities is struggling to provide care amed dire shortages. the population now facing key to humanitarian crisis is grabbling with the of compounded effects of war and the longest standing isolation due to the blocked. every day is a struggle for survival. palestinians are not just fighting against invading the troops and their shelling and pumping campaign, but actually they are fighting

against the system designed to erase their existence and identity. gada ibrahim press tv. let's bring in our correspondent mut ab musaba who joins us right now to expand a little bit more about the suffering that the palestinians have been uh experiencing at the hands of the israeli apartide regime when you take a look at what's happening in the gaza strip that's just a window into the suffering in the most extreme uh given the genocidal war that's being weighed against them but overall palestinians have also been suffocated in the occupied west bank there's a fake border that israely regime has put in place between gaza strip and the occupied west bank that's all of. palestine altogether, give us a little more information as to the history check on the way that the partide regime has exercised its policies that has suffocated the palestinians overall. that's absolutely true, no one can deny that the that the horrifying details of this

ongoing genocidal war against the palestinian people here unfolding a daily basis actually are a continuation of the catastrophe that the palestinan people have. been experiencing since the establishment of this apparent occupation on the palestinian land, no one can deny as well that the israeli occupation forces was established on the skulls of the palestinian people, the indigenous palestinians in all areas of tas strip, and if we want to look deeper into this situation, we understand clearly that the israeli occupation forces are still element and this israeli regime is still element with its racist policy, particularly when it comes to the palestinian people, they are... still rejecting any kind of any existence of the palestinian people, they are still denying the rights of the palestinian people, even the right to existence of the palestinian land, and this is the main problem with this israeli occupation, it's not about a political conflict with the israeli occupation forces, we are dealing and we are suffering from this porent occupation that

knows nothing and understands nothing but expelling the palestinian people and as you know finishing the existence of the palestinian people, this is the only thing that explains that flagrant massacres and atrocious atrocities and crimes being committed against the palestinian people day and night, it's not about what happened on october the 7th, by the way, unlike what, unlike what the man many mainstream media are trying to portray that the whole story began on october the 7th, we are talking about decades of the ongoing suffering and persecution, practice left ryan center against the palestinian people, this suffering is not reduced to the palestinian people here in gas. every corner of the occupied palestinian territories actually is uh marred by the persecution and the aggression practiced by the israel incubation forces and we have the west bank and the west bank hasn't ever witnessed something like october the 7th attack and the israelicubition forces have never stopped their brutal attacks against the indigenous

palestinians there a daily basis since this uh racist government took control in the israeli regime we have been witnessing daily persecution and torture and killing of palestinian people, we are talking about roughly more than 700 palestinian civilians have been reportedly killed so far, and this number is still growing incrementally as the israel incubation forces are still widening and expanding their attacks against various parts of the west bank, needless to mention that jerusalem is still suffering from the petal israel attacks and the disp attempts to change the de facto situation and in jerusalem as well. all right, thank you very much for that, as much talking to us there from darabala, we do. appreciate that uh, let's take a look at uh some of the ways that uh the israeli regime um has actually exercised its apart policies when it comes to uh the uh way that it has done that not only in the occupied west bank but also in the gaza strip we're going to take a look at uh some of that right now uh in terms of what is occurring um in the form and manner that the

israel regime has done that and that is something that is very evident uh the genocidal war has done that also what we have seen in the occupied west bank throughout the years and decades so if we are to... take a look at the the way that this is unfolded, we're going to give you some examples as seen through the icj in terms of uh the way that it has exercised uh that again when it comes to the occupied west bank, if we can take a look at the graph here on the wall, this is the way that the icg has come about it, it's obvious that the icj through the rulings that it has given has deemed to the occupied west banks uh violations by the israel regime as illegal, so that that is uh something that they have ruled. now when it comes next to what the icj has done in its ruling, it has said that israel is exploiting uh certain uh factors, um, force displacement is a result the regime, um, the was exercised its violations, water resource exploitation is another, you also have land annexation that

has taken place, and also rights violations, uh, this for itself determination of palestinians is something that uh, that that it has done, now let's take a look at uh, "the third and final way of our look in terms of how israel has also ruled uh the way that it has come about uh against the palestinians, it's the ruling has said:" that the regime needs to stop its settlements, it also has said that it needs to compensate palestinians, because obviously it has the violated the human rights overall, that's just very tiny look at the way that the israel regime has actually violated palestinian rights. uh, let's find out what our first guest thinks about this uh, we uh have ranjit or daniel yejich who's an author and researcher joining us from uh barcelona. daniel yejich, welcome to the program operation also flood has reached the almost the one year mark here, we just went through

some of the violations as cited by the icj, even though they don't really have legal mandate to make it happen so to speak, but they have come out and have blasted the israeli regime for basically carrying out apartite policies. can you tell us a little bit more how operation also flood actually brought that to light? yeah, i think the operation made it impossible. for the world to ignore the suffering of the palestinians and as your correspondent from gaza has already pointed out, there has been a major effort by the west, which continues to obviously back the israeli regime to present what has happened on october 7 last year as isolated from the broader context, the acts of thought follows 75 years of a brutal israeli genocidal occupation of... palestine and also beyond palestine and gaza in particular, the population of over two

million people had been very much imprisoned, if we want to use this word in what is very much an open air concentration camp, and under a blockade for 16 years prior to the thought with the palestinian people in gaza, not only being cut off from the outside world, but also deprived of basic human rights. human rights organizations in the last decade had already predicted that gaza would become in uninhabitable by 2020, so we need to understand that what uh the the actions of the palestinian resistance of october 7 as a response to these grave uh injustices, and we need to keep in mind that of course uh this is not only a genocide that is being perpetuated by the israeli regime, the israeli regime has the full backing of the western world, including the world's remaining superpower, the united states, so within this context, the palestinian refugees

in gaza, the majority of whom are actually palestinians from other parts of palestine, who are deprived of their right to return to their home, since 1948, are faced with this genocidal us-israeli regime that has um the most advanced weapons and the best technology that it has actually developed in order to be able to... to commit all sorts of unspeakable uh crimes and um the this was a form of a resistance from the side of of the palestinians on october 7 and it led to even more an unprecedented levels of israeli genocidal violence which i find difficult looking at the pictures of gaza from the last year even put in in words even describe this evil that has been live streamed from the past uh 12 years, 12 months, excuse me, indeed, well um, yeah, it is quite incredible

because we really have seen the true nature come out, and it's not just the regime forces who are doing that, the orders are coming from the top, and we have seen also within uh occupied palestine the way that the uh, not that this, this was new news, but the way that the settlements actually came out um severely coming down on palestinians there as a whole, but let's take a listen to uh some the palestinians uh in the west bank and see what they um have to say. about uh their state so to speak um as we're about to find out قعدونا هنا دفع بشره وصاروا يعني متوحشين يعني شو تقوللك وحوش وحوش ما شفنا زيهم مستوحشين ومدوا هذا الاسلاك على الدار جوا فجروها وهذا اللي صار يا اختي وقعدوا هنا وتجرت انا مثل ها العالم حكوا في اجتياح وحكوا في نشاط امني مسكنا حالنا وشردنا لانه معروف انه

welcome you to the program, ranjit bar, we just had a couple of palestinians talk about the experience that they had in the talk refugee. camp where it has now become common practice for the israeli regime to actually use drones and their homes were decimated because of that. there were number of palestinians that were killed. we that in itself in terms of the use of drones and the optic in the form and manner that the violence is now executed by the regime forces shows how the regime has increased its tactics which leads to more deaths and more destruction. what is your impression of the way that that has? since operation flood, which the one year is now just within days to come upon us. thanks for having me, good to be with you. i think it's um, it's been increasingly apparent, not only to me, i'm familiar with the history of israel, so none of this comes as news to me, but israel has unmasked itself before the world, the icj has

said that this is a genocidal regime, but whether they do or not, and whether the un is capable of acting. not, it's increasingly apparent to masses of people, to humanity of all nations across the world, just the true genocidal and frankly inhuman fascistic nature of the israeli regime. we had their ministers in the very first days, i think october the 8th, saying that the palestinians were human animals and would be treated as such that they would cut off food, fuel, water, electricity, all of the where with all of life, they would systematically expell people from palestinian citizens, human beings, men, women, and children, from the north of gaza to the central zones, then from the central zones to the southern zones, then from the southern to the western zone, and then relentlessly continuing to bomb, and quite clearly targeting, civilians, all of this has unmasked any semblance, any claim

that israelis might have had to humanity, to self-defense, to a retaliation, "the world is clearly seen israel is a criminal apartite settler colonial regime, it's thickest thieve with the british and us imperialists in particular, and it's doing their dirty work, yes a genocide against the palestinian people, but increasingly over the last days, and with the criminal, you know, assassination of national political leader, another national political leader." only ismael haniah, but now hasan nasaralah has, they've escalated the stakes and made it absolutely clear they incapable of living in peace with any of their neighbors and any actually human being, certainly any arab, any iranian, any palestinian who is not prepared to live as an abject slave, sure, well then

the couple palestinians that we heard from in that refugee camp from tulkaram uh the... regime forces had gone in there in order to, as they say, capture, they call them terrorists, we call them resistance fighters, but the way that the they have gone about doing this is aside from the tanks that blow up homes, or aside from uh these regime forces just bolting inside someone's home, they used drones to bomb uh the homes that they thought fighters or as they call terrorists were in, imagine sitting in your living room and all of sudden the whole thing just blows up, um, what does that say about the nature of the israely regime? that that it's prepared to count, i'm sorry, this is daniel ye, i'll come back to you a little later, i do apologize, daniel, go ahead, yeah, i think it's just a continuation of the ethnic cleansing, if we look at pictures from 1948 of the israeli regime and the zionist militias that existed before the so-called state was founded, they had expelled the vast

majority of palestinians from their homes, because the zionist colonial ideology always had the goal to take the maximum amount. of land and treated the indigenous people either as subhuman, as less than human or as not existing at all, in case the were able to ignore them. um, what we see today 70, more than seven decades later is heavily armed uh regime that is at the center of the global military industrial complex and possesses the most advanced weapons and technology to continue this ethnic cleansing and just the um situation that you mentioned with people sitting in their houses and being killed and bombarded by drones, and in addition to this, i would like to mention that at the same time as israel regime is now advancing its air strikes in the west bank, it continues uh its genocidal approach to lebanon where it has where it has displaced more than one million people just within the last uh two uh weeks and all of this put together we need to put

عدم استقرار المنطقه واعتقد انه الامور رايحه باتجاه تصعيد اكثر و وزيارته لن تخدم ولن تعمل اي شيء للقضيه الفلسطينيه when it comes to the u.s. israel the role of the us is not. as much as it should, except maybe in protests, but the us is just as guilty, if not more than the israely regime, for it is enabling the regime to carry out the massacer and the bombing, even though in public it displays compassion for the palestinians. well, israel has committed massacers so often that the icj has accused it of carrying out genocide against the palestinians, but the nature of the murders points to another gruesome fact, the israel regime forcibly displaces palestinians and and crams them into tight jam-packed corners with the aim of massacring them, with excuse that hamas fighters or command and control centers are there. let's take a look at one example, the almasi

massacre. the camp is situated that you see over here to the west of han unis, it's a tank mile or 16 kilometer strip of land along the mediterranean coast. it was first designated in early december as humanitarian zone by late august by the iof by late august 2024, between 30,00 to 34,00 people per square. kilometer were living there, now this is area that has no water, electricity or buildings to shelter. the first mention of this zone was back in october 18 when the iof pos the idf orders gaza residents to move in to that area that they call humanitarian zone, well that's what they did, but then another post from the 21st of october stated, if your life and the lives of those you love are important to you, arrive at the humanitarian area in amawasi, according to... instructions, well naturally, hundreds of thousands of people fled to that area, albeit in intervals reaching 1.8 million palestinians surpassing the limit. at this

point you have had what has occurred when you have all these people forced into area in which people are suffering from polio, chickenps and intestinal infections for that to actually spread, and there may be another reason for that, and that is the fact that you have that... type of a um situation being exposed to the palestinians when they have such diseases that more will be catching them as a result. well the almasi camp has been targeted by the regime forces multiple times even though it has been labeled to humanitarian zone and that's a pattern now declaring areas as safe zones pushing palestinians to relocate there and then killing them in total five israeli massacers that have occurred when you take a look at that uh at the alma have total of 217 palestinians to have been killed since may, but the amasi massacer could not be achieved without the us help, and it's bombs meant to level neighborhoods, you can see over here

what the bombs did there, these are bombs uh that created 9 meter deep craters covering radius of 350 kmters and as a result when the bombs hit it exploded but it ripped through flesh and bodies because these are bombs decide that are designed to level blocks and uh concrete but there were only people that would feeling the impact of these bombs.

hello, welcome back, uh, we have with us our guest from london, ranjit brah, who is an endovascular surgeon a consultant, vascular, and also we have daniel yejich from barcelona, author and researcher, um, we just uh covered this one particular massacre, and i'd like to ask you ranjit about this, where you have camp that's deemed to be humanitarian zone uh where aside from the fact that it has no infrastructure to tend to all these palestinians there, of which uh the regime has relocated palestinians a number of occasions spread across an area in han unis called the almasi as an example and yet they targeted it and not only that they used bombs provided by the us that uh were these two thousand pound bombs where it's supposed to

basically blow up uh concrete or building material, but there were only human flesh and tents there. what is your impression of the way that these types of massacers have occurred throughout the one year since operation flood has taken place by the regime forces? it's very hard to describe your emotions when seeing such atrocities. on the one hand, an abstract level you can say you weep for humanity, that we live in a world where such things take place, but you only have to take a step back to realize not. abstract situation is very real motivation and that we live in a world that is divided between nations of incredible wealth and power, the imperialist nations, where from the city of london and from wall street, enormously powerful corporations plan to divide the riches of the world, and in order to do so they must dominate the world, and through no fault of the palestinians, this was deal that was made by the lloyd george government in 1917, they signed the balford

declaration and... actually committed the palestinians to history, the palestinians to their great credit have refused to succum through their incredible self sacrifice and heroism, they are resisting, and in fact they're not losing, despite the atrocities of the israelis, they're performing these atrocities not from a position of strength, actually, but from a position of great weakness, where their entire economy, their entire society, their entire diplomacy is on the brink of failure. netanyahu is gambling, like on his last throw. the dice that he can stoke a regional war and draw in the united states and the europeans to do the physical fighting for him because failing that israel will cease to exist. the cia 20 years ago, 19 years ago published a document in which they said israel cannot continue to exist its current state of relations with its neighbors, it will fail and and this is this is happening before our eyes, so the level of their atrocities is a sign to me of their desperation and the inhumanity of a system.

which is prepared to live on the bones, on the literal bones of of men, women and children. well dan, you know, i guess that makes some good points, but uh, the mere fact that you have this war crime taking place through the displacement within the gaza strip on so many occasions in this case, i just picked one, um, and using the excuse uh, that we are targeting for example, hamas fighters or their command and control centers, uh, the proof uh, when it came up, even turned out to be false, "there was really notion of that in many of these massacers, um, and you had the us come out and support that uh uh, i guess uh, statements in in the defense of the israeli regime, why do you think that the us came out doing that, and did it really have any buyers after we saw this recur so many times? yeah, simply because the united states and the israeli regime are one entity in this case, the israel regime depends existential."
