الى اي نتيجه القتل يزيدنا وعيا وعنادا واصرارا. imagine waking up every day, knowing that the day before you have. murdered tens, if not hundreds of people, and that your mission for the day is to do the same. now imagine if you have been doing that every day for the past year, well that is what israely officials and regime forces in turn have been doing for a whole year. the october 7 one year anniversary. that is what we will be looking at in today's program, the atrocities that have happened, but more importantly, how the existential threat to the israeli regime, aside from the death and the destruction, is the fact that they are looking. down an

economic abys with the onslot cost increasing by the day, if not by the hour, why? because they have also opened up new fronts when it comes to this genocidal war, which at this point has transpired over the past year, and it has shook the world in terms of the world-based order, not even being applicable. some of today's highlights, operation alax of flood, changing regional equations, the true nature of israel and the us. as a result has been revealed, also the us, accomplice of of genocide to the israeli regime, in some cases maybe directing the israeli regime, then the israeli economy to have been decimated, the damage that it has done, credit rating downgrades, just one of the problems that it has experienced, large budget deficit as a result, because the war costs are accumulating, one of the impacts of this business closures, and another boycotting israel, which has gained momentum. throughout
10:04 am
this past year, even before the onslot began. next, the impact that this uh genocidal war has had on both the gaza strip and the west bank. we're looking at one example, the reconstruction for the gaza strip to top 80 billion dollars, some say that's even a small figure that is much higher, the west bank unemployment uh to have hit 32%, and then the of gdp loss in the occupied west bank minus 32.8%. time now for some social media posts, let's take a look at some of them that we picked for this occasion october 7th, first one leader yahya sinmar, the terror of the designs and their liquies, the next war will change the shape of the earth. this is what simar predicted actually few years ago, and it has actually begun to come true. next, just in case you didn't know it yet, this is a reminder that cnn and uh genocide joe's administration. both lied about beheaded
10:05 am
babies on october 7th to give israel the excuse that they needed to ethnically cleanse palestinians. then since october 7, 2023, the us has significantly supported israel. this includes military equipment and supplies, vedoing un security council resolutions, $12 and a half billion dollars in military aid, just in one instance, and the military presence, like the u.s. is gerald r. ford, on your own in reference to the picture. next, uh, the prelu to the video that you're about to see where australian people have reacted to 650 pages of palestinians killed by the israeli military in the gaza strip since october 7th where the first 14 pages were babies under one year. so i want you to hold these for me and i want you to tell me what you think these are. can you look at this and tell me what do you think this is? what do you think this is? no clue, i don't know, is
10:06 am
it some kind of voting thing, number? so these are the names of all the palestinians that have been killed since october 7th. it's the names, the birthdays of the people that have been killed since october 7th in gaza. and finally, another video, since october 7, israely officials have made calls to spread the brutal in gaza to lebanon. as of september 24, israely attacks on lebanon have killed at least 558 people. that figure by the way is... of
10:07 am
all right, those were some of the posts that we picked for you and the social media world. let's bring in our guests for the first segment of the q&a. joining us first is shabnam palesa mohammed. she is an award winning human rights activist, journalist and lawyer. take a look at october 7th, one year since operation also flood has been executed, the israeli regime year later. is finding itself in a quagmyer, especially economically, uh, the war costs have obviously accumulated for them, um, but their approach is that they don't want to stop them want to continue this aggression, um, why do you think they're taking that kind of approach and are opening up other fronts like uh, it's a war in lebanon, so the actual
10:08 am
agenda is what is you mistically called territorial expansion, but we should more accurately call it land and resource there. in developing what the israeli regime calls greater israel, and netanyahu and others have made it very clear that they intend to expand israel's alleged borders to encompass palestine, lebanon, syria, iraq and even saudi arabia. so this explains why israel has embarked on this genocidal and frankly psychopathic mission to now attack leban. while committing a genocide in palestine. in addition to that, israel, via netanyahu and others have confirmed their interest in establishing the ben gurion canal to rival the sewis canal, and in order for them to do this, in their minds, they have to decimate
10:09 am
the indigenous sovereign population of palestine or anyone or any country that happens to stand in its way. all right, thank you so much. for that, let me bring in our next guest, dr. garesha ismail suleiman joins us, post doctoral researcher, department of political sciences at the university of pretoria, she's also part-time presenter at muslim women uh, welcome to the program, dr. sulaiman, oh, thank you for having me, let's ask you about the fact that we're looking at uh, the one-year anniversary of this october 7th operation flood, and what your thoughts are on this, we're looking at the billigerant israel regime in terms of how it's acting out at the same time that it's suffering. economically getting worse by the day, it continues to want to expand the war now to lebanon, from what we have seen, which has been quite deadly. does the regime realize what it's doing to itself economically, which could pose a threat to the regime as a whole? so thank you for the question, what we basically need to understand is that israel
10:10 am
is now on the back foot and behaves as if it is in a vacuum, however its position of madness is strengthened by the leverage it has over the us and over western. leaders, whether by cororsion, blackmail or the indisputable fact that all of these states simply do not want designers thugs back in their countries, so they will do whatever it takes to keep them out, even at the cost of palestinin lives. what israel also has this false sense of bravado, a belief that it is invincible. you know, my dad always used to say, those whom the gods wish to destroy, they first make mad, and this is often used to describe, the self-destructive decisions made by powerful individuals or civilizations on the brink of collapse. now this is exactly where israel is. however, zihenism is neither a civilization nor does it constitute powerful individuals. what it is is a malicious cult with viral members. so the
10:11 am
reality is that it has no civilization values. that's why they steal, they plunder, they murder, they rape and they justify these actions and they do it over and over again exactly as you said. first in occupy palestinian territories, then gaza, now lebanon, and of course they've been doing it in syria as well, so the most abhorent trait is that they are a cult of liars. it's time now for the info news section of the program, we picked for this particular episode, um, all uh news in this section that's related to israel's. economy, including uh the gaza and the west bank. uh, first up, we're going to take a look at uh, what has been now plaguing israel and that's is credit rating. in this case, moodies has downgraded it. mudis investor service, you may have heard of it. uh, the sovereign credit rating has been downgraded, where it has cited israel's
10:12 am
persistent military aggression in the occupied territories, as well as it warmongerings and other regions including south lebanon, is based on moodies at the heart of this downgrade. now, another problem. the last year israel's extreme right-wing ideology has been plagued by internal divisions and also lack of consensus on key issues uh in terms of israel's economy the next entry is overall regarding that, how it's battered, you have 11, almost a year, not almost a year, year of a war that's battered the economy, one of the consequences of that, the gdp contraction by 4.1%, it happened right after weeks after october 7, operational flood, the downturn has continued into 2024 and it has fallen by additional 1.1% and 1.4% in the first uh two quarters at this point, in terms of the cost, that's our nextuh entry of uh this onslot, we're looking
10:13 am
how the israely war costs in terms of the onslot um has now reached to roughly $67.3 billion dollars and that's based a warning that has come from economist israel's budget deficit um has reached 8.1% um as of last july, the deficit is much larger at this point uh some of the reasons cited for it uh the are evacuees wounded and many economic needs that are not even counted into the cost of this onslot. next up, israel's gdp, well it has been affected in so many ways, um, the war cost could reach 10% of the gdp, it has raised urgent challenges for the israel regime because of it. now uh, let's take take a look at the long-term implications of uh some of these onslaughts cost. primarily, it involves a significant loss of wealth, that's pretty obvious. um, we're also talking about tens of... billions of dollars uh roughly 10% the annual gdp and uh naturally this
10:14 am
represents a substantial loss of wealth that will need to be paid one way or another and that's ski, how that's going to happen, it's anybody's guess at this point because israel is a war footing, well those were some of the items that we picked, we have expanded more on that in uh our in-depth section for example and uh perhaps in our reports uh so uh that is another thing i wanted to point out, now if you have a piece of news in your... part of the world with economic flavor, do send them to us, we really do appreciate it, contact information is coming up. in today's program, we'll be asking, is the zinus entity on the brink of collapse? the way in which they have lied and lied and lied, and people now say that is the kind of cat strays, they lie and they lie and they lie. has been uh staggering uh surprising to many uh and and it's only
10:15 am
become revealed and certainly the mainstream media tried to keep out of of focus is only become revealed gradually there were people writing about this very early on in in october but but it didn't get beyond the alternative media until much much later but now everybody sees that these were lies the status quo post october the 7th we're seeing airlines cancelling flights hotels half empty businesses failing um these israel business information company, coface bdi even reported that some 46,00 businesses have closed, it's time now for the indep section of the program, the economic damage that the us-israely genocidal war against palestinians has incurred on the israely regime is one that continues to get worse a daily basis, meanwile the occupied west bank and the gaza strip, they are also suffering from this genocide, and now the israel regime is
10:16 am
continuing down this destructive economic path by targeting lebanon. well, the following are some of the outcomes of the onslot, including the wars. first up, let's take a look at what has happened regarding a credit downgrade. four times the israel regime has actually experienced that moodies has downgraded it twice warning of a junk status. it also maintained a negative outlook, it warned of material. negative consequences for israel's credit worthiness in both the near and the longer term, this is top obviously of the other credit agencies that you see behind me, like fitchen moodies, all bad news for israel, like when it comes to getting loans. well, this is really war machine is in overdrive now that it has attacked lebanon, the work costts are spiraling out of control, warning by the economists has come regarding its gdp, when you add the economic war cost, it's... lasting uh the israeli regime 10% of the gdp, so that's quite a big number. next, the tech
10:17 am
sector in israel, over the year it has taken uh beating, not only because of this genocidal war by the way, but also because of lebanon, mind you, this is sector which began faltering before the onslot, these are some the figures that you see in terms of the economy, we mentioned the 10% gdp, 2023 investments, $1.3 billion dollars, was what it has been reduced to, the investment slump minus 53%, and then the venture capital is down 70%. imagine that, all of this for sector, that contributes 20% to israel's economy, so that's quite a bit of a hit to say the least that the sector has taken. now and one of the big biggest signals that this regime's economy is doing poorly is when it announced these uh closures. uh, we're looking at since october 7th, 46,00 businesses to have been closed. uh, that's a lot of businesses, i'm sure you agree. now,
10:18 am
top of that, it has predicted that once the year 2024 ends, up to 60,00 businesses may close. mostly small businesses. now given this scenario, let's not forget many of these businesses had loans out from israely banks like the one that you see here, israel's bank alumi. based on just the results of the fourth quarter, we're looking at $492 million in profits versus um the 2022 profits 2.3 billion. see how much of slump there is there. um now when it comes to the way that the losses have accumulated in terms of the... loans themselves uh we took a look at that uh we're looking from minus 84 million dollars okay uh that's now uh up to $180 million for the year 2023 quite a bit of losses when it comes just to the loans now here's a look at four different indicators that you see here the inflation rate of israel its employment rate then gaza and the
10:19 am
west bank in terms of their gdp the israely inflation rate as you can see is creeping up uh july 2023 upwards. you see there of around uh about 5%. now the unemployment rate, it's about a little over 60%, so that means bound 40 roughly percent of the israeli i guess citizens there don't have a job including palestinians to work there. now uh look at the gaza's gdp, as you can see from the year 2019 uh how it has slumped and it came to the big drop that you see in 2024, which is uh around uh almost 90% of drop that... you see there and then the gdp of the west bank also it has faltered, we didn't go through the specifics there uh, but in terms of just from last year up to the year that's coming to an end in 2024, looking at negative 35%. all right, so that gives you an overall view, some snapshots of uh what this genocidal onslot has done to not only the israel
10:20 am
regime, but also for palestine and of course the gaza strip. let's bring back our guests and see what they think. joining rejoining us now is uh our guest shabnam palessa mohammed. she is an award winning human rights activist, journalist and lawyer. all right, shab, welcome back to the program. so let's take a look at the genocide that has taken place in the gaza strip, including these uh now exploding devices uh that has happened in lebanon. you're looking at the the way that the israel regime is targeted there, and of course massakers that are now extending beyond the gaza strip. israel is making the world a less safe. place and i'm sure that has some impact in terms of this violent behavior on the world economy, what do you think? well, it is completely out of control, its inception, the us government may thought that may have thought that it could control the settler colony as a bunker in the middle east essentially to terrorize, control and leach resources from the countries around it,
10:21 am
but it has shown that it has grown far beyond the control of the us, and when you look at the power and influence of apec for... example, almost all the politicians on the us and on elections and on their so-called democracy, i don't think the us has any control whatsoever over israel, including the fact that mosad and epsteen, for example, have information which can be used as blackmail against us politicians and that's part of why they behave the way they do. all right, thank you for that. let's bring back dr. sulaiman, who's uh... active at the university of pretoria and post-doctoral researcher and at the department of political sciences. uh, welcome back. uh, taking a look at the israeli regime's behavior, it's quite telling how it is moved beyond the gaza strip, even though that's still being attacked by them, to lebanon, and perhaps uh to the wider region. surely this must impact not only the security of the economy of these regions, but maybe beyond. how would you
10:22 am
describe uh israel's violent behavior? doesn't it jeopardize the world economy uh ultimately? "well these two states are, that means the us and israel are pirate states, and considering that the world has allowed these two paris and monsters to grow, because literally everyone, i think every state at some point in their history has bow down to them and done some boot leaking, so i would believe that the consequences of this is that everyone will pay the price for negative impact on the economy, we are not going to be..." dead, trust me, there will be consequences, it's inevitable, and secondly, the only way to quarterize the cancerous growth, that is israel, the us, and many of these other races settle colonial. states is through the economy, you know, there's nothing better than to hurt the pocket because of the love for money, and this is the fundamental route of all of all of this
10:23 am
evil, people are put down for the benefit of financial gain. given the fact that this is october 7th, one year since operation allo flood uh has taken off over the past year uh we have actually had 80% of uh this program economic divide dedicated to the way that this is impacted. not only this really rashin but also the gaza strip and the occupied west bank and we've had uh so many good guests that actually made some great contributions, so this segment is dedicated, not dedicated, but will entail some of the statements um that we thought was important that might be of interest so that we don't lose uh the important uh information that was presented by them, so uh let's take a look at what these guests had to say, the nature of the war itself, the timing, the surprising element of how it started on october, we're going to take a look at some images now
10:24 am
coming through in terms of what is happening there in apparently bayruts, large plums of smoke that you see there in the skies indicate that this regime is pounding uh this particular area in beirot, we're not sure at this point what area that is, but obviously based on the image that you see there and our uh your... ation is just as good as ours in terms of what uh may be entailed in this uh strike um that it if it is characteristic if if we were to look at the powerful strikes that is really regime has uh done in the past days with the use of large explosives in particular bunkerbusting bombs like they have used in dahia in particular and now other parts of uh southern beirut. uh then uh this perhaps is the aftermath of uh that type of a uh uh missile being used um the large bloom of smoke indicates that a large blast has
10:25 am
taken place there to say the least uh based on what we know this is deadly strike that has happened there in the capital bayrut that's as much as we know at this point looking at uh some of the news coming through we still do not have any indications as to what has um specifically transpired uh in this uh particular uh again shot that we have of a strike to have uh taken place. we obviously know that uh the israel regime has been targeting different areas of uh the southern part of lebanon and also more now in a beiruts and uh this uh particular site that we see here uh obviously has been targeted. one of the most recent pieces of news that we have is uh the fact that we have uh seen uh parts of bairuta to be targeted for example, and i'm zooming in on bayrut since we are
10:26 am
looking at uh this uh area that has been hit there uh and that was the um left side of bayrut golden plaza for example that was hit yesterday uh of course one mariam sola joins us now perhaps she can give us better ideas to what was said m we're looking at this area that was sit in beirot do you any information on that? uh, well, it's um, sometimes very difficult to know to pinpoint exactly where, but now they're saying that this is in the area that is between the lilak neighborhood and the marigi neighborhood, and we know also that there are people that go during this time of the day usually, maybe to pick up somethings for their from their house and so on, so it is, there are fears that there could be civilians. in that area as the strike took place, um, of course the israelies have already begun what seems to be a systematic destruction of all of the area
10:27 am
of dahya or the southern suburbs of beirot, um, and this is just part of it, but usually they they issue certain warnings in certain times and most of the attacks were conducted at night, now it seems that these are the surprise attacks that they want to continue, perhaps in uh throughout the area of southern uh beirut. um because the it was evacuated, there were no casualties, and so now it's there could be casualties because it is in a time which is considered the the dead time or an hour where usually the israelies do not really conduct direct strikes in that area, and so this is what we know, we know that is from between the are, like i said the two neighborhoods of rej, they have been targeted before, and it was not clear what the israelis were targeting in that area exactly. because we we know that there was only an area where there was a vocational school and next to that school there were several residential buildings and compounds that were
10:28 am
targeted. addition to the targeting of an of in the institution, the main telecoms commun company for lebanon, the governmental company, its branch is in that area, that was targeted, there was even a police station, which is a for the government as well, it was also targeted and destroyed, as we know, there is, we are told there's a huge crater in that area, um, i visited one of the neighborhoods recently, and it was quite clear the the... all residential buildings, there's no proof, no known presence of any military or or anything that is that has to do with arms or weapons in those areas, and so this of course is just part of the israeli continuous systematic targeting of the southern suburbs and destruction seemingly, and we can see that even in 2006, the focus
10:29 am
was in certain areas where there for example you have the hall where hazbillah holds its rallies and so on, the focus was on there and the surrounding of that area, however this time there is no clear reason or reasoning behind what they are targeting and where and why, so it's it's very difficult to tell where they were target and why they are actually targeting that area and it's like i said based on my knowledge of the of the neighborhoods in that area they're all resident there only supermarkets and shops and so on. are we looking at the airport being targeted again? do you think and what were the reasons behind the airport? if i'm reading this correctly, some of the wires indicating that there's a possibility of that happening? there is a possibility of that happening, however, after the evacuation of foreign nationals, i think that this is this
10:30 am
is probably what's what's going to. be happening based on what we're looking and what the israelis and how they are conducting their their aggression on lebanon uh before in 2006 the first thing that was targeted was the airport uh now we had there were contingency plans put forth by the the main airlines in lebanon they removed actually lot the airplanes put them in turkey for safety reasons and after and it was still functional just until the aggression and the offensive big began on the southern suburbs of beirot and so once the shelling on beirot began and southern suburbs lies very close to the airport itself uh and so this is why it has impacted that movement, but up until now we do not have direct attacks on the airport itself, we know that there were several planes that were coming from abroad, of course one of the the first planes that was was there was the iranian uh plane that brought the foreign minister of iran uh saraki and he came very clearly and it it seems...
