israeli attacks since last october, most of them in the recent spate of earthstricks. it's day 366 of the genocide in gaza, the israeli military continues to pound the blockaded territory with more air and artillery strikes. in yet another massacre, the regime's military bombed, mosque housing displaced. palestinians in therul bala

central gaza living at least 26 people killed. nearly 100 others were injured in the attack. the palestinian resistance movement hamas can strongly condemned the attack saying the massacre amounts to war crimes with american cover. israely war planes also targeted areas in the jabalya refugee camp as well as bait lahiia in northern gaza living several palestinians dead and injured. the regime's artillery is also shelling areas in gaza in this. terminently the israeli aggression on gaza began in october last year, since then more than 41,800 palestinians have been killed and nearly 97 thousand others injured. as israel's genocidal war against gaza continues unabated, the palestinians in the besieges trip still show matchless resilience in the face of daily horrors impose on them. press tv's correspondent motiansaba reports. it
1:35 am
will go down in box that palestinian people in gaza faced one of the most horrifying genocidal wars that have ever been waged of against any people throughout history and remain. this brutal war on gaza is a continuation of the israeli massacres committed during the first nakba in 1948. it is not surprising for the israeli occupation to commit these crimes. however, we palestinians are resilient enough to survive and overcome the agonizing aftermaths of this war. "the opposite scene of this staggering scale of masskilling and destruction is the scene of resilience that has begun to unfold since the first days of the genocide in gaza. this astonishing resilience of the people stems from the unwavering plief they have in
1:36 am
their right to freedom and dignity. i have lost 18 members of my family. for us as palestinian people, we have..." no choice but to resist and remain steadfast, simply because we are the real owners of this land. we clearly understand that the israeli occupation wants to push us to leave and load life in this territory, but this is not going to happen, at the end of the day we will prevail. the palestinian people have realized from the beginning of their struggle that the undeclared objective of israel is to make staying and living in the... step unbearable for them, although the world silly shrugs of the israeli atrocities against palestinians, the resilience of the palestinian people in gaza amid the ongoing genocide and destruction offers a concrete evidence that the palestinian people are the real

indigenous of this land. press tv, the middle area of gaza strip. our correspondent muti abu mus. joined us earlier from the central gaza city of their balah with more details on israeli attacks. let's take a look. it's actually the northern part of gaza strip is still the focal area of the israeli genocidal attacks targeting elsewhere in gaza. as you now the israeli incubation forces are still carrying out their ground offensive against the jab refugee camp particularly the eastern part of the refugee camp. we are talking about continuous and heavy bombards that are still. getting various parts of the area targeting the palestinian residential buildings and as you know the last night was horrifying for the palestinian people were as at least 30 palestinian civilians have been reporttedly killed when the israel incubation forces embarked on carrying out that ground offensive shining is still heading is still
1:38 am
maintained heavily against those areas and as you know the palestinian people there are still a trapped under this continuous and heavy bombardments of the israel incubation forces and they are still being stop by the israel incubation forces which are still preventing inch of the humanitarian supplies to the people are still trapped there, the main reason behind this genosal attack and this ground offensive carried out against jabal refugee camp is to push the palestinian people to evacuate that refugee camp, it is the second time in a row for the israelic evition forces to carry out such a brutal ground offensive against jabal refugee camp, if you still remember that over the past three months the israel incubation forces carried out one of the most horrifying and brutal ground offense.
1:39 am
now going back to one of the top stories of this hour, we are now right now joined by robert lakish, press tv's correspondent in calgary, canada. uh, robert, welcome to the program. i'm going to begin by asking you the question of uh, what is the israeli regime's endgame here when it comes to attacking civilian infrastructure and killing civilians uh, in its wake? well, evidently this is
1:40 am
collective punishment, which is being waged against the levanese people, like it was waged against the palestinian people as well. we see in the gaza strip a bare minimum of around 42,00 people have been. killed, the vast majority of those are civilians of course, in lebanon as well, this is the same thing, this is why they are blowing up dia, that's why they are taking down residential buildings, not with... regular munitions, no, they have decided to use munitions, chemical munitions even, which are banned, in order to carry out their attacks and their strikes. now, if israel had some kind of military objective here and an end game, we would see that they would be performing lot more military operations, perhaps deep into lebanon and they would be trying to penetrate, but what we've seen is the israelis have played uh their hand perhaps too soon against hezballah with the terrorist
1:41 am
pager attack uh which they conducted of course uh through getting into the supply line of these pagers and then the day afterwards as well we saw these walkie talkies going off and then after that with series of assassination strikes now beyond of course points scoring and this was very you know devastating blow to hesbollah of course it's not something that would take out the military wing of hezballah or the political wing of hezballah. it's something that is of course damaging, which the group has admitted, but it's not something that would result in decapitation of the organization. that's just not how it sets up. so now israel must wage a campaign of terror similar to how it did against hamas and how it continues to do against the palestinian people by extension, because ultimately they view everyone. uh inside of lebanon and everyone in gaza as a potential um target, they are uh
1:42 am
the real targets of this campaign, their infrastructure is the targets, their hospitals, their uh electrical grid uh their houses, that is what israel is aiming to do, if you look at what they've been doing, for instance they announced their ground invasion, we're almost heading into a week now of this alleged ground invasion, every single time these israel's attempt to penetrate the border with southern lebanon, they are repelled and now we see that they're again attacking and assaulting jibalia refugee camp after a terror bombing campaign that we saw yesterday uh which killed over hundred civilians all up and the last time that this happened uh the hamas, islamic shihad and other uh armed factions in gaza repelled the invasion uh pretty... forcefully, so it is expected that there will be heavy clashes, lot of ambushes, and then
1:43 am
perhaps after few weeks the israelis will again withdraw from jabalia after lighting homes on fire and killing civilians with air strikes in other areas uh and blowing up buildings for no reason because they don't like to exit their tanks, you'll see the they're too scared uh to engage on the ground uh face to face um and they like these sort of attacks which are... punishment, there is other way to say it, absolutely right. now could israel's actions uh push more factions across the region to join the resistant groups here, whether be it hamas or hizbollah? well, of course, we've seen if you look at the gaza strip as an example, we've heard from sources within the resistance groups themselves that for every fighter that they've lost they've gained essentially two. uh because there are many people now in gaza after suffering through a genocide uh who are
1:44 am
of age and are ready to be trained and will join a resistance organization any chance they get because everything has been already taken from them of course they are going to uh want to fight their oppressor and do what they can to repel these attacks because they've been left absolutely defenseless, the israelis have targeted civilians, it is a war against civilians and we've heard that from the very start, that's why the case in the international court of justice uh has uh succeeded at being accepted that the international court of justice the judges unanimously uh came to the conclusion that south africa's case was valid, this is um a possible genocide, that's the way they have accepted this, because it is an all out attack on civilians, and when you do this, instead of the what the israelis believe, that you will somehow kill the spirit of the people, and you will be able to defeat them, all that happens is that the people have their backs against the wall and they simply
1:45 am
want to resist more, they have no other option, it's either you're going to wait to die or you're going to try and resist in some way shaped form, and that is what we see from the people, it's no difference in lebanon, it will be no difference uh, there will be no difference if they choose to attack syria and advance into syrian territory, there will be no difference if they start a massive air strike campaign throughout iraq and... of course there has been no difference with ansar allah in yemen, and if they choose to attack iran, it's not going to deter uh any the elements of the access of resistance from or the people that support them, from supporting them, in fact it is just going to increase the support, if we look in lebanon at the moment, where for years the nation was divided, and of course this is very divided along sectarian lines uh country historically as well, looking back to the civil war for instance, now we have seen in this uh in this current uh phase of the conflict since october 7 last year, one year ago, that the
1:46 am
lebanese people have been united like never before, yes uh, so it has not worked. to achieve that goal uh, the collective punishment of breaking the backs of the people and turning them on each other, it does the very opposite. now you were going to the direction of my next question, uh, this was it, are we likely to see a significant escalation here with everything that is happening, you're attacking uh lebanon and then the hezbollah movement will attack ha? um, mean the titfat, will it lead to much bigger escalation here? i believe it will, the... israel is are absolutely adoment on carrying on this conflict, we heard back in july, benyamin netanyahu, the israeli prime minister, declared that he would achieve total victory, and that's what we've seen them trying to enact, they want to appear strong, of course the western corporate media is celebrating the pajor terrorist attacks and celebrating the assassinations that the
1:47 am
israelis have been carrying out throughout the region, not just limited to lebanon of course, and of course... so as well there is celebrating the attack on lebanon too, as if 2,0 people plus have not just been murdered in lebanon, so the israelis are embolden, they have the full backing of the united states, the united states is not interested any form of cease fire in gaza or anywhere else, they see what they they think is a golden opportunity to achieve some kind of 1967 victory over the axis of resistance and to appear strong, they want to... undermine the strength of iran, the image of iran specifically, it's very clear from the language that is employed by the israeli prime minister and others in his regime, that the ultimate goal, the end goal is iran and to undermine iran, and also to shape the opinions of the arab regimes as well in the region and put them into submission
1:48 am
basically, to make them submit to uh have them fearful of the... consequences of going against the interests of not only the israelis but the united states, so they will continue, there will be escalations. of course, in the case of lebanon with lebanese has below, what we're seeing is that they are playing out a strategy at the moment, which has various elements to it, they know that it's going to be a long conflict, and so they are operating a basis that it will be a long conflict, and we're seeing that incrementally new kinds of operations are, taking place, that there are new calculations, new types of missiles, different targets that are coming uh into the fold, and the israelis most likely as well, when they're losing on one front or they're being batchered on one front and their soldiers are dying for instance, they'll move to another, and it is very likely that we'll see as well them escalate with some sort of attack on iran soon that is
1:49 am
expected too, because they're completely out of control, and the united states uh is fully backing them and everything. they're doing, thank you for your expertise, much appreciated, that was robert in lakesh, press tv's correspondent in calgary, canada. now israel's genocidal war has not only devastated the gaza's trip, but has also intensified violations in the occupied west bank, where land confiscation, water shortages and settler violence have reached alarming levels. over the past year, these combined crises have heightened the suffering of palestinians, as israel's inhumane policies continue to tighten the grip over palestinian land and resources. now hamed has more in this report. as the war on gaza rolls into its second year, global calls for accountability grow louder. the one movement that has surged into influence during this

time is the boycott divestment and sanctions campaign, bds. a grassroots people's initiative aimed to pressure. bring israel to comply with international law through economic and cultural boycots. since its launch in 2005, the bds has involved into global force, and amed the ongoing assault on gaza, its relevance and impact have become more profound. this approach is crucial in isolating and weakening israel, stripping it of legitimacy and curbing its regional ambitions. israel seeks dominance in west asia through diplomacy, technology and industry. but boycotts and sanctions can hinder its move. recently, israel allocated over 500 million dollars to counter the international impact of the boycott movement. as a peaceful resistance. boycott unites justice seeking people from all backgrounds, making it a key tool which can be exercised by average individuals across the world against the israeli aggression. in 2023, the
1:51 am
bds campaign targeted companies like puma and helued packed for profiting from the occupation. over 200 organizations called for puma's divestment and 22% of european universities backed bds pulling millions from companies involved in israeli settlement. major firms like ben and jerry's and g4s ended operations in the occupied territories and european pension funds divested billions from israeli banks tied to the regime's settlement expansion. there has been progress in the boycott movement, but the occupation persists because it remains profitable with little international accountability or effective sanctions. while improvements are noticeable, more effort is needed. the boycott was once more widespread, but now there's a growing popular boycott in arab and muslim countries, which we hope continues as the true nature of the occupation becomes clearer. but despite its growing momentum, the bds movement has not been without

opposition. governments including the united states and germany have passed anti-bds legislations, labelling the movement anti-semitic, accusation denied by its supporters. as israel's military operations in gaza escalate, the influence of the bds movement has reached new heights. it's... is no longer just a protest, it's a global response to what many see as human rights violations, and the pressure is mounting on companies and governments alike. naqa hammed reporting for press tv, ramallah. the leader of iran's islamic revolution has awarded the order of fat to the commander of the islamic revolution guard core aerospace division over the anti-israeli operation true promise 2. i to say that... gave the award to brigadier general amir ali hajizade during a ceremony. the fat medal is a symbol of successful operations by the soldiers of islam and

1:54 am
on october 1st, iran launched a massive attack against israel in retaliation for israel's assassination of hamas leader ismail han on iranian soil as well as the assassination. israel rushed to say most of the missiles were intercepted and that there were a small number of hits in central and southern israel. now after nearly a week, reports are being published that prove iran was successful in achieving its targets. according to an analysis by british daily newspaper, the guardian, iran has proven it can hit israel hard, if it deems it necessary. the report said that footage and images analyzed by the guardian showed at least 32 missiles directly hit the nevatim airbase in the negav desert. some landed

close to hangers that house israel's f-35 jets. among the regime's most important military assets. it also added that the islamic republic could have targeted a city such as tell aviv, but it didn't want the result to be fatal. another report by an activist group called the gray zone says israel has tried to conceal the damage from the tuesday night missile attack. the group released footage of two missile strikes. it says one of them hit a quarter mile from the nevatim airbase and the other hit some 100 away from musad's headquarters in tel aviv. according to the grey zone, israeli officials have made no mention of the second hit and have tried to coordon off the area to prevent access to other possible impact sites. israel's anger after the attacks with its prime minister benjamin netanyahu releasing a statement vowing with shaking hands that the regime will respond severely is for itself an indicator of the damage done by iran. iran,
