military aggression in the occupied territories as well as this war mongerings in other regions including south lebanon is based on moodies at the heart of this downgrade. now another problem uh last year israel's extreme right-wing ideology has been plagued by internal divisions and also lack of consensus on key issues. in terms of israel's economy, the next entry is overall, regarding that, how it's battered, you have 11, almost a year, not almost a year, year of a war that's battered the economy, one of the consequences of that, the gdp contraction by 4.1%, it happened right after weeks after october 7, operational flood, the downturn has continued into 2024 and it has fallen by additional 1.1% and 1.4% in the first uh two quarters at this point, now the cost, that's our nextuh entry of uh this onslot, we're looking how the israely war costs in terms of

that, it has predicted that once the year 2024 ends, up to 60,00 businesses may close most. small businesses, now given this scenario, let's not forget many of these businesses had loans out from israely banks like the one they see here, israel's bank lumi, based on just the results of the fourth quarter, we're looking at $492 million in profits versus the 2022 profits 2.3 billion, see how much of a slump there is there, now when it comes to the way that the losses have accumulated in terms of the loans themselves uh we took a look at that uh we're looking from minus 84 million dollars okay uh that's now uh up to $180 million for the year 2023 quite a bit of losses when it comes just to the loans now here's a look at four different indicators that you see here the inflation rate of israel its employment rate then gaza and the west bank in terms of their gdp the

israel inflation rate as you can see is creeping up july 2023 upwards where you see there of around uh about 5%. now the unemployment rate, it's about a little over 60%, so that means around 40 roughly percent the israeli, guess citizens there don't have a job, including palestinians who work there. now look at the gaza's gdp, as you can see from the year 2019 uh how it has slumped and it came to the big drop that you see in 2024, which is uh around uh almost 90% of drop that you see. and then the gdp of the west bank also it has faltered, we didn't go through the specifics there uh, but in terms of just from last year up to the year that's coming to an end in 2024, looking at negative 35%. all right, so that gives you an overall view, some snapshots of uh what this genocidal onslot has done to not only the israel
