there are also reports that the restaurant in haifa has suffered a direct hit. the israely military presses ahead with its ariel attacks across southern lebanon, more than two weeks into the regime's aggression against the arab country. in beirut, israel planes targeted several areas, including a gas station in the dahia area. there was no immediate report of casualties. the israely military also struck gomatia in central. on, leaving at least six people dead and number of others injured. the regime says it's attacks which have intensified in recent weeks, target weapons depot and military infrastructure belonging to hisbollah. lebanon's health ministry says over 2000 people have so far been killed in israeli attacks since last october, most of them in the recent espate of earth strikes. our beirot correspondent mariam. saleh joined in

us earlier with more details and the latest israely attacks across southern lebanon. let's take a listen. around an hour ago we heard sounds of very loud explosions um and there was a very heavy uh strike on the town of kamati as well as the town of kaifoon. these are towns in the area which is in mount of lebanon. it is outside uh the area which is... usually targeted in the southern suburbs of beirot, the mount lebanon area was usually in the past areas where the displaced seek safe haven, especially from the southern suburbs of bayrut, and so you have them basically jam-packed with displaced people, especially from the southern suburbs, we know that the result of that shell, that shelling included six marters, including women and children, of course we are still waiting for details to know ' exactly how many murders
3:34 am
and injured and so on. you also have the fact that the israelis seem to be now preparing to try in other areas they have failed to try to invade or to launch incursions into the eastern side of the border, more towards aadaise and maras and yarun. there is an expectation that they might try on the western side, which is closer to the towns of itarun for example, andremesh and ramia. there is an expectation that they might do that, but it seems that hazballah is also targeting and launching their rockets on all the bases that are near the border as well. our correspondent robert inlakish earlier joined us from the canadian city of calgari with more on israeli aggression against lebanon and the lebanese resistant response. let's take a list, well evidently this is collective. the punishment which is being
3:35 am
waged against the lebanese people, like it was waged against the palestinian people as well, we see in the gaza strip a bare minimum of around 42,00 people have been killed, but vast majority of those are civilians of course, in lebanon as well, this is the same thing, this is why they are blowing up dahia, that's uh why they are taking down residential buildings, not with regular munitions, no, they have decided to use munitions, chemical munitions even which are banned uh in order to carry out their attacks and their strikes, the israelis are impulden, they have the full backing of the united states, the united states is not interested any form of cease fire. in gaza or anywhere else, in the case of lebanon with lebanese hezballa, what we're seeing is that they are playing out a strategy at the moment, which has various elements to it, they know that it's going to be a long conflict, and so they are operating a basis that it will be a long
3:36 am
conflict, and we're seeing that incrementally new kinds of operations are uh taking place, that there are new calculations, new types of missiles, different targets that are coming uh, into the fold and the israelis most likely as well when they're losing on one front or they're being batchered on one front and their soldiers are dying for instance, they'll move to another.
3:37 am
it's the 366 of the genocide in gaza, the israeli military continues to pound the blockaded territory with more air. and artillery strikes and yet another massacre, the regime's military bombed mosk housing this place palestinians in the rod balah central gaza, leaving at least 26 people killed, nearly one 100 others were injured in the attack, the palestinian resistance movement hamas is strongly condemned the attack saying the massacre amounts to war crimes with the american cover, israeli war planes also targeted areas in the jabalya refugee cam as well as beit laja. in northern gaza, leaving several palestinians dead and lot of others injured. the regime's artillery is also shelling areas in gaza indiscriminately. the israeli aggression on the gaza strip began in october last year. since then, more than 41,800 palestinians
3:38 am
have been killed and nearly 97,000 others have been injured. our correspondent motian joined us. earlier from the central city of dirul balah with more details on israeli attacks, let's take a listen, it's actually the northern part of gaza strip is still the focal area of the israeli genocal attacks targeting elswering gaz, as you now the israel incubation forces are still carrying out their ground offensive against the jab refugee camp, particularly the eastern part the refugee camp, we are talking about continuous and heavy bombarms that are still heading uh various parts of the area targeting the palestinian residential buildings and as you know the last night was horrifying for the palestinian people were as at least 30 palestinian civilians have been reporttedly killed when the israel incubation forces embarked on carrying out that ground offensive but the israel shining is still heading is still maintained heavily against
3:39 am
those areas and as you know the palestinian people there are still a trapped under this continuous and heavy bombardments of the israel incubation forces and they are still being starved by israel incubation forces which are still preventing an entry of the humanitarian supplies to the people are still trapped there, the main reason behind this genocidal attack and this ground offensive carried out against jabal refugee camp is to push the palestinian people to evacuate that refugee camp, it is the second time in a row for the israelicubition forces to carry out such a brutal ground offensive against jabal refugee camp, if you still remember that over the past three months that israel incubation forces carried out one of the most horrifying and brutal ground offensives. that was a wide refugee camp and it left the entire refugee camp completely destroyed and devastated and as israel's genocidal war against gaza continues unabated, the palestinians in the besieges strip still show matchless
3:40 am
resilience in the face of the daily horrors imposed on them. press tv correspondent muti abu musabe reports. it will go down in box that palestinian people in gaza faced one of the most horrifying genocidal wars that have ever been waged against any people throughout history and remained. it is not surprising for the israeli occupation to commit these crimes, however we palestinians are resilient enough to survive and overcome the agonizing aftermaths of this war. "the opposite scene of this staggering scale of masskilling and destruction is the
3:41 am
scene of resilience that has begun to unfold since the first days of the genocide in gaza. this astonishing resilience of the people stems from the unwavering belief they have in their right to freedom and dignity. i have lost 18 members of my family. for us as palestinian people, we have no..." but to resist and remain steadfast, simply because we are the real owners of this land, we clearly understand that the israeli occupation wants to push us to leave and load life in this territory, but this is not going to happen, at the end of the day we will prevail. the palestinian people have realized from the beginning of their struggle that the undeclared objective of israel is to make staying and living in the strip. imbarable for them, although the world still shrugs of the israeli atrocities against palestinians,

regime's accountability, calling for an end to the violence and urging the international community to act. the sham of western democracy has been exposed. um, and i think a lot of it has to do with the fact that um, war is profit, and us and western australian interests are being protected. so... um at the end of the day if they wanted to change things and they could sanction israel and do what they've done to russia with the ukraine. it's a double standard. the pro- palestine demonstrations over the past year have become... the largest in australia's history, with numbers growing steadily every week. determined movement that will not be silent until australia cuts its tires with the apartite state of israel and the australian government stops its policy of uh condoning and being complicit in israel's genocide in gaza and its invasion in lebanon. this week's protest saw a large participation of children

as families brought the next generation to join the movement. many here believe that... "the call for justice and peace must be passed on, ensuring that future generations are both of their of the ongoing struggles and prepared to stand against injustice. there's no protest in australian history that's lasted as long and has been as big as this. pro-palestinian groups in australia are set to hold a wigel on october the 7th, to mark one year since the escalation of violence against palestinians by israel. forces, these groups are also raising concerns about the australian government's perceived complicity, calling for stronger action and accountability in response to the ongoing genocide. as the israel's actions escalate, the global demand for immediate cease fire and justice for the people of palestine has grown stronger. there are

increasing calls to hold responsible the perpetrators of war crime. shahanabat. press tv, sydney. toronto's famous yungan dunda square was packed in all directions as thousands descended downtown in the latest mass anti-israel demonstration, this time, marking year of resistance and renewing the call for canada to end its complicity in the crimes of the israeli occupation. we are out here today. running thousands and thousands of people in the street of toronto to demand cease fire first and foremost in gaza and to stop the genocide, which is been going on for almost a year, it'll be year and two days. i mean, a time when israel is escalating things and it looks like the us is intent on green lighting new war in the middle east, uh, in order to basically reset and stop the decline of american imperialism, uh, and our
3:48 am
government is going along with it, they're giving diplomatic cover, there's still arms deals going on with israely. even though that they're saying that they're doing an arms embargo, um, so we're here to denounce canadian complicity. political organizations, unions, students and neighborhood associations, and range of communities organized pro-palestinian rallies which came together in a single voice, that is to express the urgent need for immediate action to be taken by the government against israel, and to cut off all resources to the regime. we certainly don't think it's acceptable that one nation oppresses, occupies and in fact engages in genocidal practices against another people. i mean, we're not the big player, but we are a player, and we should not be complicit with this government in in israel that is engaging in genocide and trying to provoke a bigger war. demonstrators

remember the tens of thousands of victims in gaza, and also the victims in lebanon and in syria. protesters also called for an end to israel's aggression against lebanon in order to stop further escalation into a regional war. among the many campaigns was a campaign of hundreds of trade unionists who are raising awareness both in their workplaces and outside about the necessity of fighting for an end to the bloodshed in gaza. we are trying to show that the trade union movement is support of the uh struggle of the palestinian people for a cease fire. we want to end the arms. from canada to israel and we are fighting very strongly for uh an end to the war and the end of the killings that we're seeing in gaza and now in lebanon. every aspect of life has been um completely destroyed in palestine by israel, and so it is essential for workers here to say, we will not participate in the genocide of the

palestinian people, and as workers, we identify with them, um, our pensions, our pensions. are enrolled in in funds that fund genocide, that's unacceptable to workers, so we're fighting that, we don't want our money, the work from our labor to go toward the genocide. today's marge kicks off series of actions that will include vigils, student walkouts, and other protest actions over the coming week to raise consciousness and to pressure the trudo government to fulfill its international commitments to stop this genocide. toronto. israel has launched multiple error and missile strikes on central syria reports indicate that crew. missiles were fired from the northern lebanon with israeli fighter jets also involved in the assault. earlier our correspondent in the maskeus ibrahim wahti gave us more details

syrian army sites and military bases ambulances and fire fighting teams rushed to the place to the locations of the explosions after the after the large fires erupted in and they are still trying so far to control the fire, we haven't heard yet of casualties, but such such an attack, israel has tried to downplay iran's attack its military targets in retaliation for the regime's violation of the country's sovereignty and the assassination of resistant leaders, but reports by some western media and analysts prove otherwise, we have a report, on october
3:53 am
1st, iran launched a massive attack against israel in retaliation for israel's assassination of hamas leader ismail hanye on iranian soil as well as the assassination of hezbulah secretary general sayyad hasan nasrallah and irgc commander abbas nilfurushan. rushed to say most of the missiles were intercepted and that there were a small number of hits in central and southern israel. now after nearly a week, reports are being published that prove iran was successful in achieving its targets. according to an analysis by british daily newspaper, the guardian, iran has proven it can hit israel hard if it deems it necessary. the report said that footage and images analyzed by the guardian showed at least 32 missile. directly hit the nevatim airbase in the negav desert. some landed close to hangers that house israel's f-35 jets. among the regime's most important military assets.
3:54 am
it also added that the islamic republic could have targeted a city such as tel aviv, but it didn't want the result to be fatal. another report by an activist group called the grey zone says israel has tried to conceal the damage from the tuesday night missile attack. the group released footage of two missile strikes. it says one of them hit a quarter mile from the nevatim airbase and the other hit some 100 away from musad's headquarters in tel aviv. according to the grey zone, israeli officials have made no mention of the second hit and have tried to coordon off the area to prevent access to other possible impact sites. israel's anger after the attacks with its prime minister benjamin netanyahu releasing a statement vowing with shaking hands that the regime will respond severely is for itself. an indicator of the damage done by iran. iran, however, warned of much harder attacks with more advanced missiles if israel responds and targets iran
