congress what makes you think that voters in your district or any district really are ready to elect a candidate outside of the two party system well the surveys have been taken in this country so far indicate that about forty two percent of americans are fed up with both the democratic party and the republican party i mean when you look at what happened under president bush a lot of support of president bush and his war talk to voters. what they did fiscally was not acceptable you know with one point now they're saying one point five trillion dollar deficit every year. americans are not happy because they don't run deficits at their homes i mean you can run up some credit card debts but what happens is you then have to take back. a country can't take back groups or. the country takes what would be or could cripple she go backwards

or a lot of bad things happen to it and it's called things like over depression you were actually a long serving chairman of the republican party he. here and you dropped that affiliation and why is that because because of the the problems with the republican party line it always towards money i will not sacrifice principle for expediency or for money and my sense was the republican party has done that they've certainly done that in their choice of nominee i mean he's a nice guy he's a friend but they have picked him because he can sell finance and you know when you serve the party for six years and then none of the leadership will come out and say hey we want to give you at least an even break. then i say i've had enough i'm with the wrong party and my sense is that there's our great amorphous mass out there that's looking for some leadership that will not look at things through

who you talk to but those are organizations that are in place add to that couple that with the r. and c. in the d.n.c. the national. parties come up with that they're political folks that are in office they all make a difference for example just in the republican party alone there are three hundred members of the republican party city committee here. you know i don't have utilization of those folks anymore because i'm an independent now you feel that the federal government has gotten too large that it's too intrusive on states' rights and one of the main issues behind your campaign is to quote unquote protect the constitution you seem to to link those two things how they intertwine where the tenth amendment is to me is so critical because if you look at the at the fight that's going on right now that's why i got the phone call from the attorney general last night ken cuccinelli. his fight against health care it's an intrusion into our
