nineteen sixty seven has no legal bill that it constitutes a serious obstruction to achieving a comprehensive just and lasting peace in the middle east if that's the u.n. security council resolution then what international law are you abiding by with your settlements. ok there have been other international people who have also lawyers. and other people who have said that the settlements are not illegal including the american administration and i think everybody knows how biased the un is against israel and that's all that's a whole other discussion but i think what's happening here now is really very strange what's going to happen in the next ninety days because especially for israelis who see it very very clearly this isn't a peace process all right if it was really a peace process the u.s. wouldn't have to buy anything it wouldn't have to lean on anybody because israelis want peace more than anybody else but we've seen over the years of use of the the palestinian incitement in the press and towards their children naming streets after suicide bombers showing maps that replace israel with palestine that what's going

on here is really a process of appeasement but if you and i had a stance really similar to what you have come to happen in the middle east told me about this if nothing else it's right that a peace broker such as america washington d.c. can sell weapons to one side of the conflict if it is supposed to be the peacemaker here. look if you want to talk about selling weapons you can watch the united states sell weapons to saudi arabia and to everybody around the world if we're going to talk about follow the money then if between oil and weapons selling you've got lots of big businesses and lots of people who would like to keep conflicts going because they line their pockets again that's an issue for a whole other show right having really very little to do with israel and the lot to do with the rest of the world but what's happening here really and this is has israelis very much perturbed so what's going to be in the next ninety days and what bothers us also is the principle because if the principle is that this is a peace process and therefore in order to get it going we need to stop settlements people are left with the idea that the settlements are actually the obstacle to
