7:00 pm
this past weekend millions of americans were turned on to something that should have been obvious keeping you safe protecting you from terrorists and hunting down criminals are mere excuses for the american police force which exists primarily to raise revenue for the government and control the population in other news marijuana is still illegal but cops don't know what it is we'll have that story and some advice for how to prevent rape from india the man the myth the legend grover norquist is in studio tonight i actually shook hands with him he's real stuart rose of oath keepers also join us tonight to tell us about his memorial day event in tucson for slain marine was
7:01 pm
a viewer e-mail and will help me consider my legal options after my little dance off with the cops last week and it was just a few short years ago that al gore going to the inner webs and they're already under attack we'll fill you in on obama's attempts to kill freedom on nine and a bit about my attempt to restore freedom of dance you're watching versus the man. tonight we're going to kick off the show with a story of a wrongful arrest and sewing off so for once that doesn't have anything to do with me robin brown was praying on a bird watching trip burning sage in the native american tradition praying for peace. but her way home was a little less than peaceful when she was stopped by sheriff's deputy dominic ramadi and was took her sage for marijuana and use it as an excuse to search your car they
7:02 pm
say that he was on sure if the safe was marijuana after he tested it positive on his field kit and let her go now to court records the assistant state attorney mark warner ordered her arrested three months later when ray monte showed up at the massage envy were brown works and took her away in handcuffs as she said they arrested me in front of my customers my boss and my coworkers she was later subjected to a body cavity search a strip search and an overnight stay in jail as it turns out the seed was never even tested in the lab they were kind of supposed to do on the idea that they were confiscated in the first place she is now suing and i hope she wins but sadly i'm not hopeful and see the drug wars turn the rule of law and its head and there is more guilty until proven innocent than the other way around here's the really messed up part no accountability will come from this in any other job if you screw
7:03 pm
up as bad as the assistant state attorney mark warner in this case did you lose your job but according to the sun sentinel the circuit judge john bowman dismissed the case saying that prosecutors are given immunity from lawsuits in the course of doing their jobs and other police state news missoula is standing up to ice that's right you see our benevolent overlords and government have to protect us from dangerous information have been shutting down websites but this company mafia m a f a created a plug in an ad on the firefox called fire for the firefox web browser that lets you get around these bans he says because what it does is it takes you immediately to alternative domain so when you go to a band website instead of seen this domain has been seized by and all the crap legal jargon that they put out there when they do that. you were automatically taken to a site and basically just saving you the trouble of finding the place that the
7:04 pm
information that they were trying to suppress has got up anyways because the internet is just that awesome the developers did this to demonstrate the futility of doing seizures and succeeded but now the department of homeland security has asked firefox to pull the plug in and they are this obeying that's right their legal team said that there is no legal basis for the question since there's no warrant no court order they have decided not to comply makes me proud to be using firefox and i support them for sticking to their guns on this issue so in other news you know i have to apologize to not have for not being actually better prepared for tonight's show but after what happened this weekend as you can imagine i've been a little bit busy with with me requests and i was actually did an interview for freedom watch on fox business the answer in a pilot's home earlier today and we wanted to have him on our show to talk about
7:05 pm
this case from a legal perspective you know finally what are my options for being subjected to wrongful arrest from being picked up in body slammed by a police officer being choked on the floor for dancing at the jefferson memorial at one when that it wouldn't you want to hear from the judge about this what do you see here what his take on this is from from a legal perspective i was told that it is thoughts policy he is not allowed to appear on other t.v. networks but wait a second i'm on russia today r.t. america here with adam vs the man and i'm allowed. allowed to appear on his show interesting little little little difference or could it possibly be that because the pro-government network fox doesn't believe in freedom as much as russia today does the show the network that's hosting freedom watch. versus russia today a little bit worse in there so i tried to ask him this question during the interview
7:06 pm
and they actually cut me off and i'm really concerned because if i love the judge judge of all tonto i think you're amazing i love your show i love your message your commitment to liberty is beyond reproach. well i'm honestly a little bit concerned that someone is trying to turn you into perhaps controlled opposition i wish i'd have a chance to ask that question on your show but if you want to prove me wrong if you want to show that fought to play want to change their minds if the if your overlords at fox want to let you give you the freedom of speech and association to come on this show and tell us what you think about this you're always welcome oh yeah and the rape thing in india a woman cut off a man's penis for attempting to rape her and then delivered it is evidence to the police department yeah would be rapists in india had better think twice well really anyway.
7:07 pm
in one thousand nine hundred five grover norquist founded americans for tax reform at the request of president ronald reagan they organized the taxpayer pretext fire protection pledge which simply asks all candidates for federal and state office to commit themselves in writing to oppose tax increases and this congress two hundred thirty seven house members and forty one senators have taken that pledge and when i was a congressional candidate i signed the pledge and was even a invited to attend one of grover's infamous wednesday morning breakfast as a candidate but as much as i try to avoid being mistaken for a serious journalist i guess as part of the the media i'm no longer welcome but his weekly wednesday morning meetings bring together the best minds of the conservative movement takes place off the record at the americans for tax reform conference room right here in washington d.c. he serves on the board of directors of the n.r.a.
7:08 pm
national rifle association of america the american conservative union the nixon center and go proud he is a contributor to the american spectator magazine president of the american society of competitiveness and has altered two books rock the house and more recently leave us alone. getting the government's hands off our money our guns our lives he has earned one of the highest titles an american can possibly achieve right erion huffington dubbed him quote the dark wizard of the right's anti-tax cult however he is better known still is the man who said i don't want to abolish government i simply want to reduce it to the size where i can drag it into the bathroom and drown it in the bathtub going out was the man himself mr grover norquist grover thank you so much for being on the show you know what when i went to your your once there breakfast you had someone fill in for you you're out of town we shared a stage for ron paul speaking at the rally for the republican minneapolis and i
7:09 pm
didn't get a chance to me then i tried i was i was getting worried i was afraid that you were like a figment of everybody's imagination you were just too stupid our fall to be real you're impact was too much and it's an honor to have you in studio tonight and to get to meet from person to lead to be on your show so tell us about the leave us alone coalition this is this is this is really exciting the way that you've captured it here a shirt when people tried to explain sort of the reagan republican conservative movement they used to say three legs economic conservatives social conservatives foreign policy conservatives. told you a little bit during the cold war what's that what's a foreign policy conservative today they have other principles is it somebody who wants to occupy iraq or somebody who said reagan wouldn't have done that and then a different approach is what i think is a better way to understand and more nuanced and better predictive in terms of understanding what the movement will do is to think of it is a group of people sitting around a table everybody who votes as
7:10 pm
a reagan republican right conservative. is there on their vote moving issue and on their vote moving issue but they want from the government is to be left alone that's how you find a vote moving this what you find out what moves their issue i mean there's some people i serve on the board the national rifle association their vote weaving issue is the second amendment the single issue gun single how they are affecting everybody at the end of the dead single issue voter because candidates have many existed at some point one issue is what kicks in over what is a. second amendment a lot of people vote on guns of homeschoolers about two percent of population biggest issue for them is being able to educate their children at home and a lot of people it's taxpayers as tax very low taxes and there's also people that have a lot of other people who for whom most of the things like this are deal breaker issues first and you can't but at the end of the day it's just a lot of people around the table may be there for three or four reasons but some are only there for one reason some people want to be left alone in their
7:11 pm
professional lives and businessman women professionals who don't want to be regulated or taxed out of existence all the various communities of faith people from the most important thing in their life is practicing their faith and raising their kids so that they're all they want to be left alone there's one thing you left out he said money guns lives what about pot smoking conservatives well i think there are a lot of people who would like to be left alone in that zone and right now that has not because of the two party system and it up there's not a voting bloc yet there you see it initiatives there's some issues that can pass as initiatives like no racial preferences passed this initiative in california russian state michigan way before elected officials would touch it with a ten foot pole the taxpayer movement started as an initiative campaign not votes in congress but proposition thirteen in california so the twenty three states that can put something on the ballot like decriminalization of marijuana or. medical
7:12 pm
marijuana those things have passed in various states with majorities but the legislators would were not comfortable doing that so some get some issues are not front and center yet. in campaigns but they're but they're pushed into the political agenda through the initial process all perhaps more so than the drug war and it seems like a lot of conservatives are start to realize having two million americans and jail making us the least free country on earth by an actual standard of measurement here for for drug offenses is not conserved matter how you cut it it's not a fiscal conservative approach the situation but on foreign policy too and this is something that you've been actively involved with very exciting to see because there is now a coalition building of people who believe in a true taft goldwater ron paul ronald reagan even conservative foreign policy that's we're not going to impose liberal big government on nations all over
7:13 pm
the world tell us about that how's that come into play in the in the coalition that you're building well you certainly see it there a lot of people polling shows you that two thirds of american conservatives and tea partiers republicans think that everything that was done up until now in afghanistan was a good idea and we should do something dramatically different the future very interesting really what happened last week. and what i think you're seeing is people who don't want to dish the sacrifice that was made by soldiers today don't even want to second guess bush on the station to go and that's sad but ok that's sad we don't do something different let's bring him into the spring i would say let's build a whole that i think that that's an opening for conservatives to say. what are we doing what is winning look like and why are we doing that's one of the alternatives and then in the option with that afghanistan is clearly we don't need to be spending one hundred twenty billion dollars that's what we spent the last year and
7:14 pm
twenty billion dollars to occupy a country whose g.d.p. is about four billion dollars i don't like that it sounds kind of silly doesn't it i don't know how you do that and we haven't exactly been making friends and the reason we were told that we had to be there was to make sure that al qaeda did not break in afghanistan turns out it was operating out of pakistan you. know i think a lot of you now have to invade pakistan but but the idea that holding territory in this kind of conflict makes it right of sense is look i'm all i've done is asked some questions and a lot of people go you know a lot of us question and that was the problem during eight years of bush a lot of republicans conservatives libertarians thought well that's a republican in office where yeah and of course you know it seems now a lot of conservatives are realizing that the fourth also we have now really amounts to a welfare program for the military industrial complex all right this just we just have a second one tell us what is the pledge to the taxpayers protection pleasure and you know how is it achieved through the relevancy that it has to taxpayer
7:15 pm
protection pledge is a very simple written couple of sentences i wish taxes no net tax increase congressman senators presidents governors state legislators sign the pledge versions for all the different offices yeah yeah because the federal slightly different state and governors and president's promise to oppose veto as opposed to oppose and go to against and what we've done is made it easy for elected officials to communicate to their voters and say i have signed the pledge but if a politician got up and said i don't want to raise taxes. what did he what did he just say did he really green live snow to attack it is promise not to raise taxes or do you say rather like taxes i'd rather not raise taxes all right not exactly a commitment the pledge is a written commitment same wording used in all fifty states and thousands of campaigns and that makes the commitment more real easier to enforce i'll stand with
7:16 pm

where we are really. and you know. you know sometimes you see a story and the seem so sleep you think you understand it and then it's in something else here's some of the part of it and realize that everything is just. i'm sorry there's a big. say . what drives the world the fear mongering used by politicians who made decisions. break through if it if you made who can you trust no one will is him deal with the global machinery see where we had a state controlled capitalism is called factual so when nobody dares to
7:18 pm
ask we'd kill r t a question more. let's not forget that we had an apartheid. i think. even funnier well. we have the government says they're for keeping safe get ready because freedom. internet only. do the work of the brain trust.
7:19 pm
i have every right to know what my government sure get annoyed i think taxes. i would characterize obama as a charismatic version of american except. in the lives. joining me now is adam vs the man military analyst fellow veteran of the united states marine corps and fellow member of j. thanks for joining us tonight so we have a special guest on the phone that we are only able to have i phones and i because he's such an incredible activist stuart rose is on the road travel we're very fortunate to have him with us today for
7:20 pm
a recap of an event that the oath keepers hosted this past weekend on memorial day to celebrate the life and mark the tragic death of was a fellow veteran of both iraq and afghanistan who was killed by a swat team serving a no knock warrant on his home for what they said was a drug conspiracy charge turned out there were no drugs discovered in the house but when the door was broken down because they were new was standing there at something or rather simply being ready to defend himself with his own rifle the swat team immediately opened fire firing seventy one rounds of the first report that came out from the police department of this very disturbing yeah yeah it was really anybody he said one thing to say he's a marine also he was a marine and the first report said that his the seals of the swat team members were riddled with bullet holes before before they they they had to say no he didn't
7:21 pm
fire a shot his gun was on safe and safe the entire time it's is it the outrage that comes out of the jury just kept kurten you and you only really get the b.s. believe anything they say he has that was coming. one of the p.r. people that put this together was ninety minutes i mean they're doing so we've c.b.s. like this was the crap we were fed about the iraq war so ok the government just keep feeding us more and more garbage you would think you would think the police force isn't sort of a nonstop campaign mode or something the amount that they lie anyways stuart do we have you are stewart if you could tell us a little bit about the event that you posted this weekend and how it went from the oath keepers here through there yesterday and we rallied about a mile from the home and it was our freedom under told people most of them veterans but quite a few of them were also hearing it out in the burbs and friends and we marched to
7:22 pm
the drum to the house but northward colors we presented his wife with our condolences. if it turns out loud for people that were there with. the upright. it was one of his relatives for the fourth amendment and that's why we were there we figured there's no better way to honor our war to them to stand up and defend the constitution they all swore to stand as we do so i still over there to defend us i could and it worked in particular i saw you got some pretty good general press coverage out of this from the local media sources how was your event received by by friends and family in civics own by the sheriff's department who has been lying repeatedly about this who are trying to get some accountability for what was the reaction that you've seen of this event so far. well from the family they are overwhelmed with gratitude they're very grateful we were there. and the recompiled i have actually have a play uncle who is
7:23 pm
a retired deputy canny sheriff's department oddly enough and he was was one hundred percent true it's put us that if the same thing happened and so on he would react the exact same way and so there's an initial reaction was it sure that we worked for twenty years or so anti-god if we go right to bear arms at all it's not a surprise at all the you know that you're so callous towards gun owners that's a kick in their doors and give them no time to identify the beast and then shoot them on sight if they dare to resist seward let me do stuart this is jane you know i as i as i listen to you and as i'm compelled by the story and seeing that i mean police at times using sesa force we've seen it many times as it happened adam recently you know. one of the things one of the things that kind of kind of makes me draws a nerve in me is not this was done a memorial day memorial day is for that trans who died overseas and not veterans that died here i just think that perhaps that might have been bad taste
7:24 pm
disrespectful or and you know going to explain that like i said like i said a good deed i tell you a better way to honor the war dead than to make sure that what they fought out there fighting overseas communism and fascism does not come here and it is telling you survive two tours overseas and he died of a hail of gunfire is or isn't better off giving shot an iraqi when he got medical attention quicker from a from a brave corpsman that he got here is less so for an hour as a child that's a sad to know it was funny that it was. but well as jake alluded to stuart i had some legal troubles of my own over the weekend and i know we've discussed this so i want to take a second though just for our viewers who bite out of seen the footage of let's let's roll that clip and they will come back to you stuart if you go. ok let's go get the clip from this past weekend. question of free speech.
7:25 pm
in the world comes to the speech it can't be. the way the office. yes we did not go to a cohesive ending he said it was a very cool thing to came to our because there was someone's right and they are allies when it comes to standing up for free speech and expression the award that was medea benjamin with her friends i got buried swain quietly getting arrested these are the other organizers that see going down here that. i mean i who are they arrested him to stop those terrorists that his wrath what are you doing and saying the officer well you're answering are going to eat on their head well to be fair you know we were dancing and all the tourists were complaining you have to stop these terrorists or leave it at all here i only have i see we're dancing i think he was trying to get me to do the robot here in randleman couldn't jackson and i did i
7:26 pm
don't know what is there. a poem all right so there's the body slam there's a truck you know i actually if you notice my voice being a little bit a little bit off. i throw was still there was any way stuart. what do you think about this now what do you think about this the act of civil disobedience and dancing where the government doesn't want you to. i keep going to work or i'm very creative with. it all right so if. you're going to help me out here though we're going to we're going to release at least as counsel least give me advice how are we going to get there accountability for this because you know oath keepers would not have done this and why right there of course you know are it's absurd first of all we're the law if there is you can only move your feet or certain manner or as you as you base your cross but trial it across the moral it would have been forget anyway but what you would have redefine marriage is ridiculous there were a lot of what i want to go and they're going out there trooper first the barber.
7:27 pm
outstanding list of people at the great work keep fighting for our rights and making sure that the veterans and active duty service members and especially the ones in the police force think twice about their oath to the constitution before committing violations like this as it were not that my offenses anything worse than anything close to what happens the grain of but it's the same root cause of having a police force that doesn't follow their oath of the constitution doesn't respect the rights of individuals but i was as most of you are now aware i was body slammed choked and arrested at the thomas jefferson memorial this past weekend for silently making some vaguely rhythmical body movements well within my first amendment rights but rest assured citizens my silent movements were put to a stop before they were able to terrorize the nation that said the sense in free expression is the very highest form of respect for the life long champion and founding father concepts and not to take the dull be
7:28 pm
a line of being with us or with the terrorists but wasn't it the taliban that was all hardline about illegal dancing so about the whole body slamming and choking me thing you know what let it go you guys are very good dancers i get it you're forgiven ok. nice bad sorry about your penis common saying for something obviously which you know there's a lot of pent up anger there for good reason seriously no hard feelings i want to look at the bright side of this and you know i thought it was a really fitting tribute to the late macho man randy savage for me to be body slammed in the granite there but no more freebies you guys want to try to take me again will throw down not only motto that i'll take all of you at once and it still won't even be a fair fight for you but you'd better remember your dancing shoes as i'm fine dance off style in one corner we've got the first amendment you know that whole mess about no laws being made abridging free expression or press in the other corner
