this once again flared up. these are the images the world seen from the streets of canada. for racial rule today. if you were at all concerned about national security have no fear according to our own military analyst jake negative neo con nancy a deliberate oh the army is about to get a lot less gay will have that for this one time a blue cancer fund molineaux dance on the grave of a v.w. that's anthem for more global warming we've got all eighteen holes of fail from the obama golf trip with banner a little blowback from libya you know bombing civilians tends to have effect the. same people often magine that let's see we've got a special edition of you the viewer and something about flooding and of how our nuclear nuclear power plants somewhere in the bronx but don't worry we will respect
7:01 pm
the media blackout here on adam vs the ma'am. all right so we've already been over how obama's kind of lost some of his hit back there with the college crowd and now that it's not to say that he's not going to keep a good chunk of his voters hypnotise going into two thousand and twelve but when eighty percent of college graduates are moving home. we've already thank the parents today so please don't forget to thank them again when you move back in with them. when c.n.n. asked c.n.n. asked obama's chief campaign strategist david axelrod how he intends to make obama cool again he said quote i find it is cool to be an obama supporter having sat with
7:02 pm
him for two years in the white house and watched him watching him work through some very difficult things with a lot of intelligence and grace and equilibrium i have great admiration for him you know working with equilibrium really cool sounds more like a man crush love has a funny way of seeing past little things like the hidden youth oppression unemployment more wars the price of gas food and clothing renewing the patriot act failure to close gitmo and a bailout for wall street and i guess i guess we can we can axelrod here can be our version of baghdad bob. the believe that we know with this is. so with the youth vote in jeopardy obama the brilliant strategist is hard at work on the other segments that the left the pens on right whoa obama
7:03 pm
had promised to return to the annual conference of the national association of latino elected and appointed officials. in the state now three years in a row turns out this year he was too busy playing golf with republican house speaker boehner that's right now reportedly it helps create. a more diplomatic relationship between the two so. no they can get back to screwing over the american people in a more bipartisan manner obama brought the vice president and boehner brought ohio governor taseer to complete the foursome obama just take elated biden was confused boehner cried and it was eighteen holes of epic fail speaking of failed south of the mason dixon on one senator lindsey graham has been throwing a temper tantrum over libya lindsay stands by his longtime imperialist cohort john mccain unsurprisingly as usual demanding that the us tax dollars police the globe
7:04 pm
regardless of cost and with blood and treasure all to keep their sponsors happy with more welfare for the military industrial complex so ran a can of been publicly mourning the rapid demise of neo conservatism in the grand old party lamenting the isolationist feel they see taking form on the debate stage even as mitt is mitt romney's sort of soft positions have taken a decidedly ron paul ask shape the consensus from the candidates it's time to quit spending money and come home but this doesn't sit well with the hawkish well for wrists and the hundred year war crowd so now senator graham thinks all of the g.o.p. candidates are left here's the quote if you think the pathway to the g.o.p. nomination is to get to barack obama's left you're going to meet a lot of headwinds. newsflash this just been liberal nation
7:05 pm
building is not conservative spending taxpayer money on other nations when we're all on the verge of the fault is not conservative lindsey why are you actually conserving here clearly not our bill of rights you know that annoying freedom part of the constitution you don't like free speech is a great idea but we're in a war. i am utterly baffled as to how a big government liberty hater with the girl's name became a senator in south carolina of all places and then again mccain here is sitting in barry goldwater seat perhaps the truest illustration of just how far we've fallen meanwhile ron paul continues to steamroll the establishment despite the scorn of neo con colleagues and an adversarial mainstream media even as government called baby boomers blew the congressman the message was clear this past weekend at
7:06 pm
the republican leadership conference the youth and those who actually care about the future san behind dr paul the aral sea straw poll in new orleans close out with six hundred twelve votes for ron paul a healthy lead over second place finisher jon huntsman who finished with three hundred eighty two votes and mr kendall himself at romney took fifth in a whimper of only seventy four votes some of what is the down from when this whole thing last time around for romney when he spent millions to bus supporters and to win the whole thing by one vote ron paul also gave a great speech about the nature of government force in the rise of libertarianism within the g.o.p. so why is the broken unemployed parentally subsidize that burdened youth like dr paul's message well. it liberals love it you know you what is fair and equal economically but the principles say the same if somebody comes along
7:07 pm
and tell you i don't want you to do this or that and you'd be better for your family if you didn't play cards or doing else or whatever else. and having passed the ninety day mark of the war powers resolution obama is now officially in an illegal war in libya and continues to expose the american people to blowback nato apologized this week for a loop see accidentally striking a civilian home with a missile a mishap that resulted in at least nine deaths and many more injuries living officials fired back that nato was intentionally targeting civilians in an attempt to turn them against gadhafi and many including italian foreign minister franco frattini fears that as the quagmire of libya continues it is officially a quagmire now it's officially a quagmire. nato will begin to lose the propaganda war against the libyan dictator whose government promptly released the following statement through state run media
7:08 pm
in a sign of moral and religious bankruptcy and military defeat the warplanes of nato staged a barbaric air attack against an otherwise peaceful residential area and for police killing three members of one family how much collateral damage will libyan civilians tolerate is nato models about the nature of their own objective is the basic foreign policy principles here hitting a beehive with a stick doesn't kill the queen it just pisses off the entire colony and in this case potentially creating a swarm of new would be terrorists all right so joining me now for this one time a group camp our own adam was a man military analyst jake negative neo-con and deliberate zero. if you go to my blog go. see your. face let me thank you. carrie.
7:09 pm
and i'm. a long time since we had a little b.s. about who came well you said you you got a little telegraph from the n.c.o. line here yeah well this aground i'm not the lance corporal underground with n.c.o. underground armies getting a little less gay the army is getting a little less gay guess what's happening. you know that french and ask don't tell me you know that french french painter had where they were you're kidding. they decided to no longer make it necessary field equipment it was field equipment they were all those guys you have better fans there were no have a cover like helmet and a parade for what. finally the army decided oh apparently we don't need this extra credit you know i don't see this very often about changes in government policy
7:10 pm
regarding anything but i feel a little less safe knowing that our soldiers are where embracing the feeling and we go on to say you know less government policy less government head gear head gear and i'm going ok with that i know this lady would think hot off the press a little you know who's this who's this beautiful female marine corps colonel we got on the screen this is a slightly less attractive version of g.i. jane and she is now at least more powerful it's a colonel and she is general now ready to sue to be general and she is going to be taking over marine corps boot camp at parris island amazing well. good luck fellas because that's. oh a little dicey but that's what there's some serious we want to cover tonight through right check out what secretary gates said this weekend all right you're hearing this from bachmann and you're hearing it from huntsman there does seem to be something of a rush for the exits and it does seem to be a war weariness it's not just the budget. of course is war where has the country's
7:11 pm
been a war for ten years. this country's been caged in two wars every day four and a half years i've been secretary of defense. so i fully appreciate that believe me there's normally nobody more war weary troops two wars for half years while he's been in charge we haven't won either one he's listened you know that to like it but he's the best one we've ever had he's a real good guy he wants to get us out and he's a lot of good pay for the troops he said that we don't need to cut his family programs and training that is a smart the secretary defense he gets my support. eight. bruce. ok all right. all right all right. when i got back from iraq i only began to question our government's foreign policy and after get in trouble for
7:12 pm
bringing a pistol back and being just disgruntled enough to start questioning things i was ready to do some serious soul searching as well as some directive analysis and came to the conclusion that seems obvious to everybody now the war in iraq has not been in our nation's best interest. back then i get death threats for taking that position i join iraq veterans against the war because veterans have a duty to speak out from their experience when there is a critical lesson to be learned from it i was honored to stand a federal have so many very beliefs and backgrounds coming out of the illusions of our service looking for answers many of us who are moderate conservative or libertarian bent but the ones that advocated liberalism got the most support from the broader anti-war movement which is primarily an anti bush movement funded by the likes of move on dot org another big liberal foundations that funded i.b.e.w. directly i would know i was on the i.v. deli board of directors and until i left to return to my republican roots as a congressional candidate sadly principled conservatives who were against the war
7:13 pm
in iraq stayed mostly quiet through the bush years the co-opting of the organization i v w and the anti-war movement as a whole is actually very similar to the co-opting of the tea party and in both cases what started as a principle that grassroots movement became something partisan one of the consequences is that the principled members of the movement who don't align with the agenda of those co-opting are shut out and while most of us believed in the core mission of iraq veterans against the war which was to bring the troops on from iraq i honored the policy to stay on message many of the lefties not here's one particularly offensive example. you want. and. this does not represent me this does not represent iraq veterans against the war
7:14 pm
and this does not represent a principled anti-war position. it seems that despite being co-opted discredited by infiltrators and then abandoned by supporters after obama took office we stood firm on the right side of history and i prevailed with public opinion but there are still tens of thousands of troops in iraq pissing your tax dollars into the sand and there's still troops with post-traumatic stress disorder being sent back for multiple tours so i support iraq veterans against the wars current effort operation recovery a campaign to stop the deployment of traumatized troops and while iraq veterans against the war will never be as relevant as it could have been they are still doing good work and i encourage veterans to check out i v w dot org if not i v w please make your voice heard as a veteran you could join us veterans for ron paul two thousand and twelve on facebook if you are a constitutional republican who wants to get involved in politics if not iraq and afghanistan veterans of america i order is also a great place to start regardless we as veterans and patriots have
7:15 pm
a duty to honor oath to the constitution and ensure that our nation will never forgets. the lessons of our experience and it was that when we get back we'll have to follow dancing on the grave of ethanol more victim global warming with some recent revelations a little bit on the pending nuclear disaster in of rask us and a special you the viewer you're watching adam vs the man six. but given that we had an apartheid regime right here. i think. well. we never got the look says they're very safe get ready because of their freedom.
7:16 pm
you know some love to see a story and it seems so sleep you think you understand it and then you glimpse something else and you hear see some other part of it and realized everything you saw going on charts the big picture. welcome back to adam vs the man we've been seeing different reports throughout the day of some flooding and some floodwaters rising the round the brownville nuclear
7:17 pm
power plant just south of omaha nebraska where there are concerns that rising floodwaters will cause a. potential a vent that would cause the nuclear plant to be shut down there are concerns among people in the area as well that numbers number of coal fired plants and other nuclear facilities there are going to be affected by some of the recent weather issues that they're facing and in some cases that power will not be available to larger areas this is coming now on the heels of so sad press story today that's making the rounds and causing a big stir and from social preselector quote time after time officials at the united states nuclear regulatory commission have decided that original regulations were too strict arguing that safety margins could be eased without peril according to records and interviews basically it takes a look back at the history of nuclear power regulation here in the united states and how the government has given license to power plants operating and given them
7:18 pm
sort of remove them from what would be free market accountability and a lot of people say well you have to have more regulation have to have better regulation and here's here's the problem with this is that it this is the analysis that you won't see in around the mainstream media because they're afraid to get away from the status paradigm of needing government for public safety i mean this came about after world war two when we started seeing the rise of nuclear power in the united states and regulatory industries or regulatory agencies were put in place because somehow the people were convinced nuclear power is such a threat such a dangerous thing you have to have the government look out for what was really happening was the government wasn't regulating something that was already going on or making it safe but rather removing the accountability that you would naturally have for from the free market for nuclear power for any economic activity so
7:19 pm
in a true free market. if you wanted to open a nuclear power plant you would have to have a certain amount of insurance in order for to be at all feasible and a role for government oversight at that level might be appropriate but the gist of the story from the associated press is that all of these regulations have basically been bribed out of existence and this is the problem with government being the regulatory force as opposed to the free market scene the free market if you had to have accountability to insurance companies and the customers when the risk level gets too high when as as we see in the story a gene equipment power plants becomes a threat in and of itself it has to be replaced because no one will insure it without charging a lot more for the potential damage that it would cause so this is something that we hope to get into a lot more thoroughly in on the show on adam vs the man because it's a very important economic concept that a lot of people seem to be missing and hopefully as well hopefully we don't see these stories with the rising floodwaters around power plants and address could be
7:20 pm
any worse although there has been some effort to keep information coming out in the age of the internet a leap that happens at nine am we'll be all over the world by noon so we're going to be keeping track of those we're going to be coming back to this and exploring some of the ways that the free market would either shut down nuclear power by forcing the economic resources to be diverted to something safer or provide the kind of accountability that would prevent what we're seeing here as a consequence of the federal regulations which effectively become meaningless when people are able to bribe them out of existence and then go on with what they would be doing anyways all right so joining me now is stuff on molyneux host of freedom a radio to talk about some of the latest hits to the cult of global warming stuff on thank you so much for joining us tonight thanks ed all right so we seen some of the some more data adjustments that are coming to light but this is nothing new since since global warming has become the massive political football that it is
7:21 pm
there keep we see massive holes poked in the scientific arguments behind it what is the significance of of these latest data adjustments that we're hearing about. well they cover up a much larger issue around global warming which very few people understand it's not talked about in the mainstream media global warming at its very worst case scenario can attribute only about one degree celsius over the next hundred years to manmade global warming the rest of the catastrophic information comes from multiplying from well you know it's one but if things are going to escalate and get worse so let's apply a factor of five or ten or whatever to that but the worst case scenario is that one degree one degree in a hundred years and even that is somewhat contentious but the idea is that the system is not going to react to that one degree so if you get a one degree increase in temperature then you get you know you get more greenhouse gases but that should provoke more growth in plants which should clean out the greenhouse gases but they all assume that things are just going to snowball and get
7:22 pm
worse and worse which is not really the case with most systems in nature and when you put an imbalance of one it tends to adjust that the other so the global warming scare is around a mathematical multiplier that doesn't have any basis in critical evidence that can be gleaned from the past at least well this is about flood levels there are water levels right now they're saying that the water level adjustments that there is some natural rise in the water level are supposed to expected now thanks to global warming if it continues or something it's going to go up five four but even even that threat was shown to be insignificant when you look at the actual landmass but it is they're trying to impose this is as a as a fear tactic great well there's no question of better men and i've been around of the planet long enough but this is probably my twelfth or thirteenth major ecological scare that was rachel carson's silent spring originally of course it was global cooling and then it was global warming and now it's just climate change and there's just been so many there was overpopulation and then it was running out of
7:23 pm
every natural resource no demand ever supposed to do worldwide starvation by nine hundred eighty even al gore's book in one thousand nine hundred two said the disaster was going to hit by twenty ten and we sailed past that now so it's sort of comes. these end of the world preachers you know the world is going to end at two pm on sunday and into a fire pit just revised their estimates downward a little so this is the same sort of thing that you see it's you know maybe there's something to global warming i don't happen to believe that there is i think it's mostly solar related because you can see warming temperatures on jupiter and i don't think there are a lot of s.u.v.s on the gas planet so i think it's more to do with sunspot activity and i'm certainly not alone in that it's not even my thesis but sunspot activity solar flares and so on have a lot more to do with the temperature then you know gas plants or coal plants in china so that's my particular spec if you just get tired of being scared by all of this nonsense and it is a front for massive increases in government power that is what is always all with the end result is no matter what happens we need more government to solve it and yeah it was the largest polluters in the works really stuff i'm please don't be so
7:24 pm
hard on al gore he did invent in our website after all and you know there are that's why we're talking. there you go but there is a certain gullibility element here in terms of people who are brought into this and i think really george carlin pointed out better than i ever could the idea that we're going to save the planet you know we're going to save the whales we're going to save this or save that like we the people the infinitesimal speck on the surface of this massive pile of rocks somehow we are going to save the planet from what appears to be at least primarily a natural phenomenon there's got to be something else behind this though i mean what. there are obviously people who stand to benefit in the immediate short term from an increase in government power from an increase in government control an increase in government spending an increase in book sales or having a popular documentary but is that what's really behind this what's really driving
7:25 pm
this. well you know not to get overly psychological but i think it's got something to do with the fact that religion has called it a way for a lot of people and in religion the sin of pride and the sin of wealth and the sin of achievement were all punished by thunderbolts from the gods this is been a very constant theme throughout human fables throughout history you think if you're it's flying too close to the sun his wings fall off and he crashes with death and they build the tower of babel to find guard and it crashes and everything so this is idea that if you do too well as a human being the gods will punish you and the success of the industrial revolution and the increase in wealth in technology it's called growth anxiety in some circles the idea that when human beings start to do well they sort of begin to panic and then they expect retribution from the guards i think that translates to global warming and all of the other environmental catastrophes that hang over us like a literal sort of damocles and i think it comes from that sort of religious impulse that if you do too well pride goeth before a fall old look we're able to eat and we have
7:26 pm
a roof over our heads that mean must mean the gods are going to smash it sort of drown or something like that but i will thank you very much for ryan's tonight's the fine print. and look i look forward to seeing you at port fest this friday yes it's going to be great outstanding that was the fun on a host of freedom a radio all right outrage continues to sweep across spain as hundreds of protesters hundreds of thousands of protesters take to the streets in opposition to banks and austerity measures being implemented by the spanish government over two hundred thousand protesters and growing are on a thirty five a trek through dozens of cities in a march that will colony on july twenty fourth and madrid you know it's a good time to protest when you can march through cities and people spontaneously decide to join you know that employment over twenty percent there i guess people have a lot of time to kill like other protests in europe much of the rate is fueled by the economic turmoil we're seeing around the world from high unemployment rates to austerity measures being put in place by central european governments to massive bailouts to friends of government as the monetary and fiscal crisis continue the
7:27 pm
ripple effect i have little doubt that eventually these european style protests will be coming to america and fortunately for barack obama he's been able to keep unemployment to ten percent as promised to what. you promise to keep it under. eight percent we are they reporting nine something percent on unemployment oh. so so why don't they just adjust the for real again. why doesn't obama think that that will believe anything. are all right anyway according to shadowstats dot com and what we all known are gods unemployment in the united states is actually around. twenty two percent so are we just waiting for that spark here in the united states when it comes and people decide they've had enough and it's vital that those of us
7:28 pm
who believe in freedom for real reasons of principle not just pragmatism are there to ensure that what happens here in america is distinctly american and the coming revolution in america is based on asking the government to be an agent of theft for well intentioned welfare programs we'll be back on the road to serfdom and word that slavery and subservience and now a very special edition of you the viewer are first comments and comes from an e-mail from ryan and jenny right adam the wife and i have been watching the show since the very first episode nice job so far you've had some excellent guests on your show you should dedicate more time to each of them and not cram so much material into a single half hour show let the well spoken influential ones open up and go into detail this will take a load off of you and allow you to sit back relax and with the right questions at the right time and also badger them with some of the sarcasm you're so good at serving up entertainment is an important element if we intend to waken the sleeping masses thanks for everything you've done for freedom brian p.s. tell luke it's called a library not a library aside from that little detail he's definitely
7:29 pm
