wall street movement we receive reports that at least twenty people that went into a city day to close their eyes were arrested by plainclothes police officers inside city day but because in speaking to all those that have come out onto the streets today to voice their anger their frustration with the way that the u.s. system is run here is a little bit of what they have to say. you know for from obama or her friends and anybody in congress should or they do there in congress she is poor and paid for her special interests is the ones who control the government is will ensure right legislation right now perforations are kind of running the government by funding political campaigns and in this politicians get into office and of course they're going to do what's in the corporations best interest because that's who's funding them and that's who's giving the money and the people are kind of left in the jobs people aren't getting which. it is are people are still struggling they work their

come to do is disperse these protests because they say this is private property they have no right to remain here now as for the protesters earlier today there were reports of almost three thousand people being present there certainly well over thousands talking to them in terms of an ache an end goal is their kind of past a little bit disorganized but to be serious that's not really the point the point of why they hated days is because it's just to register their anger nass really was galvanizing all of the manga that their money taxpayers' money is continuing to be spent on bailing out banks they're angry that the people in charge of those banks are still getting bonuses and they see that as the architects of the economic disaster as it is being rewarded now also just generally angry at the way the country's being run and the phrases being continuously used today in terms of the slogan for today's action is we are the ninety nine percent they say they are there they make up the vast majority of this country they have no control of how the country thing run today they say this is their chance to strike back and is what

there is a now a connected and coordinated global movement that's calling attention to what i think is pretty transparent to everyone which is a kind of corrupt relationship between economic and political elites around the world. and so as of the occupy movement goes global let's try and track what's going on and where people in almost a hundred countries from asia and the americas to africa and europe are united in protest dozens were injured in rome as italian police used tear gas and water cannons to disperse crowds protesters smashed shop windows torched cars and for bottles as the demonstration against corporate greed and austerity measures turned violent a defense ministry building was also set ablaze plumes of smoke were seen billowing in near the coliseum and other parts of the city center in berlin police clashed with protesters after they tried to break through security barriers surrounding the parliament and pull the fences away as police tried to restore order crowds in
