reality verses in telling people they have to have values that align with a certain religion and i think more people need to know that and it's for saying this thanks so much thank you. i'll be right back we're taking a break. the the with the ok there's the police the welkin the the with the what were the concepts that nobody seems to know. but never persuade the face of the argument that they're being overly dramatic. you don't see a story so you think you understand it and then something else here says some other

10:33 pm
here in force or truth is that president obama has disappointed many of his most ardent supporters time and time again closing guantanamo was one of the first promises that he made on office but simply part of a long list of unfulfilled commitments on his first major accomplishments health care and that was marred disappointment a lot of people think that president obama's chief of chief failing was not going as far as promised as the public option was sacrificed all the name of political expediency next up president obama extended the bush tax cuts something he vowed not to do while campaigning and in fact that was is something a piece of his temp eight i don't even get me started on the rule of law extra judicial killings state secrets you've heard it all before but yes well we don't all have to use colonel morris is rhetoric say that it's all fell off something happened this president when he got an office and it wasn't for the better the next hour to respond if you were to watch my interview on the stop online piracy act also known as sopa political hell commented on you tube i wish more people were

aware of this all the videos i saw on the subject only had a few thousand views i also kept videos still get millions little do people know this b.s. to make cat videos illegal so yes listen to him a watch this video our video in the millions but i think our viewer here brings up a really good point and that's the failure of the people and of the media to make. connections here people spend a huge amount of time on the internet on you tube watching viral videos some of which are going to be about kittens and yet they don't spend a huge amount of time educate themselves about the threats to their beloved internet which is exactly what soap it's simple with change and in many ways free for internet as we know it to every out there if you want to continue watching you tube videos of kittens in the millions but i suggest you watch a video or two or read an article or two about sopa rabbit now finally i want to respond to a kind of you were rude of you locke said on you tube just discovering alone at wow she's in a new leak also is really good here the new viewer is enjoying the show so thank you he watching and spread the word and set my ranting save i'll be back with more

as usual later in the week. it was announced today that p.f.c. bradley manning accused of leaking classified information to wiki leaks will have his first day in court at a pretrial hearing in fort meade maryland on december sixteenth and be the first time the nearly eighteen months of mannix confinement the arguments by the prosecutors and defense will be heard in a courtroom as a welcome sight of news to manning supporters compared to the white house's announcement last week that they will not be answering any questions about his case and this new we the people initiative the white house has promised to answer questions or receive more than five thousand signatures in an online petition now despite the petition having more than the necessary amount of signatures on nov eighteenth the white house even official response on light citing that they are required to decline to comment on specific cases in the military justice system a little odd considering that we've heard the president himself comment on this case before. we don't have
10:36 pm
a big with me going to be. there with. the on world war i actually asked him to go. the procedures that have been taken in terms of his confinement are appropriate and are meeting our basic standards they should be that they are. i can't go into details about some of their concerns but some of this has to do with private medic safety as well. out how much can we expect to learn when the hearing actually begins so i need to discuss it as jane hamsher founder and publisher of firedoglake jane i want to thank you so much for joining us and as i mentioned before it's been almost eighteen months of confinement for bradley manning why you think that it's taken this long to even get to the pretrial hearing. well that's a good question the government will blame it on manning's attorneys who were trying
10:37 pm
to stop his solitary confinement and him from being stripped naked and so they said that require the delay but i really just don't think that they wanted this trial to proceed i believe that they were trying to get manning to flip on julian assange and wiki leaks even the government acknowledged at the beginning of the year that there was no connection between a signed and regular xo it was it was sort of a false confession i think that they were trying to elicit using extreme measures but we were lucky and manning was transferred out of quantico where he was undergoing in these conditions to fort leavenworth kansas where he has been since june and in much better conditions so you know that i don't think that that worked . through going to be allowed so far the defense attorney a set of this hearing might take up to five days. except for areas where they're discussing classified information but the way the government has been treating this entire case makes me feel like they're going to call everything classified.
10:38 pm
somebody said it's going to be open to the public the same way that the supercommittee was open to the public all of their meetings were supposed to be open to the public too but they put in a sane that anything any time they were eating meals together that they could have it in you know they could begin how to close and somehow they were always eating whenever they were in these meetings so i don't know that we'll get to know that much from the public being allowed to attend but it will be the first indication we've gotten about what the government's case is there have been many leaks about what it potentially is but we believe that it will come down to what they can prove based on our friend succeeded manning's hard drive his computer in the systems that were used or are not used as the case may be here in italy so doing i mean is this completely separate from the grand jury of trying to form in virginia to go after and find criminal charges against the innocent and against wiki leaks or can we override. well this is a military trial so it's not
10:39 pm
a grand jury but it is the equivalent of a grand jury and a judge will decide whether there is sufficient evidence to go forward and prosecute manning given the fact it is a military trial and the bar that they have to pass in order to prove that he's worthy of trial is much lower than it is in a civilian trial and also given the fact that as you mentioned the president as commander in chief has already said that manning broke the law we expect that it will proceed it's expected that bradley manning's attorney david coombs will calm as many as fifty witnesses and we will get to see which ones are allowed as witnesses and which ones are not and that will be the first sort of indication we'll have of of what the government is going to be allowing in and what what they are trying to prove i want to talk about this online and this people thing that was supposed to be great wait for the white house to open up with enough people are curious about a question or answer it it happened with the other week that enough people asked about u.f.o.'s and the government or the white house or the come out and say no they don't have any proof that it exists in the case of this bradley manning
10:40 pm
question they had enough signatures for a long ago and the white house is. like we already pointed out already has commented or least the president himself has said. things going on well that was at a private thirty five thousand dollars plate fundraiser so you know the president is not only willing to talk about it but to break his. his duty as the president not the commander in chief not to say things like that before people who have paid thirty five thousand dollars for the privilege of getting in and that is versus what they'll say publicly this but this is been going on i believe since the transition team for obama edwards i got this they put a similar device on the web site asking people to request their regrets that he addressed their top subjects and in every category it was marijuana legalization and they would address those either so this is sort of a longstanding history with this and i don't think it's doing it. yeah i mean it's
10:41 pm
like i want to know what the public wants to know about it when you find out i guess they don't actually want to have to address those questions let's talk about one vendors really quickly. toward for who for a very long time asking to have a one on one meeting with bradley manning so that he can assess his condition now who is going to have to release a report in a couple of weeks do you think that he might get access to manning. military hearing at all i don't know i have my serious doubts i know that dennis kucinich has only already been always has been requesting access to bradley manning as has annecy international and they've been told that manning can allow them you know can give them permission to come visit him but that means that they'll be watched will be under surveillance by the prison officials akaka times that they're having their exchanges so it's hardly an exchange where manning constraint candidly and it's another indication that you know there's one law for the people that pay thirty five thousand dollars a plate and another law for the rest of us you know clearly they don't want
10:42 pm
manning's conditions looked into they don't want the u.n. and our effort to reporting on this is not been a transparent situation and it makes it very incriminating regarding the conditions that many has been not under i know that there is an action plan for that during reading's hearing days also. tell us more the details i mean can you get. people involved in this is this an issue where or they might see eye to eye. i think that will you know when they take over the port of oakland when they should go to port of oakland it really warmed my heart that the banner that they dropped was free bradley manning so i think that there are already is a lot of native interest there are people you know with the other manning masks at the occupations and i very much hope that they age you show up there have you know the bradley manning support network is that a great in planning these rallies so i go people that really cannot show their support for bradley because it really is unconscionable what's happened to him i have no idea whether he did this or not but nobody else. who is not. in
10:43 pm
a position to know should know at this point either so i don't think that he's been given his day in court and i clearly you know it has the right to a speedy trial has not been respected and so i think that we're really happy that this is finally happening i hope people turn out to show to support bradley i'm sure that this is not an acceptable thing to happen in the united states r.j. and i thank you so much for joining us tonight and we'll be sure to keep covering the story too because eighteen months in confinement for some of those months in really horrible conditions before getting a trial it's no way for citizens from geneva thanks thank you. i will take a quick break but coming up here can presidential candidates actually paying for child labor laws first impression we're going to tell you who said that artful times like we have and all the men for happy hour occupiers take their messages straight to maryland bernstorff anti-psychotics after the awful lot of graphic.
10:44 pm
the a what if the police were looking at. the one of the protesters nobody seems to know. the one member of the face of the argument that they're being overly dramatic. you know to see a story so you think you understand it and then something else and here's the part of it i realized everything is our. world the big.
10:46 pm
bloated accountability i'm laurie mr. our guys it's time for tonight's tool time award and tonight as the g.o.p. presidential candidate and current front runner newt gingrich had just the other day gingrich was giving a speech at harvard's kennedy school on the topic of income inequality was presented to him and according to newt the problem begins in the school system and he says that schools that are failing are where the problem really starts so rather than letting kids carry out a typical childhood and in classes new think that america's youth should have the option of working at a young age instead it is tragic when we do in the poorest neighborhoods in trapping children in trouble in child laws which are truly stupid ok show you somebody you shouldn't go to work before you work fourteen sixteen years of age fun
10:47 pm
you're totally poor. that's right he thinks that child labor laws are stupid because kids should be able to go out and get jobs collecting money no matter how old they are so according to new the labor laws are actually including i kids ability to have a real chance in life now protecting them from exploitation slave labor of concepts that brought around these types of regulations in the first place and those laws were enacted in the early one nine hundred idea because it was to keep kids from becoming another form of income for a struggling family or making the children stay in school so they would have options for their future is something that new obviously doesn't buy and as if his commentary against child labor laws were enough that he came forward as an example of how kids can turn their lives around. most of these schools want to get rid of the unionized generators one master janitor and pay local students to take care of the school the kids would actually do work they would have care and you'd have pride in the schools they'd begin the process of. yeah i knew this proposing to
10:48 pm
kids that word has gathered there is their own schools now he did say during the speech that he'd be proposing radical ideas so surely this is no exception but c'mon that's up new what are you smoking is the former speaker of the house really think that we should fire those union cleaning peoples of the children can work for abraxane of the price for their own good really now i mean it's laughable the news for opposing sending struggling kids to work from your wages as an engine to economic recovery and it's a fire union workers while he's at it just an added plus so recalling child labor laws stupid we're going to give it right back to him and make newt gingrich tonight's bull's-eye might. our guys sign for happy hour and joining me this evening as our computers are getting churchill and mike riggs associate editor at reason i'd seen and reason dot
10:49 pm
com you thanks for joining me guys you know what if something i said even though you could even try for the right mr right if it you think he was attacking you already i haven't read that story yet mike ok so occupy wall street obviously they're not all that friendly with mayor bloomberg anymore and so they had this whole plan that they were going to go outside of mere bloomberg manhattan house and area to hold a drum circle and surround him it didn't quite work out that way they had to actually be a little bit farther off down the street but but they still got their drum circle on. the times. because we're. i just love i mean i love the drum circles or like their way it's like death by drum circle can you imagine if mayor bloomberg actually had to stand in the middle of one for like an hour and we're going to be excruciating i don't think being worse than the sound of his own voice but i'm just glad that these people are not
10:50 pm
like wasting their energy by like voting or you know i trying to find a candidate to oppose him or something like signing petitions because stuff is all it's totally idiots and yeah total waste of time drum circles holy work i mean you got to be a little bit closer for the magic power because i think there's like an aura around the drum circle and i think we're going south was in my view been occupying wall street because the drum circle is literally the most horrific thing you will ever experience was less about me to me and the only journalist oh yeah asians with you know like if there's one thing it started to break or for a while was really breaking apart was this debate over whether they would ice here to some of the demands made by the people who live around the park and actually cut down their drumming to two hours a day versus those that say that that's what they where their energy comes from they're calling movie but. it's not really sure of their goals but i think i had my i might propose a law that would make drum circles actually torture and i think i'm going to salute elysium i know how to live from jericho as everybody was torture when we made all
10:51 pm
those people listen to. stuff that's going to drag it's guantanamo or the woman who claimed that she was tortured by look i'm still running late if you're standing on the street corner listen to her drum circle who present your clearly was a baby has no choice susan shackle the string it is a. manager that all. and all those who probably got canned because they couldn't leave it's only place i have to go. i just do your jenny i hate law i think it was so stupid bonnie because it would be a really good way to you know i am i don't think the drum circles are in any way i say we outlaw rush limbaugh we drive great oh my god please stop rush limbaugh on the drums from their suggestions right now. ok let's move on to the next story shepard fairey i think everybody knows him because before when obama was campaigning to be president there was this hope poster you know it was everywhere if you like everyone the the wrist stickers they were all over his cars
10:52 pm
you just saw this poster everywhere then faeries kind of having mixed emotions about president obama and so he's done a new poster where he is supporting the occupy movement and there you see the guy with the guy. with a little hood he can make a hoodlum. but he's still rope a he sees obama as a potential ally for the occupy movement. i think and i know you're a huge so i don't know and i don't know well because you know i started making money off all his crappy obey giant posters you just because you support a democrat which is like the least here rebellious and. i'm not i do i like these two i hate the hope and i also hate this idea you feel like crappy story taking about other crappy posters but i don't hate them build a giant poster i don't know they don't really like inspire me to do anything but. this stuff is off like that's on biggest selling thing i've ever seen i have this poster everyone lives and that's what people don't like obama anymore and now everyone i thought my wall street so i'm just going to put a different face in the living room he has been expressing his discontent with
10:53 pm
obama for a long time you know basically a couple months after obama got into office people obviously wanted to follow back up or shepard fairey because he was somebody that helped to make his face such a staple and he has been saying that he is not happy with the president so it's not necessarily like oh something else is going on but if you want to claim what i want you can try to play both sides and i want to know if he thought he plagiarized to make his occupy poster because i was in his youth because we played or i got no that was like a whole debate was that he used to call your eyes the photo if you take a picture and make like something else i mean that's just the way artists are there's no such thing as plagiarising in the same way i just want to read you're not a dog not plagiarize just want to be ripped off i just i disagree i think it's your they don't want to regard but you know their own you don't want to be told to be ripped off to do it. one of the i don't know i'm not i'm not sure i you know andrew breitbart should get to the bottom if he were i'm scared yeah well you know if
10:54 pm
you're watching the show you know the other stars you know who doesn't. like they'd be angry tonight just getting let's move on to pamela geller another person that drives me completely off the wall. she claims that she muslims take a look of her this is a clip of her explaining why she loves them so much even though she constantly talks about how horrible they are. i love muslims the ground zero mosque is an offensive insult it's a stab in the eye i have no problem with mosques across the city but we're talking about history and islamic history of building triumphal mosques on the chair sites of conquered lands. all right so that's i guess you could say that's how she really got her name first was because she was so close to this ground zero mosque or you could just call it a park and community center. of all with her triumph. but now this
10:55 pm
is really just getting crazy so she's calling for a boycott of butterball accusing the company of selling stealth whole is she saying that they're prepared in accordance with muslim dietary laws excuse me and sit across this great country on thanksgiving tables nationwide infidel americans are unwittingly going to be serving hold all turkeys to their families this thursday turkeys are whole all certified who wants that especially on a day which we're giving thanks to god for our freedom i think is the closest butterballs ever going to get to like aligning us interests with the slow food movement because it takes forever to like make your turkey kosher right or what's the lesson we were not in love with yesterday is that they actually it's only exalting they were different and they like this a slightly different jibberish when they crave it's not a whole lot different in missing it also it's so similar that in countries where they've banned you know these whole all foods they've also banned kosher food
10:56 pm
because they're so similar and it's just crazy to me because of you caught in that quote she does the whole g.'s slash thing because she's jewish and it just makes me so saturated if you're right again with a lot of it's a lot of. blasphemy kind of but so it just makes me so frustrated because you know that she's never going to go out and be like americans in ballparks everywhere are eating kosher franks we must end this you know i don't i don't get her made some good points about this today about how that's not just a sign of these guys. you know responding to market demands things you could call it a very quick she's not she's not a capitalist as if you were she had been fine with a part fifty one percent or so which was like raising its own right so fairly if you buy a butterball turkey you are waging jihad against the united states according to my father throughout her last story this one is called f.b.i. friday and this is the thing coming out from anti-septic look. as part of our ongoing effort to be expose and humiliate our white enemies we targeted as special
10:57 pm
agents supervisor of the california department of justice in charge of computer crime investigations we are leaking over thirty eight thousand private e-mails which contained detailed computer forensics techniques. all right so this is where you really start seeing like the breakdown of the war begin it's not just anonymous going after a pay pal because they shut down something that we you know they're getting personal this is and i say going after the white house because they don't like hackers they're helping this is like but more going out there doubled or something like the nerd armies are preparing for war and it's absolutely terrifying especially without peanut man monocle thing i don't know if this. was going to have a need for making these jokes on your show and this is something that again i mean you know i got or i've ok ok you can write i got to get up and thanks for joining us as of right so thanks for sitting and if you come back tomorrow for reasons anthony grandad is going to be back on the show in the meantime don't forget me i'm a fan of you want to share on facebook and follow us on twitter if you missed any
