eighteenth of february the african migrants were rounded up locked in a detention center and burnt to death and the n.p.c. expressed support for this time and this is part of the strategy of the west you know divide and rule and that was given the green light of the torture and execution that we're seeing now so this is a recipe for civil war meanwhile the nato operation that brought the m.t.c. to power is by itself raising questions. a high profile international team of human rights activists has been to leave here to investigate some of may two that it bears entity of where with that if you go in the friends and there were guiding the air raids and they addicting them and court have been raping them if you are mandated. approach to the view that. it is very

saying there you have you said. which are simply are not true what my problem. my problem with the m.d.c. is that a lot of the. exiles that have come back and some of my actually lived in the suburbs of langley and that's my issue ok my issue is that these are western syria gets worse as a matter of fact one of the issues in libya's right now that when you talk to libyans they refer to the t.n.c. the transitional council as a government of foreigners and so i think you put your finger right on the rug these are not cronies of gadhafi as a matter of fact most of those people have been arranged out of the t.n.c. has brought in and i'm not even if you were going to. lose a number of them were exiles and so in a sense that is part of the problem and why they are not legitimate is because they really have no standing in the country at this point.

charlottesville in virginia took the matter to their city council which passed the resolution calling on the federal government to end all its wars and avoid starting the new one with hugh grant the biggest threat right now is that we will get jackknifed into a war against iran which would be a disaster for the people of iran and for the. of charlottesville and the rest of our country david swanson is the co-author of the resolution adopted by the charlottesville city council. of popular will as always been against wars unless pushed in dragged by very manipulative propaganda and they have been trying those who want war on iran have been trying unsuccessfully for years to get the american people on board i went out on the street to see how many people i would meet who want the u.s. to attack iran. do you think the us should attack iran no no not at all the last

thing we should do though it's a terrible idea that one of the worst ideas i think i have heard a while yeah that would be horrible yeah because they're good guys but because. i think another war is just a horrific idea but look on the republican side you've got certain ones over there who want to get who just can't wait to get us in war it really doesn't look good at all do you think the u.s. should attack iran yes just one out of more than a dozen interviews and it's not just people on the street but many experts in the security field warn against starting a war with iran including the former acting director of the cia people keep saying that the military option this is still on the table i think it would be a very bad option but the latter one to use one of the big problems with iran is that if you get into a an open confrontation a military confrontation your risk a cycle of retaliation and response. with great difficulty seeing where the end point is the question one may ask is how does washington continue talking wars with

so many americans against them i have a hard time thinking of any example of any issue on which the conduct of our government in washington corresponds with majority opinion war is not some kind of exception the public is against bailouts for bankers the public is against subsidies for energy companies them. against wars the public is against just about every decision made on important issues in washington the fact of the matter is that majority of americans don't want the new wars on their plate poll showed they were opposed to u.s. involvement in libya as well but the government went about it anyway many says that the rift between what americans want and what leaders do in the name of the american people is getting larger i'm going to check our reporting from washington marty. well for more on all our stories you can head to our web site r t v dot com here's what's lined up for you today lunar long sought one republican presidential

hello and welcome to our business update the software for joining me we go to our top story the devils economic forum is displaying signs of a split personality this year the likes of the i.m.f. david cameron and george soros warning of potential catastrophe while on the other side a number of heavyweight industrialists who think much of the rescue work has been done all the while there's an ongoing discussion about how to remodel capitalism to create a fairer world now to discuss how to form a spotting out i'm now joined by the top berman head over investment banking at troika dialogue hello to you sir thanks for joining the program so how would you describe the mood in davos regarding the next twelve months on the line between terrified and cautiously optimistic. we haven't seen anybody to serve for your davos it's been in. an opportunity for some of the world's leaders politically and commercially to come together and share some ideas about how to

resolve the crisis not only in europe but some of the other global problems that we face today having said that i think most people and i'm certainly i'm cautiously optimistic about a resolution of some of the issues that we're facing in europe today but i have not seen anybody who would display signs of terror i think this is been a great opportunity for dialogue and frankly for to push forward some of the solutions that are going to be important for europe over the next months but in general has the forum done anything to diffuse the idea of this economic meltdown in europe that we're talking about all the time. i think it's played an important part in you know the purpose of the forum and frankly the the reason people commit the time and effort to come here is really doing gauge in dialogue it's a really i think quite a unique opportunity for some of the leadership of across europe across the world in fact to come together and share ideas in an open and frankly very constructive way so i i think that a lot of the solutions that have been that we talked about over the last weeks and months this is been an opportunity to move those ideas forward and whether there

are concrete outcomes is probably less important than the fact that a lot of the leadership of the world has come here in order to actually focus on these issues and again i think it's a been a very very constructive dialogue now looking at your company right now we see that it is looking to expand beyond the us that can you tell us about those plans than and i mean who have been talking to at the forum about this. well if in fact the there are no concrete plans to expand beyond russia or the c.i.s. countries right now troika has just been acquired by spare bank we've just joined the leading financial services group in emerging europe we have an enormous amount to do just in our home market which is really russia and the c.i.s. countries so our focus first and foremost is going to be on our clients and our home market in the future there's certainly the potential to expand but that's not our immediate priority our immediate priority is to provide a first class banking service to our clients in russia and in the c.i.s. region but just just quickly if you are looking to the future what markets are of

most interest to you. well i think in terms of public markets the equity market is very interesting today rushes a market where i think valuations are very very low or house view it's worth the dialogue is that we could see the r.t.s. closing up over fifty percent this year and historically russia is traded very cheap relative to other major equity markets in the world so i think there's a very positive sentiment around russian equities today and i also think there's a tremendous opportunity more in the corporate side for some of russia's leading companies to look abroad assets are very cheap in particular in the euro zone today and i'd be very surprised if a lot of the leadership of russian companies still believe it is to expand their franchises outside of russia c.i.s. and into the euro zone ok berman head of investment banking and tracker dogs thank you very much for your time thanks for thanks very much thank you very much for. and let's have a look at the markets crude is heading for a weekly gain in three on signs of economic recovery in the u.s.
