of mishaps in the elections and he would support people going back to the streets there there have however been leading voices within the muslim brotherhood that have denounced the decision of the court and the phrase being used is that this is a fully fledged coup and we're hearing that kind of criticism from across the political spectrum on wednesday the justice ministry decreed that the military police and the intelligence services half of whites to arrest and detain civilians and that in addition has sent out alarm bells to me it seems as if the emergency law that was only recently lifted could very well be reintroduced so you have these political developments that are causing people like mohamed el baradei who is the former head of the united nations atomic energy agency to call on the military and the court to perspire only elections that were scheduled to get under great the concern is that these elections will be overshadowed by violence the concern is also that the country will slide back. two to toil rule and the other concern is

would be a more violent reaction with regards to the with regards to the verdict however surprisingly things are quite calm to be on the streets and i actually think this is a positive thing because it reflects that people might be depressed yes they might be disappointed however it shows that there is a couple of. perhaps of people taking things slow in order to think things over to see what the next step will be right but the islamists are really pushing the agenda in this election terms of we are going to be different than mubarak everyone else is the same thing with that said what do you think we can expect from this presidential runoff are they going to are they going to make it and make it big because the population understands that right now it's very much like it was under mubarak. the mubarak regime for thirty years rule ruled the egyptian people with with with giving them an eye on ultimatum it's either the

mubarak regime or the islamists and sadly we're back to the point where we were forced to choose between the mubarak regime and the islamists and every night stands in line with a it's not mr no way. doesn't that strengthen their chances because so many people might vote against the mubarak regime should. in one way yes it does strengthen their chances in one aspect however on another aspect let us not forget that for the last year and a half the supreme council of armed forces had designed the transitional phase in such a way to eliminate any form of opposition or any form of alternative to the supreme council of armed forces. actually fell victim to this simply because this fell into the trap that was set by the supreme council of armed forces and it was because of the behavior of the muslim brotherhood over the last over the last eighteen months

their behavior of completely abandoning the revolution and running after the seats are there in parliament for the presidency that campaigns such as this which means boycotting boycotting campaigns were established several weeks ago in order to encourage people not to give legitimacy to these elections simply because they were placed by the supreme council of armed forces furthermore people that took part in the first round of the elections said the better alternative is to nullify their votes and to morrow more than five hundred thousand people will be sticking these stickers onto their ballots as a form of objection as a form of objection to having to choose between a member of the mubarak regime and the islamists both of which had abandoned the revolution so if that works and the is not the muslim brotherhood candidate loses in the runoff what's next are we going to see mass protest on the streets of cairo

again. we will see mass protests the timing is still unsure as we know protests in egypt usually happen in response to something there's a very very big chance that mass protests arise in the case that either the order morsi win because many people see that both of them do not represent the revolution obviously he is a worse candidate simply because your presents the mubarak regime that the destroyed egypt for decades but the muslim brotherhood are also losing huge amounts of popularity with every day because of their political decisions what is next yes many people will return to the streets and lots of alternatives will be formed especially in this upcoming period in response to the horrible situation that we are in which is to choose between a member of the mubarak regime and a member of the muslim brotherhood ok human rights activist nor nor live with us on
