a buying soon the economy since the no idea of the first term of obama but overall nobody really got terribly ensues nobody was very confident with either can't do that much why you saw barely two percentage point difference between the two when the polls were coming in and ultimately romney had the opportunity to win but he was simply not a strong enough counter to convince the electorate that he was the man to run the u.s. economy and if we look at the stock market's reaction right now we are looking at considerable losses as it says so investors are demonstrating their displeasure right now at obama well i think there's two things happen here first of all i mean something that's been talked about even longer than it's the economy stupid is by the rumor sell the fact and therefore yesterday actually markets were girding their law into really expecting that we're going to see a continuation of obama this morning we've got a centrally the post party hangover everybody's we're going up and they thought well could be good for markets could be good for the economy because we'll probably see more quantitative easing quantity of easing is affectively dropping money out

of helicopters on the other hand of course the huge problem is that we not suddenly realize that this thing the fiscal cliff is looming at the end of the year and what the fiscal cliff means is that there are lots of tax rises coming there are various tax cuts that are going to be eliminated and indeed there is a sensually a total incontinence in the way that the american government spends its money. now it is obama's last term in office do you think that he will be a lame duck as if he wants to lead the president's. as a popular man do you think he will make the necessary decisions spending cuts to do the job. well that's a that's a very interesting question because i mean first of all i would argue that mr obama isn't a very popular man and he's been elected by about fifty three fifty four percent of the electorate and then reelected by fifty percent of it in his first term he was going to be the great amount of hope and she and should do all sorts of different things what we've seen in the last six or nine months has been an incredibly bitter

campaign by somebody who's been very very keen to be moderately divisive across america and really therefore what are we looking at in economic terms i think we're not going to see any great difference because actually mr of obama just dogs not get the economy he doesn't understand and he doesn't seem particularly interested in it and during the course of the next four years he's simply not going to have any degree of economic power to move forward in the way that he would like which is essentially spending more government money aid because there isn't really any more government money to spend and second of all because anyway the republicans still control congress for at least the next two years so unfortunately little dark with a lovely degree of oratory once he can keep themselves under control that will be mr obama's second term i suspect. and do you think that some people could be losing their jobs federal reserve chairman ben bernanke and tim geithner treasury secretary do you think they could be out. i'm not entirely convinced it will be at

this juncture as i say mr obama doesn't really engage by the economy he doesn't really understand the economy and actually overall i'm not necessarily sure that the biggest feelings are necessarily full with those two particular gentleman i'm not sure they're absolutely scintillating really brilliant at what they've done but nonetheless they've essentially followed the same orthodoxy that are amongst the central bankers and tracery secretaries at the moment to reduce the treasury secretaries and central bankers their reputations of taking a terrible knocking of the last four or five years because they don't really speak to know what they're doing as a collective group like a pathway thank you very much indeed for your time today that's all we've got time for. thank you for your time we're going to rock on and check out the markets and see what's going on we'll start with the u.s. and they are indeed responding to the election of barack obama as we've been stag and it's deep losses but the act is as concerned over the impending fiscal crisis dominate market sentiment also events in europe are really helping matters as well

of bradley manning. important it's unfair to put him in prison. about eight hundred. without any charge so and this is totally inacceptable totally unacceptable. in democracy you cannot just. you know put someone into prison and torture him and this is what the un said about bradley manning who was tortured by the u.s. army in the prison where he was and this is not acceptable and we have to stand up for human rights do you think this tradition might change after the elections in the u.s. while i'm afraid that there will be no change the actual president barack obama he won his campaign with his. saying about the change

so all he promised a change in the u.s. but the thing is the fact is that he was doing the same like george bush he has his exfoliating killings he has the crimes he has the walk rhymes and he has gone time now more and everything else what george bush done before barack obama so it will be same it's not. just changing the persons but the policies going on i got lots of really hundreds of e-mails and letters from people all over the world which are supporting and giving me the strength to go further and. do some work like this what i have done and they are supporting me in being really interested in real human rights issues and fighting for human rights of someone like bradley manning you were criticized in your country and internationally for
